| Apr 20 14:13:00 | The Glowy Thing | Really cool game ! Coherent from start to finish with a really fitting mood. The controls are easy enough to figure out and overall the game mechanics are understandable easily without much help needed.
The enemies are challenging without being unfair, though I had trouble figuring out that light didn't do anything to them.
All the levels are feasible and challenging without being too difficult and they are appropriately progressive.
Great job overall, even though apart from the lighting effects, the graphics are a bit dull. | |
| Apr 20 14:37:00 | 24m 00s | Nano VS Bot | Overall a pretty good game but there are a few issues that make playing past the first boss a bit too difficult, but I'm sure they are small issues to fix.
The main problem is that levels are not reset correctly are thus in some configurations it becomes impossible to catch a moving line without exiting the line (I gave up after spending 15 minutes on 2.6 unfortunately) which is thus unfair and can irritate the player.
For the levels, you can figure out easily what each thing does which is good. One of the problem is the amount of requirement to complete a level : get all the keys, have > 80% and not exiting the line more than a given number of times. It makes it hard to keep track of everything. Maybe having some levels with or without some requirements would have been nice.
The boss fight is pretty cool, but I'm wondering if it was really necessary. I mean I know you love including bosses in your games but because of that, you introduced a dmg/def up/down mechanics in the level that the player won't really understand before he has fought a boss, which is a bit counter intuitive.
Graphics-wise, the simplicity and juiciness of the top part of the screen is not too coherent with the more classical and detailed bottom part. But I guess it's just a matter of taste.
Sounds-wise, everything is good, and I like that you did some sounds with your voice.
Once refined and simplified a little bit, it would make a great game for tablets and smartphones! |
| Apr 20 16:55:00 | 2h 18m | Avian Days | Pretty good game, definitely a solid entry. The graphics, the mood and the audio are very coherent. The game is indeed quite hard. I like that we're not too guided but we have the necessary information to play.
Level design-wise, there are a few problems, mainly jumps that are quite difficult to achieve (sometimes when you have a wall above you).
I like the somewhat open-worldness.
I didn't get to the end unfortunately, some parts are really frustrating, but maybe I'm just bad.
Really good entry anyway! :) |
| Apr 20 17:16:00 | 21m 00s | Calling Mr. Blacksmith | Good game in its genre. A bit hard to handle at first but once you get used to it it's really easy to play. The crafting mechanics are fun. I didn't get to the end though, only to the 6th level. :/ |
| Apr 20 17:22:00 | 6m 00s | Happy ! | Nice and simple game! The idea is really good. The graphics are simple but extremely polished and coherent, and I like that a lot. :D
There may be a little bit too many enemies spawning too quickly though, but that makes for a good challenge! |
| Apr 20 17:27:00 | 5m 00s | You're Toast | Pretty fun games, but I like broccolis, why should i kill them. :( ^^
Anyway the graphics are really nice and the controls really smooths. The only annoying thing is that you can't go backwards, which make avoiding enemies a bit tricky. Also the overall view is a bit limited so you can only see the enemies at the last moment. Maybe increasing the field of view would have been a good idea.
Good game though, and the jam toast and broccolis are definitely not conventional. ^^ |
| Apr 20 17:37:00 | 10m 00s | Deadly rain | Really nice and sad mood and interpretation of the theme.
It's definitely hard trying not to get hit by the fire particles from the missile. |
| Apr 20 18:19:00 | 42m 00s | The Reviewer | Really nice atmosphere. You very quickly feel overwhelm by all the stuff you have to do, it's extremely effective in that sense. It made me want to play Paper Please. :)
I like that it's not too long too, but just long enough to introduce all the game mechanics and to make you want to kill this damn virtual boss. ^^ |
| Apr 20 18:28:00 | 9m 00s | Bomb parts | Looks good, plays well, this is definitely a solid entry. The music is slightly annoying though. Being able to mute it would have been enjoyable. It's quite challenging but not frustrating. Good job! |
| Apr 20 18:45:00 | 17m 00s | The AFK47 | The physics of the objects launched by the weapon is a bit off sometimes but the objects you throw are quite funny. I was a bit annoyed when I saw that I couldn't come back from the last room to get the laptop I had skipped, so I couldn't finish the game unfortunately. :(
However climbing on the ceiling was really fun!
Pretty good game overall. |
| Apr 20 18:53:00 | 8m 00s | Planet Crush | Yay I got 10800 points or so. \o/ Simple game but works well. I do agree with what uvwar said, it would have been nice if the movements were not so "static". |
| Apr 20 19:00:00 | 7m 00s | Moss | Really really nice mood! The graphics are gorgeous and the atmosphere is captivating. It's definitely not a conventional game but a fun game to toy with. The physics is a bit glitchy and I have not figured out how to change the direction I'm looking to, if there is any way to do so. I would love to see this extended into a game when spreading this moss becomes a mechanic! |
| Apr 20 19:06:00 | 6m 00s | Ants | Really good concept and interpretation of the theme! This "real life event" of yours must have been damn funny.
The music fits well too.
It would be interesting to extend the game with a way to make the ants behave not so randomly, like find a way to attract them to some extent.
