| Apr 19 03:47:00 | Pixel Pets | cute graphics and a simple mechanic. would be nice to shapeshift even more to see more of those cool creatures. nice job. | |
| Apr 19 03:55:00 | 8m 00s | Sub Dragon | Incredible graphics and sound. My xbox y-axis seemed to be inverted, so I had more luck with the keyboard, but a deceptively difficult yet still fun game. Nice job. |
| Apr 19 14:25:00 | 10h 30m | Radiant Core | Really awesome graphics and sound. A little tricky to control with the mouse, but still loads of fun. Absolutely love the lighting and colour choices. Very nice job. |
| Apr 20 01:11:00 | 10h 46m | Xeno Crisis | Great music as always and very cute graphics. Like the simplicity yet variety in enemies you achieved for the jam. I managed to get stuck in a wall at the end so lost all of my goodies saved up over 2 dozen rooms. Very nice. |
| Apr 20 01:17:00 | 6m 00s | Meepies | Cool thematic idea for shifting shapes. That third room caused me a bit of grief, but in a good way for a puzzle. Very nice job. |
| Apr 20 01:24:00 | 7m 00s | Shapetris | Cool idea and implementation of the theme. Would be interested to see how a shape preview changes the difficulty. I was sadly never able to clear more than one line in a row. Good stuff though. |
| Apr 20 04:57:00 | 3h 33m | ShapeShifter | Really cool idea. Like the swarming algorithm. One death was attributed to losing track of which guy I was in my 30 object swarm, so some highlighting would've probably helped. Nice job. |
| Apr 20 05:23:00 | 26m 00s | Pellanor's Shapeshift Game With A Terrible Title | The title is memorable, and that's half of it. I couldn't double jump high enough to clear over the blocks at the start in the web version, but the windows seemed to work fine. |
| Apr 20 05:27:00 | 4m 00s | Befitting Perpetual Owl | My wrist is getting sore from mashing the spacebar. Nice take on the theme... it worked out really nicely. |
| Apr 20 05:32:00 | 5m 00s | Family Sim | Different. A touch hard for a colour-blind person such as myself, but I can figure it out if I pay really close attention. Nice smooth character models and tech. |
| Apr 21 01:03:00 | 19h 31m | SUPER SHIFTER | Very cool game. On theme, great crisp graphics, nice music, and the ship shifting controls just worked. Would be interesting to try portrait rather than landscape layout to get more lead time on enemies a la 1942. I'm going to get carpal tunnel if I keep playing it from hammering spacebar (Gamepad would be great), but might return to this one later. Very nice job. |
| Apr 21 04:54:00 | 3h 51m | Evasion | Cool implementation of the theme. I like the scream when you die. It makes up for the fact that it was hard so I was dying a lot. Nice job. |
| Apr 21 05:05:00 | 11m 00s | pulsar | It said press a button on gamepad or keyboard, but neither seemed to register anything until I unplugged my gamepad and restarted and then keyboard worked.

Anyway, other than that it seemed solidly built. Graphics are clear despite the chaos. It always took me a few seconds to realize I was out of bullets, so maybe some more feedback (sound or graphics) would help that. Nice job. |
| Apr 21 14:10:00 | 9h 05m | TowerShifter | Great concept. I didn't get the popups that are displayed in your screenshots, so was only slightly aware of the difference between some of the creatures. Very beautiful graphics and great sound. |
| Apr 22 03:42:00 | 13h 32m | Key Quest | I don't think I ever found a key, but it's an interesting implementation of the theme and pretty fun. I liked that the different weapons really changed the style of play. Nice job. |
| Apr 22 03:49:00 | 7m 00s | 3SH | I couldn't figure out what the point of switching shapes was, but liked the bullet hell patterns from the red enemies. Nice job on your first LD. |
| Apr 22 03:59:00 | 10m 00s | A Worlds World | I didn't notice the world shifting, but it was cool to walk around in this beautiful world you created. |
| Apr 22 04:18:00 | 19m 00s | Wax | Really cool puzzle platformer. Really liked your core mechanic and level variation. Only critique is that some of the levels seemed to move really slowly (e.g. I was sitting and waiting while riding up blue "wax"). Nice job. |
| Apr 22 04:26:00 | 8m 00s | EnergyShift | Cool idea. Gorgeous graphics. Quite punishing unless you just hold the spacebar in midair, and then it becomes far simpler (would be nice if there were times when I wouldn't want to hold it). Nice job overall. |
| Apr 22 04:57:00 | 31m 00s | The Maitre D | Wow, this is one of the best LD entries that I've ever seen and the first one that I think I've rated perfect. Totally on theme, great graphics, hilarious sound. Congrats. |
