| Dec 15 11:06:00 | Floor is Lava | The music is great, and I like the graphics too. The controls suck though, the player moves really slowly and I felt like I was struggling with the controls the whole game. I think maybe tweak some of the values

I played on the web on my mac, by the way.

I tried to get on the highscore table but I guess I'm not good enough! It's a nice difficulty balance of being quite hard but also quick, so you can keep trying.

On the whole, I liked it! Nice game! | |
| Dec 15 11:16:00 | 10m 00s | Rat House | Sad times, I'm on a mac and I don't have love :(

Is there some way to package love things for web? |
| Dec 15 11:17:00 | 1m 00s | FeelsNeonMan | sad times, I'm on a mac :( |
| Dec 15 11:30:00 | 13m 00s | Space Attack | Fun game!

Needs sound though! Try using sfxr or something similar -- even small sound effects would have made a big difference.

I had a weird issue where the left side of the text box was off the screen when I put the game in full screen. But then when I went back to not being in full screen the game fit somehow.

I did find it funny how the ship kept getting fill up with more and more junk. I didn't find it that hard though, I guess my initial strategy and placements kinda just worked. |
| Dec 15 11:31:00 | 1m 00s | Breach Lockdown | Can't play on my mac :( |
| Dec 19 06:20:00 | 90h 49m | Bird-O-Tron | Ah, I couldn't play the game, because I don't have the java development kit. You should be able to package it so I can run it without that, which is allowed post-compo. |
| Dec 19 06:35:00 | 15m 00s | Stuffed Office | Next time I'd add in some simple music and sound effects. Not too hard to program in, and you can use royalty free music in the jam.

The game mechanic itself wasn't very unique -- I had to do something similar for a internship application once. It needed something extra to make more interesting, I think.

Nice 3D models! |
| Dec 19 06:45:00 | 10m 00s | Agoraphobic | This game needs some feedback for when you hit and do damage to an enemy. Also, in general I've found it's more fun to have weaker enemies rather than strong enemies, and instead have the challenge come the enemies attacks or the amount of enemies. |
| Dec 19 06:57:00 | 12m 00s | Eternal Prison | I couldn't get past level 10. Nice job with the graphics. The moving sound effect was kinda annoying, I'd recommend lowering the volume of it compared to the other sounds.

Sound other tweaks I would make it have the level transition automatic, and faster, I think it would make the game flow more.

Solid game! |
| Dec 19 07:04:00 | 7m 00s | Home Decorator | Cute game! I quite liked it.

Some audio and visual effects would go a long way to making this game feel a lot better. |
| Dec 19 07:17:00 | 13m 00s | Chamber Talk | Sweet game! |
| Dec 19 08:51:00 | 1h 34m | Pimp My Room | Fun game, but fairly standard in terms of mechanics. The graphics were just ok, and the music and sound effects were a little unusual. I still had fun playing it though! |
| Dec 19 10:49:00 | 1h 58m | Tangent | I really like the music! Well done, very polished game. |
| Dec 19 10:57:00 | 8m 00s | General Room | Short, but great! |
| Dec 19 11:04:00 | 7m 00s | One Room Dungeon | I found the screenshakingness a bit too disorientating sometimes. But nice little game! |
| Dec 19 11:19:00 | 15m 00s | Simulated | Haha, this was a fun game! Great as usual, sheepolution! |
| Dec 19 11:21:00 | 2m 00s | Good Impression | Uh, I can only play the web one. Is it the Ludum Dare version? I hope so! |
| Dec 27 11:25:00 | 192h 04m | One Room Adventure | Hey, uh. Looks like you broke one of the compo rules! All the graphics need to be entirely made by yourself. From the screenshots, I can see you've used a few sprites from Zelda, and maybe modified them a bit? You might want to switch your game to be in the Jam instead. Have a look at the rules here: http://ludumdare.com/compo/rules/ |
| Dec 27 11:36:00 | 11m 00s | 1 Room and 48 Hours | Haha, this is a great game! Love it!

I also liked the fact that you didn't need to do anything about hygiene :P |
| Dec 27 11:49:00 | 13m 00s | Dark room | Simple, but not too shabby.

That is one creepy cat though... as soon as you look away, he teleports? Crazy!

As some people mentioned, the controls could use some work. I think the character should be able to move a bit faster (you could make the room larger to balance this out). It feels too slow. Also,

Finally, the game could really use some sound effects! It's really easy to make some quickly with something like sxfr.

From the looks of things, you might be better focusing more on adding interesting gameplay and less on making different 3D graphics. Particularly as I could barely see most of it in the dark! |
| Dec 27 12:03:00 | 14m 00s | Sound Crush | Nice looking and sounding game.

I think the core issue with it for me is that the music didn't have a very meaningful impact on the way the blocks appeared. From my perspective, the main difference I noticed in the game was that when the music was more 'intense', there were more things appearing in the game. But the rhythm of the song or the pitch of the notes didn't really change the way the notes appeared in a way that influenced the gameplay, really. If I could somehow predict the way the blocks would appear based on the music, and I had to change what I was doing based on that, it'd be pretty cool.

The game itself is still cool! I just think that part was a bit 'dissonant' to me. |
| Dec 27 23:51:00 | 11h 48m | One Room | Promising start to a game. I think the thing I would add (aside from game over stuff) is some additional game mechanic, because walking around somewhat slowly and punching isn't that fun by itself. |
| Dec 27 23:55:00 | 4m 00s | Escape from the Writers Library | Hi! I am unable to play this game because I am on a mac! I think you made a mistakes with your links -- you should include separate mac and linux (and windows) builds so that people can play the game without the unity editor. Preferably have these separate to the source, to reduce people's download sizes. |
| Dec 28 00:20:00 | 25m 00s | Spellbound | Nice game! I think it's my favourite music so far, good job!

I got stuck at the water part, and had to read people's comments to continue... the torches weren't obvious enough for me.

The pixel art is a bit wonky in the Web version due to the scaling, but I downloaded the mac version and played that, which worked fine. Also yeah, often the text didn't fit on the screen.

I felt the ending was a bit anti-climactic though, hitting a wall of text was a bit disappointing. But it's a jam game, so understandable. |
| Dec 28 00:36:00 | 16m 00s | Shut in Simulator | Nice game. Interestingly someone made a game that's very similar about making a Ludum Dare game.

The graphics are pretty good. |
