Played this game without reading the instructions first, Somethings were very intuitive, so it didn't take me long to figure out that knocking the enemies off the edge was key. I was unable to figure out how to switch characters (I suddenly had the Soldier and couldn't replicate it)
Ideally when a bomb drops, you should be able to push it much like you can with the enemies, that way you don't feel helpless when the screen starts to fill up with them. That would also allow for you to use strategies to knock a bomb over, blow up an enemy, and then push them off while they're stunned/recovering. I also would like a little bit more feedback or understanding of what happens when you jump on an enemy. Do they have health? Does that weaken them? Should they be stunned?
@Kizler Thanks for the feedback! I wish I could give some on yours but I will try again.
The bomb pushing idea is actually a really cool one I never thought of, and the pushing enemies isn't actually supposed to be good. When you run into an enemy is makes you lose health. You can kill enemies by pressing space as the first guy (peasant), clicking to shoot with the craftsman, both with the soldier, and clicking for laser eyes with the pharaoh. Jumping on the does nothing but bounce you (I thought it looked cool) but they do have health and take 2 hits to destroy. (never got time to add more then 2 enemy types)
Once you kill an enemy you get a pyramid piece and once the whole pyramid in the top left corner fills up, a portal appears. You can jump into the portal to switch to the next character.
So, space to mele with peasant and soldier
And, click to shoot with the craftsman (throwing pots), soldier (shooting arrows), and the pharaoh (big guy with laser eyes when you click)
@Kizler Turns out a left a debug setting turned on to automatically start at level 5, oops. I will fix that soon.
Fun game and interesting concept! Will be great once the one-level bug is fixed!
@Arre Vanier Fixed!

Unfortunately i was unable to play in Web version (link is moving to jar file, not playable in browser). Love big pixels and platformer style. May be it's reasonable to make green color no so bright to cool down full picture style?
@Zulman I never actually made the web version version, that is why it says TBA. But thanks for the feedback. I definitely should change the ground to a different color

Really liked the music and the character. Would love to see the finished game.

no collisions issues that I could find but dying from falling usually means another or two falls when respawning.. so that made it a bit diffcullt to play.
Pros:
Great Music
Nice Art (The fully finished parts)
Fun to play
Lot of Content for 72 hours
Cons:
Some placeholder art
A bit unpolished
Low Level AI
Love to see it fully finished! Good Job
@Smiley Thanks for the feedback. It probably would have helped if there was a countdown for respawn and if you respawned on the ground. I am happy there are no collision issues now!
@Mine10blox Thanks, yes I definitely need some more polish and better AI, but I also was planning on having more enemy types. Also, I never thought of using that format for comments, I will use that from now on.
Simple game with easy to pick up gameplay. Graphics are inconsistent, music is a bit repetitive but the game is fast paced and held my attention for the 5 minutes or so. The rapid-fire bow was the most fun to play, and it got very hectic very fast which I like :)
I played it on Linux. It works fine, though it runs a bit slow on my old machine. You got an nice game mechanic here, though the action is a bit random. Just staying on one platform waiting for enemies to come seems an optimal strategy.