Good entry! :) |
| Apr 20 19:12:00 | 6m 00s | It's dangerous to go alone... | This game is quite fun. However it's a bit difficult to have the travelers go where you want. The graphics look childish at first but they are very coherent and very fitting with the mood of the game, so great work on that! |
| Apr 20 19:20:00 | 8m 00s | Decrepit Lord of Charge | The game mechanics are really interesting! Your game is extremely well polished and the mood and graphics are perfect. Extremely solid entry! Funnily enough, I has a similar idea about attraction and repulsion but I used magnetic energy and a mobile device. ;) |
| Apr 20 19:32:00 | 12m 00s | Robot Restores Nature | Really beautiful game! However in its current state, the music doesn't quite reflect what is happening on the screen. I would love to see a finished version of the game, with the robots you were talking about, given how it already looks, I guess it would be a really fun game. |
| Apr 20 19:46:00 | 14m 00s | Haven't a Clue | Well that was not easy but I got one third of the solution at least. :D The story is very well written and it is not easy at all to find the culprit. Good job! |
| Apr 20 19:56:00 | 10m 00s | Free Samples | The game mechanics are really interesting, but it is really hard to succeed because of how many people there are at once on the screen. Otherwise it would have been a really fun game I guess. |
| Apr 21 22:05:00 | 26h 09m | The Very Literal Fall Of Atlantis | Very cool game! The game mechanic is really original and "stressful" as you say. ^^ The graphics are extremely polished and so is the music. Great mood overall. It would make for a really great mobile game. |
| Apr 21 22:17:00 | 12m 00s | Iridescent | Really really solid entry. The mechanics are easily understandable without much explanations. The graphics are extremely nice and polished and it's not too long or too short to test it fully. The physics is just a bit slow which can be annoying at times. Other than that great game! |
| Apr 21 22:25:00 | 8m 00s | Apocalyptia | The graphics and lighting look nice, so does the character animation. The physics works well except for the zombie's hitbox that is a bit too tall so you can get hit by jumping from a ledge where there is a zombie beneath. |
| Apr 21 22:31:00 | 6m 00s | Out Of Mind | Really nice game! The mechanics are simple but very attractive. It's a really nice and dark interpretation of the theme. I like it a lot. The graphics are also very nice and moody. I have to admit it's a bit freaky. ^^ I was just wondering if it was normal that the HUD with the instructions wouldn't disappear. Also you get lost quite easily, but that's kind of the point a guess. Great work! |
| Apr 21 22:37:00 | 6m 00s | Light'em Up | Interesting game! Fighting with light it really fun! :D It would've been nice to be able to see how much life is left on the zombies though. Nice job! |
| Apr 21 22:51:00 | 14m 00s | Crossy Hell | I had way too much fun slaying cute little creatures, I feel like a monster now. :D Great job man! The graphics are really polished and coherent, and the audio is really nice too. |
| Apr 21 23:08:00 | 17m 00s | BitGun | Really cool game mechanic! The physics is smooth and works well. The mood is really coherent and the graphics are really well done. The only problem I think is that the viewport is a bit too small so it's a bit hard to see where to go sometimes. Other than that good job. |
| Apr 21 23:18:00 | 10m 00s | luddegodofpain | Wow that was so funny I completely lost my sh*t playing it. ^^ Great job! The physics are really derpy and it's really hard to play but it's hilarious. Great job on that. The music is also really cool! |
| Apr 24 13:17:00 | 61h 59m | Treasure of the Hellbeast | Pretty nice game. I like the graphics a lot. The controls are very smooth. More variety in the gameplay would have been nice though. Also it's sometimes difficult to see the enemies when they are behind a wall. |
| Apr 24 13:39:00 | 22m 00s | Holokitten | Very funny game! Simple but effective. The graphics are very nice and polished and the physics really smooth. I like the controls configuration thing at the beginning. It's a really nice idea to make sure everybody can play without changing their keyboard layout. |
| Apr 24 13:55:00 | 16m 00s | Nail Gun Hero | Very nice game. It's quite challenging. The game mechanic is really fun and fits perfectly in the theme. The retro/glitchy-like graphics a quite fitting too. Overall very good job! |
| Apr 27 17:35:00 | 75h 40m | Pizza Panic | I feel like the game has a lot of potential that you didn't fully exploit. For example you have played a sound everytime we caught a pizza, or you could have synchronized the pizzas with the music, because i found it difficult to keep the rythm at which the pizzas arrive when the tempo of the music is different. Other than that it's a pretty good entry. |
| Apr 27 17:47:00 | 12m 00s | Battle Isle | Really good strategy game! Kept me playing a long time. Unfortunately I ended running out of food. :/
I really liked how the music changes when the opponents start attacking. The AI are quite hard to beat but with some more time playing it may be feasible. ^^ |
| Apr 27 18:01:00 | 14m 00s | Codename "Potato" | I had a lot of fun playing this games. The only annoying thing is the floaty controls. It's like there is little to no gravity. Other than that it's a really cool game. Good job. |
| Apr 27 18:15:00 | 14m 00s | Null Chroma | Really nice interpretation of the theme. The game is smooth and really fun to play. Great job! |
| Apr 27 18:29:00 | 14m 00s | Wellbeing | Well, that was simply great! The mechanics are simple but make for some quite challenging puzzles. The story is coherent and the music gorgeous. Great work! |