| Apr 22 05:12:00 | 15m 00s | Jack Shift | Cool idea. I think there needs to be some additional feedback when scanning the items. Nice job, would've liked more! |
| Apr 23 02:30:00 | 21h 18m | Triplets Team | Are there only the two levels or did I miss something? Tried it out, but I don't quite see where you're going with it yet. Congrats on getting your first game playable though. Final note: I'd suggest exporting as an .exe rather than an installer, because it lowers the bar for others to play it (I made the same mistake on a previous LD). |
| Apr 23 02:42:00 | 12m 00s | Don't Look at Me | Very interesting non-standard submission. Thanks for this. |
| Apr 23 04:28:00 | 1h 46m | Slime Mold Revenge | Clever use of the theme. Excellent use of music. Clear graphics. Nice job. |
| Apr 23 04:36:00 | 8m 00s | Planet-0 | Really liked the way you eat someone and assume their form. Good take on the theme. Excellent and clear graphics. Really nice job. |
| Apr 23 04:48:00 | 12m 00s | Spirit of the Ancients | Very short, but could be interesting with more time. Even though there was only a few levels, I liked how you did the level design to introduce abilities/techniques. Nice job. |
| Apr 23 19:13:00 | 14h 25m | Make A Bunny | Excellent game. Took me a while to figure out how to use everything, and after that my poor memory held me back a bit. But a very silly and enjoyable game. Played it for a lot longer than many others. Nice job. |
| Apr 23 19:58:00 | 45m 00s | Morphlings | I didn't work out what the clear advantage of a barrier over a breeding morphling was, except as a last resort when attacked to create a slowing mechanism. Interesting little game though. Nice job. |
| Apr 23 20:07:00 | 9m 00s | Mike Rand in Fantasy Land | Not really on theme, but your mechanics worked pretty solidly. Like how the bad guys broke down when killed. Nice job getting something playable. |
| Apr 23 20:21:00 | 14m 00s | Escape from the Dungeon of Snor | Looks like there's a lot going on here, but I couldn't figure out how to open doors. I liked the humour and the idea of shapeshifting into stuff you find, and the fact that it's an adventure type game. |
| Apr 23 20:29:00 | 8m 00s | The polyman | The window was a fixed size and slightly bigger than my primary laptop resolution (secondary is my 4k), so I might have missed things above or below the main play area. Congrats on your second LD. |
| Apr 23 20:31:00 | 2m 00s | Shpadoinkle | The windows link loops back to this page? |
| Apr 23 20:54:00 | 23m 00s | Splitter Critters | Really fantastic. I haven't seen anything like this before, and really really liked it. |
| Apr 24 05:35:00 | 8h 41m | windowframe | Fantastic mechanics to implement the theme. I found the keyboard tough to use with the double jumping and trying to coordinate my stakes, but still really enjoyed this one. Nice as always... |
| Apr 24 05:42:00 | 7m 00s | Mountain | Very original entry. Top marks for innovation for sure. Nice job. |
| Apr 24 05:50:00 | 8m 00s | HEXCORP- The Shape People | Nice twist. I had already started to rebel with my shape drawing so it was fairly satisfying. Nice job. |
| Apr 24 14:03:00 | 8h 13m | SHAPE.SHIFT() | Cool idea. Definitely need more time between the walls, especially at the start of the game when you're learning and certainly when you have to switch shapes and hammer on the up key to go from the bottom to the top. Aside from that though, the theme is essential to the gameplay, which I really like, and the graphics are really cool. Nice job. |
| Apr 24 14:09:00 | 6m 00s | Shape-Shifto: The Reckoning | Nice idea. Would be good if the character colours were more distinct (I'm assuming I couldn't figure out which I could absorb due to some colour-blindness... until I let myself get hit by some). Really like the idea of colour shifting to absorb shots. You could do some bullet hell type patterns which would be fun. Nice job. |
| Apr 24 14:15:00 | 6m 00s | Abs 'n' Ads | Neat idea. Didn't realize it was a rhythm game at first, so nice idea. I couldn't clearly see what I was selecting after I selected a body part. Not sure if that had an effect on gameplay. The photo at the end was really funny. Nice job. |
| Apr 24 14:22:00 | 7m 00s | Land of the Dead | I like the idea behind it, but found it challenging to not run out of time. Graphics really remind me of ghouls n ghosts (which is a good thing). Definitely need a restart key, although fortunately the executable is small enough that restarting the exe is fast. Nice job. |
| Apr 24 14:34:00 | 12m 00s | buki buki! | Very nice job. Gorgeous graphics and great sound. Very on theme. I didn't find a good use for the shield as opposed to just running away though. |
