Aug 30 03:48:00 Aliens Didn't Build Them Played this game without reading the instructions first, Somethings were very intuitive, so it didn't take me long to figure out that knocking the enemies off the edge was key. I was unable to figure out how to switch characters (I suddenly had the Soldier and couldn't replicate it)

Ideally when a bomb drops, you should be able to push it much like you can with the enemies, that way you don't feel helpless when the screen starts to fill up with them. That would also allow for you to use strategies to knock a bomb over, blow up an enemy, and then push them off while they're stunned/recovering. I also would like a little bit more feedback or understanding of what happens when you jump on an enemy. Do they have health? Does that weaken them? Should they be stunned?
Aug 30 04:04:00 16m 00s Guidance Thank goodness for the Windows build, I wanted to try this out and the Web GL build wasn't working.

Very short and beautiful, would've liked to have had more puzzles to play.
Aug 30 04:10:00 6m 00s MyRobot Very simple, not quite sure what to do besides click on the robot and collect gears. Good job on your first Ludum Dare.
Aug 30 05:35:00 1h 25m Watch for Falling Rocks I survived for 5.7 minutes. I really love the animation and gameplay style. I found myself waiting till the last second before dropping things... That didn't work out too well for me in the end. 158 would be suitors taken out though.

I loved the blend of the art style with the music and sound effects.
Aug 31 04:29:00 22h 54m Reinvent the Wheel Took me quite a bit to realize what I was suppose to do (jump and switch).Unfortunately my memory was terrible and once the tutorial was done, I met my end almost instantly after... unless it was a flat road.
Aug 31 23:17:00 18h 48m Forty Two Found the game fun... got stuck very early in the game(embarrassingly early so I don't wanna say which level) Are there 42 levels or should I sit down and just play all the way through and find out for myself?
Aug 31 23:25:00 8m 00s PrimalVoxels Very nice first entry, and welcome to Ludum Dare.

Unfortunately I didn't have a second player but wanted to try out the gameplay regardless. It was very difficult to figure out where I was aiming with the keyboard and mouse. Maybe auto aiming when you're pointed towards the other player and would have a clear line of sight. Or the player hilites in some obvious yet subtle way that indicates there is a clear line of sight.

Rapidly taping on the mouse sometimes the arrow would disappear a few inches away from the character.

Other than that I want to try again with a gamepad when I get a chance.
Sep 1 20:25:00 21h 00m SETBACK Wow. That was pretty cool. Every now and then I got the music playing on top of itself, not sure if it was just me or it happens to other people. When that happens I would just refresh and start over again. Loving the music as well.

My highest score was 36.
Sep 4 00:13:00 51h 48m Dont Get Eaten by Dinosaurs Cool game, I couldn't kill a T-Rex, no matter how hard I tried. (not a bug... I'm just terrible at this) :(
Sep 4 00:27:00 14m 00s BG BLU This game is awesome! I love how the music changes when you go into the different color challenge rooms.
Sep 4 03:25:00 2h 58m Paws of Purrsia: Kitty Litter This game is too adorable! I tried playing alone and couldn't survive the first flower.
Sep 4 04:11:00 46m 00s 500 That was really trippy. I made it back to space, but it was difficult. I very much so enjoyed it.
Sep 4 05:00:00 49m 00s The Ancient Tower I really like the concept of trying to play two characters at once. I tried to imagine how gameplay would work for myself, and I believe you nailed it.

The controls seemed floaty sometimes, but that allowed for me to manipulate jumps a tad bit easier. Unfortunately though. The game was much too hard for me... I couldn't get past the second door. :(
Sep 4 05:33:00 33m 00s Artifact of the Ancients Unfortunately by the time I got the hang of the game it was over. I really liked the flipped portal mechanic as well as the manipulating the other side by moving the crates.
Sep 4 23:35:00 18h 02m SMASH BASH: Sukhov vs Zombies This is a very polished game. I love the graphics and gameplay. Every now and then a key would get stuck or the mouse button. Even with this, I made sure I played over and over again until I figured a way to survive.

This game is awesome. I love it. :D
Sep 5 00:24:00 49m 00s Joey's Adventures Some of the platforming was a little difficult, I actually got stuck when a block fell in front of me (and I had to restart the entire level). I loved the torch mechanic, it implements a certain amount of urgency without a visible clock timer.
Sep 5 00:32:00 8m 00s Gizmo of Giza I'm with @MiniBobbo on this. I was really getting in to the groove of the game and reached the exit. I loved the art style as well as the basics in game play. I wish I would've understood the turning of the blocks while holding it. And I was expecting some cool secret with the first 4 blocks in the entry room.

Other than that, this is a pretty solid game.
Sep 5 21:02:00 20h 30m Oscilloschaos I was excited to get into this game as soon as I saw the style. Unfortunately it crashes whenever I end the level (winning or losing).
Sep 5 23:34:00 2h 32m Grampy Katz in: The Big Date Not sure if she says more than "Swell" but she didn't complain about anything so I think I did a great job.... I mean the meat was cooked to perfection. :D
Sep 6 19:46:00 20h 12m The Lost Caveboy This was a nice short and sweet game. Had a little trouble firing ranged weapons at first, but I got use to the controls.
Sep 7 04:15:00 8h 29m Ball Shui I really like this game and dedicated about an hour to make sure that I played it from beginning to end. I did notice that you didn't need all of the pieces to finish some of the puzzles and if the physics hit things just at the wrong movement, you could win or lose with the same exact layout. On my low end HP machine I would experience slight hiccups every now and then that would change the outcome, so I had to try the simulation multiple times to be sure.
I also really dug the music notes hitting as you placed a piece down or clicked.
Sep 11 17:07:00 108h 52m Place of Power After playing and realizing I was about to get sucked in, I quickly came back to tell you what an awesome job you've done. Glad I did after reading the comments I see I probably would've been playing for a very long time. Only thing I needed was a slight tutorial, I couldn't understand what I was doing and had to trial and error my way through building more.

Awesome job!
