Apr 24 15:37:29 Citizenship++ ♥ 2 Fantastic game! The terminal was designed beautifully, and the keypress sound effects were really sweet. I think the concept was really unique as well. My only suggestion is to find some way to reduce the amount of times the player connects to an IP they can't unlock. Maybe on the "list" command it could show each lock type next to the IP? Or it might to be fun to come up with a subtle clue, like IPs starting with two numbers are Beta, etc. Great job though!
Apr 24 15:41:39 4m 10s Sword step ♥ 0 Very unique concept! It took me a minute to get the hang of the controls, but eventually I think I found a way to be unbeatable. ๐Ÿ˜„ It might be fun to add some combo moves or different enemies in the future. Great job!
Apr 24 20:54:36 5h 12m Darkade ♥ 1 Awesome job! I was impressed with the amount of content you were able to pack in during just one weekend. Loved the unique theme and story as well. All around, really fun!
Apr 24 21:12:09 17m 33s Eggplant Kindergarten ♥ 2 Hahaha I took a screenshot of the "You Win" screen. Really great game! I especially loved the voice tutorial, the art, and the music.
Apr 24 21:49:46 37m 37s A-Card Shooter ♥ 1 Great idea and executed well. This is one of those games that I could play for hours if I let myself!
Apr 24 21:59:25 9m 39s Snakes and Ladders: A Texted Based Adventure Game ♥ 1 Ha! Funny idea. I liked the descriptions on the tiles.
Apr 24 22:08:48 9m 23s PlatSCII ♥ 3 In regards to your question posted above, you CAN still port it to WebGL. According to the rules: "Porting (especially to Web or Windows) can happen after the initial 48 hours." I really enjoyed your game! The movement felt very smooth, the music was atmospheric, it all just felt very unique and cool! My only suggestion is to think about player convenience when developing controls. For example, "f+j" is much harder to type on the keyboard than just "fj". Great work!!
Apr 25 18:03:45 19h 54m Cyclevania ♥ 2 Great idea, awesome game! I liked all the different paths you could take. My only suggestion is more types of enemies/weapons to add some variety. Nice job!
Apr 25 18:11:14 7m 29s LogiCars ♥ 2 I like the unique idea! I couldn't figure out how to match the tiles, though. Do the three tiles all have to be in a line, or can they just be touching? There were no lines of three tiles on my board, so I'm not sure if I was playing correctly. Nice artwork though!
Apr 25 18:24:21 13m 07s Spatialsurf ♥ 1 Awesome entry! I loved the gameplay, the art style, and the music. I like how it steadily gets more difficult over time, too.
Apr 25 20:53:37 2h 29m Blocks'N'Blaster ♥ 0 I always love games that provide a new twist on the classics. :) I liked this entry a lot. I thought the idea was creative, and the execution was done very well. The music and art style really gave it this 80's retro vibe, which I think is what you were going for. I don't particularly have any suggestions. At one point, pressing down caused the blocks to fall incredibly fast to the bottom, which was really bad for me! I'm not sure if that's a bug or an intended feature, but either way you may want to address it somehow. Great work!!
Apr 25 21:21:22 27m 45s RTHM ♥ 1 Clever entry. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I love a well-timed rhythm game! The added notes on top of the backing track gave it a really bouncy, fun feel. I thought the four emoji choices were hilarious as well. I think this game could benefit from a score counter, or a more obvious objective. I didn't know which direction I was supposed to press when I could send emojis, so I just sort of guessed random ones until I won. Other than that though, great game!
Apr 25 21:29:42 8m 20s -------- Noisy - Ninja -------- ♥ 1 I Won! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Really great game, guys! You should be proud. I found the gameplay fun and challenging, but not frustrating. The art was excellent as well! My biggest suggestions are: First, adjust the rhythm notes to actually fall in time with the backing track. It's a subtle change you can make that will make the ambiance of the game flow a lot better. Second, the 'r' 'g' and 'b' keys are in an odd position on the keyboard, and it was difficult for me to press them all at once. I recommend you adjust the keys to be three keys in a row, such as 'a' 's' 'd' or the 'left' 'down' 'right' arrow keys. Congrats on your first game jam!
Apr 25 21:43:51 14m 09s Trivia Monsters ♥ 0 Great idea! I liked the combination of trivia games and turn-based fighting. It seems like you packed a ton of content into this game over just one weekend, so kudos to you! Some fast-paced battle music would really complete the atmosphere, I think!
Apr 26 14:31:41 16h 47m Punk at the Opera ♥ 0 Nice job! That was a lot of fun ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I love how different enemies show up as you progress farther in the game, really keeps it interesting!
Apr 26 14:38:19 6m 38s LoveGarden ♥ 1 Nice job! I really love the idea and the art. I found myself with no possible good matches several times, and was forced to match bad things until I lost! So watch out for that. Otherwise, I think this could just benefit from sound effects a little reactions by the character when you match things. Great game!
Apr 26 21:06:43 6h 28m Power in Numbers ♥ 0 Nice work! I found it a bit difficult to figure out what to do at first, so some more clear instruction would be helpful. Fun and unique concept though!
Apr 26 21:31:24 24m 41s Torrejรณn Love Story ♥ 1 Very very impressive! Awesome job! I liked how each battle was a minigame from a different genre. (Although the bullet one was really hard!) I played all the way to the end. Great game!
