Aug 29 04:06:00 Archaic Light This was fun to play, it felt a little grindy however. I think that your end point of 100 was just about right, much more and I may have given up on the game having more to offer. I love your art style, and the ending was fantastic!
Aug 29 04:14:00 8m 00s Call of the Ancients Very unique! I was unable to follow through the entire treasure hunt of a game you have set up, as I don’t currently own a phone, but this IRL game is a fun idea.
Aug 29 04:23:00 9m 00s An Historic Defense This is quite fun to play! I like your take on ancient technology. The only problem that I had with the game was the very twitchy nature of aiming some of the weapons, but that may be down to the settings that I have on my computer. Nicely done.
Aug 29 04:35:00 12m 00s Highly-Accurate Shepherd Simulator I had a lot of fun playing this! Your character animations are awesome, I especially love the flailing legs when you pick up an animal. The only thing that I didn’t see in your game was an end goal, there seemed to be no reason to increase the number of sheep or keep the wolves away. I did like that you punished me when I started throwing everything, including my family, onto the altar. Lots of fun.
Aug 29 04:46:00 11m 00s No Man Has Gone Before This game is quite entertaining for a while. I may have enjoyed it more if there was an ETA, and I was trying to keep as many people alive to the end, but it was a fun balancing act. I live your graphics choices, and the ship systems interacted in ways that I did not always expect. I thought that it was interesting (and maybe not intended) that even after the mission fails you are trapped on a ship, ETA unknown, keeping it running forever, or until you give up and write a comment instead. :) Quite a fun game overall.
Aug 29 04:54:00 8m 00s Archio “Game”? No, I don’t think so “Awesome, entertaining, beautiful, calming”? For sure. This is increasable to play, even if I have no clue what I am doing. I love the sounds that are created as I drag several cubes in quick succession, and the interaction between the cubes is very well done. This is excellent and quite fun to play with.
Aug 29 05:05:00 11m 00s L.M.V. Edison The audio in your game is fantastic. The moodiness of the pulsing hum really sets the mood very well. I had some trouble with sensitivity looking around, but that may just be my mouse settings. The only problem that I had with this game was interacting with the main computer terminal, it only seemed to process my inputs one in five times, making it quite hard to get anything done with it. I enjoyed this game, and its mood was fantastic.
Aug 29 05:13:00 8m 00s Ancient Mars Your graphics style is great. I had trouble with jumping, it seemed that the jump key didn’t work when walking, and when standing still it didn’t always work. Your opening had very long pauses between the text blocks, I think that putting in a button to skip to the next one would have been nice. I think that this game looks very neat, and if the jump was a little more reliable would have been a lot of fun.
Aug 29 05:21:00 8m 00s Trickery of the Kings This game is one of the most complete feeling that I have seen in this LD. I live your sound, and the little things like the effects when jumping and landing. I think that your art style worked very well with the platformer style game that you put together, making this a very fun game to play. Some of the jumping challenges seem a little harsh, but that may be my inexperience with jumping talking. Overall very well done.
Aug 29 05:35:00 14m 00s The Trade Network I love this game. It is very entertaining to try and connect the villages in an optimal way that lets me not get taxed out of business. I enjoy the random maps, they usually feel very completable right up until the tax rate spikes. I can understand why the American Revolution started over taxes.
Aug 29 05:45:00 10m 00s TrainStack This game looks fantastic. I had trouble understanding the train/trap interaction, as it didn’t always seem to work the way that I expected. I made it almost 6 levels before breaking down and peeking at the solutions. : ) I think that this is an awesome take on the theme, and a great puzzle. I will certainly be trying it again when I am more awake.
