Dec 12 04:50:00 Interdimensional Chrono Janitor Service Neat! I feel like this game is "begging" for an auto-advance mode for the timeline, so we can enjoy the fruits of our destruction :-)
Dec 12 12:18:00 7h 28m Last Night On Earth Hey, that was a pretty good game! It gave me a jump or two!

Some things were a bit confusing. For example, in the beginning, I spent a good time trying to left click on the phone (you have to right click it to begin the game).

Also, there is a red marker on the top left that, maybe, is the number of aliens left to kill? But it was not clear at all if it was that, or your life, or what.

I think the intensity of the attacks needed to increase a bit near the end of the game.

But you get a 5 star for mood from me!

Thanks for the game!
Dec 12 12:33:00 15m 00s keturi The game was very sharp, I liked the rogelike action a lot, specially without the option to skip turns.

That said, the game could have used a little bit more feedback. Sometimes I was surprised that my weapon had more charges than I expected, probably because I picked up a powerup that I had not seen. So maybe a blip or flash when you picked up a powerup would have been great. Also, it was not very clear what the different monsters were capable of -- maybe you need to telegraph their abilities a bit more to the player.

Roguelikes are all about information :-)

Great game, though!
Dec 12 13:21:00 48m 00s Escape Pod Hey, can you upload a Linux binary as well? Thanks :-)
Dec 12 13:40:00 19m 00s Salvage Star The graphics are gorgeus!

But I found the controls a bit awkward... way too many times I was not sure if I could climb the tree a little bit more or not, and sometimes it seems that the game had difficulty recognizing jump and grab at the same time.

I manage to get to the butterfly shape, but after that I just gave up :-(

Also, your game runs on wine fine! Since it is in lua, maybe you could publish a Linux/Mac binary too?

Cheers!
Dec 12 13:44:00 4m 00s My Friend Bubba It looks awesome! Unfortunately, wine can't run it :-(
Dec 12 14:14:00 30m 00s spring cleaning I Lol'ed. The music is pretty awesome as well :-) I went three more days after you said you were out of things to say, just to make sure :-P
Dec 12 14:21:00 7m 00s One Roomba You know, for a game that you made on your phone, with no graphics or sounds to speak of, this is damn well fun.

I really felt the pressure to dodge the red balls going my way, and getting the clicks just right was exciting.

Well done!
Dec 12 14:37:00 16m 00s Non Euclidean Room Hmmm, wine is not running your exe correctly. Since you are doing it in Unity, could you export Mac and Linux binaries as well? Thanks!
Dec 12 14:47:00 10m 00s The Hunt Is Off! That is a pretty clever idea. At first I thought you had to throw the preys into the predators to kill the diseases that were too populous, but the idea is to simply try to keep them separated, right?

Anyway, that is a clever idea for Gameplay, I like it.
Dec 12 15:06:00 19m 00s Abandon Ship Ok, that was a good idea. I think you need to work more on the mood of the game: Circuits sparking out, sometimes the ship shakes for no reason, More voice overs at certain rooms -- It is all about the experience!

After figuring out that I was way, way on the wrong side of the labyrinth, I just gave up :-(

The web version was not holding the cursor lock, but the binary version worked without a hitch!

Thanks for the game!
Dec 13 09:56:00 18h 50m Inside The Office Any chance to get a linux/mac build out? :-D
Dec 13 10:06:00 10m 00s Crazy Factory Cool, a 3D version of my game :-D

This has a lot of promise, but you need to make it a bit more clear how to "play" the game: For instance, what is the input side and the output side of your machines? Do the resources pop into the room? Then maybe the popping tiles should be a different color. In short, make things a bit more obvious to the player -- never underestimate the capacity of a player not to understand your game.

Or add a short video of someone playing your game as an example!

Thanks for the game!
Dec 13 10:10:00 4m 00s 1 biT Strike Yeah, the game is quite fun, I got a 900 score. I felt like the ship could be a bit faster, but that is part of the challenge, I guess?

I loved the song, and the general "look" of the game.

