Aug 14 00:12:34 Typewriter ♥ 1 Genuinely one of the sickest things i've seen done with "ascii" art, great work
Aug 14 00:28:25 15m 51s Corrupted Space ♥ 1 Quite fun and well polished, though the relation to the theme is kind of tenuous. I feel more like im running out of time with the the regrowing blocks, which makes it feel more like a speedgame, which I like.
Aug 14 00:52:45 24m 20s Hydrogenic ♥ 2 Good shit gabe. The movement/spikehitboxes are a bit unforgiving, but its quite fun otherwise, and impressive that you did this drunk
Aug 14 16:20:37 15h 27m Writespace ♥ 3 wow it starts slow but once you get to some of the more complicated mechanics this becomes a brilliant puzzle game. Great aesthetic and interpretation of the theme too
Aug 14 16:58:11 37m 34s Boxcorp Employee Training ♥ 1 Alas I am not adequate at box stacking. It's a very good take on the theme, I feel like im trapped inside a game of tetris. I also have never seen sprite based hand IK before and I love it.
Aug 14 17:09:07 10m 56s Vupu ♥ 1 As the others say, cruelly hard but very fun. Could maybe use some checkpoints. Dash-jumping feels great, to the point where it basically doesn't need the regular movement and would maybe work as like a 2 button infinite runner. I also really like the art, gives me great kirby vibes.
Aug 15 16:01:14 22h 52m Spatris ♥ 1 A cool idea, good execution. could maybe use a mid game way to see your points. Might also want to check out SUPERHYPERCUBE by Polytron, its a commercial vr game with a similar idea.
Aug 15 16:13:07 11m 53s Pipe Dream ♥ 1 Very good art, and I like the feel of the player controller for the most part, but it definitely suffers a lot from a lack of room variety. Also, the best strategy for all the enemies seems to be just to run past them (the only strategy for batbot?) and the oil was never really much of a threat. I made it to the final boss but accidentally jumped out the map before I could figure out what to do. Anyway take or leave the suggestions, the art, the oil effect, and the seed based level generation is a feet for a weekend anyway and you should be proud!
Aug 15 16:17:19 4m 12s Move_LD42 ♥ 1 I quite like the style, and its impressive for only a day and a half. It's a little odd that lava, water, and pits do exactly the same thing (as far as I can tell). As others have mentioned, it needs some warning when a block is about to fall and the jump is strange, though that's always hard in isometric.
Aug 15 16:25:04 7m 45s The Flesh Pit ♥ 1 pretty dope, just enough mechanics and weapon variety to keep it fresh. Really uses the them well. Only frustration for me is the slow movement speed, which makes it very hard to avoid being hit at all, but if that's the feeling you want then that's cool too.
Aug 15 16:33:04 8m 00s At the lab ♥ 1 Very interesting idea, just a bit rough around the edges. It's a was a little hard to understand what was going on at first, and i managed to accidentally clip myself out of the map.
Aug 15 20:05:40 3h 32m Smoke: it's ok to feel ♥ 2 fuckin excellent. I would play a full game of this. Really like the dialogue choice mechanic and the distorted speech audio, really made me feel like a sad mess.
