Apr 24 20:45:48 Rogue Racer ♥ 1 I had a lot of fun playing this! Dodging and weaving through the obstacles at high speed felt very satisfying. I was very impressed by the whole upgrades system – you managed to get a lot done in 48 hours! However, I personally found walking to the track each time a bit tedious; perhaps the character could be a little faster on foot? Really enjoyed it overall, though. Noticed a typo: "amorur" instead of armour / armor :P Screen Shot 2018-04-24 at 21.44.31.png
Apr 24 20:52:43 6m 55s Calculator SWEAT! VR ♥ 1 This looks really interesting, but both links give me a 404 error :( Would love to play this if you manage to fix it! Screen Shot 2018-04-24 at 21.51.01.png
Apr 24 21:05:51 13m 08s Heartache ♥ 1 Very cool entry, had lots of fun playing this one :) I really like the art style, too. I found it a little too easy, though, and after a certain point I found myself sitting back and not doing very much while the towers just annihilated everything on the screen. Perhaps there could be something to keep the player more involved – for example, maybe towers could become damaged and the player has to rush over to fix them?
Apr 29 20:46:04 119h 40m Dark Soil ♥ 1 This is a truly excellent game! The controls feel really polished and responsive, which makes the combat very enjoyable. I love how the difficulty increases on your own terms; having the seeds you plant spawn the enemies is an ingenious game mechanic, as it allows the player to increase the difficulty when they feel ready. The art and music were also ace, especially considering the very short time you had to make them :) I think that this has a lot of potential to be expanded into a full game, I'd love to see this with more enemy types, weapons, etc. (I'd definitely buy it!)
Apr 30 16:02:07 19h 16m Survival Chess ♥ 1 Very clever concept! I think that you've done a great job at mixing two completely different styles of games to make something really interesting and unique. It certainly forced me to use my brain, it's a lot more intense that normal chess! :D A minor complaint, though: I'd appreciate it if the resolution of the game was smaller, as it was significantly larger than my laptop screen. Overall a really great entry, though – well done!
Apr 30 16:21:25 19m 18s Goose Typing Attack ♥ 1 I love the concept of this, made me chuckle :) Turns out I'm not very good at typing! The art style is excellent – there's something very charming about it. I think it would help if there were a few more different words, though; I found myself typing the same words a lot, which made it feel a tad repetitive.
May 12 08:19:11 279h 57m Pipe Warrior, Mech Dream ♥ 1 This is a really clever concept, well done! I love how just moving forwards or turning a corner requires planning and ends up feeling like a big achievement :D I think it would have helped if there was a fast-forward button, though, since moving down long corridors takes a very long time. Also, I'm not sure if it was a bug, but I was constantly slowly turning anticlockwise which made it difficult to shoot the enemies, which I found quite frustrating. Overall a really cool entry, though – definitely top marks for innovation and theme!
May 12 09:39:35 1h 20m BBall ♥ 1 I enjoyed this a lot! The concept is simple and easy to understand, yet it's really challenging – trying to manoeuvre the paddle while simultaneously aiming twisted my brain into all kinds of knots :D Especially considering that you somehow managed to make this in 6 hours, I think that this is an absolutely outstanding entry – I gave it 5/5 overall :) To nitpick, though, I felt while playing that the character should have a little more vertical velocity when bouncing, since this would give the player a little more time to react.
May 13 20:14:21 34h 34m Nintendating ♥ 1 Great job! This is a really funny concept for a game. I found it a bit confusing at first, but once I started to understand what was going on I quite enjoyed it :) I don't think I've seen a Ludum Dare entry made in Scratch before – it's cool to see the variety of different game engines people are using.
May 13 20:25:43 11m 22s 'Meme'bumps ♥ 0 Nice concept! I'm not really familiar with many memes, but I still found it quite funny. I really like the art style, and those fading footprints are a very cool visual effect. However, I had some issues following the music – even with headphones on I couldn't really tell which direction it was supposed to be coming from (that might just be me being stupid though XD). Despite the humorous nature of the game, you actually did a pretty good job at building up tension with the unsettling music and limited vision. Good job!
May 13 20:46:13 20m 30s Point & Shoot ♥ 1 This is a fantastic concept and I would absolutely love to see a full game like this! You've got a real talent for writing the descriptions and dialogue – the description of the storage cupboard made me chuckle :) Despite its short length, it's clear that a lot of hard work has gone into making this. Great job!