That said "one game maker room" is stretching the definition of the theme a bit too much, no? ;-)
Dec 13 10:17:00 7m 00s The Comet Hmmm... I couldn't get very far. I think I clicked everything on the screen that gave me a text, but nothing in the game changed. Maybe I'm missing a pixel somewhere.

I would make the text a bit bigger, at first I did not notice that some text popped up when you clicked around.

The music is quite nice!
Dec 13 10:24:00 7m 00s SuperBoomBoost It was nice, you have a pretty solid game base here. Take it forward a bit with more enemies, more effects, etc :-)
Dec 13 10:38:00 14m 00s DarkLight Well, congratulations on completing your game!

I am afraid I didn't quite get it though. I ran to a white light, then Another white light, and then I saw a blue and a red light... and I think that's it. Did I miss something?

Maybe you should add the goal of the game in the first screen :-)
Dec 13 10:48:00 10m 00s Chamber Talk That will not look good on my resume... But I managed to slay the demon with only 2 deaths!

It was quite funny, thanks a lot for the game!
Dec 13 11:01:00 13m 00s sit down Lol, the game is rough, but that is a cool idea. You should definitely work more on this, get some timings, maybe make the student's walks more interesting, etc.

On another note, this teacher should probably be arrested for child violence :-P
Dec 13 11:08:00 7m 00s Color Factory That is neat. I missed being able to rotate the pieces.
Dec 13 11:23:00 15m 00s Post Mail Package Mail Room Office Wow, this was fun! By the way, the first time I played this, I did not realize that you could build before the level started, so I was building at the same time as the mail was filling up the room!

Honestly, that should be the standard way to play the game!

Placing the tiles in the right direction was a bit tricky sometimes. Maybe we could use the right button to rotate the tiles? Also, a sound when a tile is placed or destroyed would be great.

Finally, I found the rules pretty clever: The color based splitter, and the fact that big packages don't jump, while smaller ones do.

Thank you very much for the game!
Dec 13 11:33:00 10m 00s The Murder Sorry, got a Null Pointer Exception when trying to run your game :-(
Dec 14 23:58:00 36h 25m Bouncing Balls with the Boing Boing Boys Cool graphics, and I like the bounce idea, but the FPS was extremely low in my machine, which I found kind of strange for such a simple game, and kinda defeats the purpose of the entry. Any way you can add some profiling tools to check what is making it so slow?
Dec 15 00:10:00 12m 00s Reckless Redecoration First I love the your sprite work and the general idea of the game. I also like the one lines in the menu. Yes, there is a lot left to do, but I think you got a solid start here.

First, the player needs more information -- you could add a reminder on the bottom of the screen of the commands, and the budget.

Also some feedback on the action would make the game a little more fun -- for example, a little screenshake when you place the furniture and one low note would make a whole world of difference, and wouldn't be that hard to implement.

I might steal your idea of a floating menu for the items in my game :-)

I hope to see you continue with these!
Dec 15 00:20:00 10m 00s One Room Dungeon Wow, super cool entry, such a PICO8 master! :-)

I loved the special effects and the general idea of the game. I find it nice that you cant kill the enemies, but it would be cool if you could make the enemies kill each other: for example, have the archer kill the bat or something if you could get them in front of each other.

As for the controls, at first I thought you had to "rush" into a wall to make it move, but then I realized that you could move the wall from anywhere in the room. Make it would be cool if to move the wall you had to actually push against it? (along with a little head-butt animation).

I got to 1-2/3-1/4! (The ice world)
Dec 15 00:36:00 16m 00s BOSS ROOM Boss fights, nice!

The good: I loved the size of the room, the minimal controls and the graphics in general. Fighting with a whip is always classy!

The bad: The sounds were annoying :-( also, on the flying boss, I couldn't reliably get up the platforms. It seems that I needed to trigger jumping bugs by having the player "grab" to the side of the platform to jump, but it was not clear.

Thanks for the game!
Dec 15 00:44:00 8m 00s Vault I like the sprite work!

At first it was not obvious in-game that you could press enter to open the item menu, so thought picking up the teapot made it impossible to pick up the rope. Maybe add a message somewhere in-game to explain it?

