Dec 14 00:01:00 Sonder Really enjoyed this - some puzzles actually got pretty tricky towards the end. The writing was excellent as well - found myself caring about the characters by the end of it.
Dec 14 00:08:00 7m 00s Dizzy Danny Great idea! Had some problems lining him up at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was really addictive.
Dec 14 00:22:00 14m 00s The Employee It's weird - can't say I necessarily had fun with this, but I loved it. Clever concept and executed perfectly. Great footstep sounds, and the death/pass out on quit was a nice touch
Dec 14 00:31:00 9m 00s Pit of the Slime King Nice work - gets pretty tough! After five attempts, I still couldn't avoid being overrun by the Slime Boss. Speaking of, loved the guy floating around inside the slime boss - nice touch :)
Dec 14 15:48:00 15h 17m Room 753 Your games always creep me out - like a bad dream (or trip). You have this knack for making everyday things feel... sinister? Not sure if that's the word I'm looking for, but either way, awesome work.
Dec 15 19:51:00 28h 03m Detective Noword and the case of the floor tiles Really enjoyed this! Clever idea, great writing, and the music fit perfectly with everything going on. Pretty interested in this "Paint of Persia" tool you used (or maybe even made?) - great name if nothing else :)
Dec 16 15:30:00 19h 39m Little Black Spider For an unfinished entry, it felt surprisingly finished! Took me longer than I care to admit to finally squash it. Nice touch with the radio - didn't notice it in the instructions, so it was a nice surprise when I clicked on it accidentally.
Dec 16 15:40:00 10m 00s One Tough Room Really unique take on the theme! The pseudo-Seinfeld intro music was a great touch. This is the kind of idea that would benefit from more time, I think - I can picture it from the perspective of the audience watching the comedian doing weird animations based on the key presses. StoneMonkeyStudios idea for Peanuts adult voices is a great idea as well. Fun stuff!
Dec 16 16:10:00 30m 00s Sneaking and Squeaking Great entry! As mentioned, a split second of forgiveness after walking off a platform would be nice. I'd also recommend another checkpoint after exiting the vent. Having to redo the fan sequence after failing the upward draft portion was a little frustrating ;)
Dec 16 16:17:00 7m 00s Karate Basketball Wow... amazing entry. Tough as hell AI, beautiful art, funny sportscasters - incredible what you accomplished in 72 hours!
Dec 16 16:26:00 9m 00s SLIPSTAR Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this game - kind of zoned out, so I lost count of how many laps I did. Best time of 15.92 - not sure if that's good or not. A ghost replay would be perfect for this kind of game, and maybe something to tell you the number of laps you've done & average lap time.
Dec 16 16:30:00 4m 00s Hikikomori This hit a little too close to home ;) Nice work!
Jan 2 22:49:00 414h 19m Claustrophobia Loved this - the claustrophobia mechanic was really unique, and I really appreciated the intuitive upgrade system. Wave 5 was my limit, unfortunately, but I might have to give it another shot in the future.
Jan 2 23:00:00 11m 00s Loop Hell I'm feeling a little slow after the holidays, so unfortunately I don't think I fully solved this. I feel like it has something to do with the order of the flashing numbers, but ran out of time to test it. Really liked the character animation - had a Maniac Mansion vibe to it.
Jan 2 23:07:00 7m 00s One Room One Bomb One Minute Interesting idea! Though I struggled with the controls a bit (mostly when trying to break the boxes). I don't think I'd do well in a bomb squad...
Jan 2 23:13:00 6m 00s Shadow Fencer Theatre This ran a bit choppy for me for some reason which made it a bit hard to play, but I love the concept and the visual design is excellent!
Jan 2 23:24:00 11m 00s Loft is in the air I played only the jam version so far, but there's already a ton of great stuff going on here. Love the art, very unique take on the theme, interesting mechanic and overall super polished. I didn't have a gamepad to use, so I struggled a little with the controls. Hoping to find some time soon to give the post-compo version a shot - awesome work!
Jan 2 23:33:00 9m 00s Behold Our Dark Science Really impressed with the scope of the level you've made. Very smooth layout - never felt too lost at any point, which is important. The mood really sells it though - the music and visual style were a perfect match. Excellent job!
Jan 2 23:47:00 14m 00s TISIC IZIEB One of my favourite entries, for sure! Totally worth downloading for the added visual fidelity as well. And not to downplay every other of piece of this game that is so well done, but I think my favourite part is the squash/stretch animation on the couch... love it! (Oh, and to answer your question - yeah, I did the music in my entry. Glad you liked it :)
Jan 2 23:57:00 10m 00s Not Enough Meatballs Haha - what a weird game! ( Meant in the best way possible, of course) Makes me think a first person Binding of Isaac could work really well in a similar visual style.
Jan 3 00:03:00 6m 00s One Room Rush Super addictive! I only wish the delay after you die was shortened. Sometimes the wait between games was longer than the game itself. Great music, and nice visual style as well. Excellent entry!
Jan 3 00:09:00 6m 00s Break The Trance Congrats on your first jam entry! Loved the visuals, but had a hard time picking up the painting. Jumping on the vampire's head also did nothing to break the trance ;)
Jan 3 00:13:00 4m 00s Fireskulls Simple game, but pretty tough and very addictive! Impressive entry, especially given the timeframe - I'd say that was a 1/2 hour well spent. Slo-mo zoom was a great touch.
Jan 3 00:25:00 12m 00s Polygon Finished this, but for the most part, I don't think I entirely sure what I was doing. The only rooms I felt most confident in were the ones that had a coloured shape. I'd actually be really interested to hear the correct way to solve this! Very intriguing over all - the only thing I would change besides a little more explanation is in the rotation speed. Nice touch with the stormy background!