| Apr 24 18:54:00 | 4h 20m | Zen and the Art of Transhumanism | Great game. Pressing the buttons was a little frustrating because sometimes it would double register and skip right past the design or tool I wanted, but aside from that it was really cool. Love the graphical style and the sly humour. Very nice job. |
| Apr 24 19:01:00 | 7m 00s | I'm Scree! | Excellent game. Great ramp up of levels, great humour. Really well done. |
| Apr 25 04:36:00 | 9h 35m | Changeling Infiltration Simulator | Really loved this little puzzle game. Very on theme. Great escalation of puzzles. Only issue was distinguishing 2 of the colours (gold & green?) for a colour-blind person such as myself. |
| Apr 25 12:55:00 | 8h 19m | Kitsune | Gorgeous graphics and music. Seems very tough to coordinate dodging, collecting the good stuff from the sky, and choosing which altar to sacrifice. But I still like it. Would be nice to have some kind of progress feedback. Very nice job. |
| Apr 26 02:21:00 | 13h 26m | Parts Needed | Thought it was interesting how you built up your body. Cool atmosphere. The world was quite large and empty to move around in though, so although I spent a fair bit of time exploring, I don't know how much I missed (ending #4, sadly). Also could use a few more hints / direct feedback (I'm guessing the circles were good and the x's bad but couldn't really prove it). Nice start overall. |
| Apr 26 02:30:00 | 9m 00s | Enkid | Beautiful art and great animation. It really gave the creature some personality. Love the colour choices for background (blue-green) and foreground (red-yellow). Control felt good too. Think you could probably compact the second stage quite a bit, as it gets pretty repetitive basic platforming. Nice job overall. |
| Apr 26 14:19:00 | 11h 49m | SPELLDOWN! | Fantastic graphics. I should've pulled out my stylus and touch screen, but it worked pretty well with the mouse. Would love to see variety in the shapes you trace, and clearer feedback on how much you got/missed for a particular trace, but for a Jam game this is a wonderful entry. |
| Apr 27 01:57:00 | 11h 38m | Through Oneself | Neat idea. Great accomplishment getting this innovative tech done for the Jam. |
| Apr 27 03:07:00 | 1h 10m | Shape Drift | Very nicely done. Got 600 on my best run. I thought the speed ramping was done really well. Clean graphics. Simple, but very well executed. |
| Apr 27 04:34:00 | 1h 27m | Reptilian President | Was very confused for a long time. Didn't realize I had to hold space, not just push it. After that, I saw it was a rather neat concept. Would be interesting to be able to have some reason to use the lizard form rather than just a failure condition that I carefully avoided. Nice job. |
| Apr 27 04:52:00 | 18m 00s | Inner Maze | Very innovative idea, and very nice way of incorporating the theme. Well done. |
| Apr 28 02:19:00 | 21h 27m | SPY | Neat little stealth game. Definitely could use a warmup level to get the hang of things, but after I had died a few times it was pretty cool. Nice job. |
| Apr 28 05:39:00 | 3h 20m | Mimicry | Hilarious sounds and on-theme gameplay. I had a good time playing this. Very nicely done. |
| Apr 30 04:25:00 | 46h 46m | Shapeshift Racer | Gorgeous graphics. Good control responsiveness for the vehicle. Nice job. |
| Apr 30 04:29:00 | 4m 00s | Shift! | Good implementation of the theme, although I found that my playstyle didn't change very much based on my form. Clear graphics and fun soundtrack. Nice job. |
| Apr 30 05:23:00 | 54m 00s | Blobs | Very good thematic idea for a physics puzzler. I got to level 14 and got frustrated by missing some precise jumps. The rectangular shapeshift is also prone to frustration because its width seems to be dependent on the available space at the time of switching. All that said, quite enjoyable. Very nice job. Would love to see a walkthrough of all the levels. |
| Apr 30 18:10:00 | 12h 47m | SLAM_SHIFT | Really cool game. Difficult as hell, and I really don't think I needed the added pressure of the time limit. It confused me when I spontaneously died immediately after restarting the checkpoint. Could also use an indicator of which way you're "facing" when in ball mode so that you can get ready to accelerate or not when reverting to ship mode. Probably don't need to restart the music on every death. I feel like I heard the first 2 seconds about 50 times. :-) Love the minimalistic graphics (the trail in particular). Great job with the theme: both modes are required and play differently. Overall, I had a good amount of fun and really like this entry. |