Thanks for the game!
Dec 25 12:37:00 251h 53m We Need A Hero Ok, this idea has a lot of potential! I really like the idea of working as a supervisor to a team of super heroes, without direct control over them.

I hope you keep working on it!

I think the thing that I missed most was a few sound effects as feedback: simple things like a "bleep" when you press a button, or a "ping" when a new bandit shows up.

Also, it was not very clear that you have to press "fight" for the battle to start. My first game my heroes stayed near the bandits with silly facing waiting for me to say "GO!" :-)

Good game, keep working on it!
Dec 25 12:46:00 9m 00s Santa's little bin packer Yay, Christmas spirit!

I really enjoyed the game. It took me one play-through to figure out what was going on, but once I did, it was fun. I managed to get a 7760 score.

I think it is a really unique idea, but the music grated on me a bit. Probably something a little more upbeat would make this game 200% better.

Very fun game, thank you!
Dec 25 12:55:00 9m 00s Inside The animation was pretty nice, I specially liked the roundhouse kick. The murderous sofa was really funny. The sound was cool too.

The combat could use a bit more feedback: maybe a punch sound when you hit, and maybe the enemy is pushed back a pixel or two, would make the combat more "meaty".

I couldn't get past the third enemy :~(

Thanks for the game!
Dec 25 12:58:00 3m 00s Interrogation Room I couldn't get it to run with Wine :-( Too bad, I was looking forwards to playing this game. It seems that you made it with unity, maybe you could export a linux binary as well?

Cheers!
Dec 25 13:07:00 9m 00s Nightmares Wow, that was a pretty simple but a pretty solid entry. I liked the details in your pixel work, and I liked how you worked the polish of a pretty simple idea. It was also really nice to have the rock bounce and kill multiple nightmares in on rock.

My score was 34 :-) Not the best, but it is mine :-P

One thing that bothered me a bit is that you needed two clicks to throw a stone. I would have liked to be able to pick and throw with a single click.

Also, after the nightmares start coming, something interesting could happen if you managed to throw another rock through the window.

Thanks for the cool game!
Dec 25 13:40:00 33m 00s Networking™ Hmmm, I see where you were trying to go, and I think it is a very interesting direction. But for a "walking simulator", you probably want to add a few more "scenes". For instance, there is a potatohead who is facing the corner, and there is a light shining over him -- I think it would be interesting if we could interact with him somehow.

Maybe instead of just exiting the room, we had to stay until the party was over, but we could do some things to advance the time (like play with our phone?) but if we play with our phone too much, other people come bug us.

Think of what else you can imagine from a "networking" experience that you could add to the game :-)

Cheers!
Dec 25 14:10:00 30m 00s The Chinese Room Haha! Double Chinese room! I loved this game, the whole idea of trying to control the body while trying to play spy.

It is super hard though, I really have no idea of what I'm supposed to be doing, but that is the idea right?

I did not get what the two buttons related to digestion were... it seems that one is digest, and the other is throw up?

Marvelous game! If you could post a walkthrough video it would be awesome!
Dec 25 14:39:00 29m 00s RoomOne Tried to run it with Wine, but it crashed :-(

Do you think you could try to make a linux/mac binary as well?
Dec 25 14:40:00 1m 00s Disaster Drinks Any chance you could make a Linux binary or a web version?
Dec 25 14:47:00 7m 00s 4/4 Room This was really fun and I loved the music. I hope you keep working on the game!

PS: In the Post-compo version, I can't seem to be able to open chests... :-(
Dec 25 14:56:00 9m 00s ROOM ZERO It's brutal. I love it. The graphics and the control works, and the reload mechanic is really clever.

This game reminds me a lot of super-hexagon... and like super-hexagon, it needs SOUNDS! Please make a post-compo version with some sound effects, and if possible music, it would make this entry perfect.

Thanks for the game!
Dec 25 15:05:00 9m 00s Tim in Time Loooved the Dino music! And suddenly, pico-noir!

Such a beautiful entry! I'll have fun digging through the code later :-)

Thanks for the game!
