| Apr 21 17:21:00 | Big Man Moai | Neat idea. But as you already know the lack of progression is really hurting the game. I think it would become really interesting to see how it would play with escalating difficulty. As it is now, there is very little challenge even if I pretend that I die by hitting something :]

And to everyone who tries to play the game:
Download the "LD32-Distrib.zip" to play. It was a bit unclear to me and I downloaded the whole project. | |
| Apr 21 17:35:00 | 14m 00s | Rainyblow Bash | Weird as fuck, but fun. There are more enemies in the desktop version? Ouch!

The beginning is a bit too much for my taste, I just wanted to test the controls and suddenly they were all over me :D Jumping is bit weird and I depleted the boss health with no effect three times than I gave up.

What I missed was a possibility to evade attacks. You are pretty helpless and shooting really isn't enough, so one is bound to lose health, which is a bit frustrating. And as you can't defend otherwise, I think the only strategy that is wise, is to hold the fire button permanently. Maybe you could have added a little more conflict/ a decision there.

Anyway, nice job. |
| Apr 21 21:12:00 | 3h 37m | Weapon Shortage | Crafted the Bananay Banana of Bananaing 10/10

Anyways, very nice twist to the theme. Crafting was interesting, however, it would have been nice to get more knowledge if and how the stats change.

Combat was a bit flawed (it is hard, to determine the striking range of the enemy and avoid being hit), but hitting opponents with my banana sword is still rewarding. And the AI is quite good. |
| Apr 21 21:21:00 | 9m 00s | Abyssinum | Very cool idea, I liked the abstract style and the mood.

Getting in my head which color turned which cog while watching one gate after the other rushing towards me was a bit overwhelming.

Spamming is indeed very successful and was my response after failing multiple times. I think, I would have preferred a slower pace for the gates and faster enemies, but it was still pretty fun. |
| Apr 21 21:40:00 | 19m 00s | Kitten | Level design was neat, although I was stuck like forever after obtaining the second ball. I didn't get the concept of doing one shot, then pausing and doing another. But maybe I was just stupid there :D

Other than that it was interesting to play around with, but you could really have a smaller dead zone for the camera movement, I had to do several jumps of faith. And more checkpoints would have been nice |
| Apr 21 21:51:00 | 11m 00s | Girl from the north country | I really like the story and how the text unfolded. I checked through it again and I think I got a hang on your theme. Remembering the person you lost in a good spirit, living in the here and now and as you state at the beginning, stopping all the ruminations. Good message.

If I had to criticize one thing it would be that the ending is always the same, I think, a bit of variety would have given some decisions better closure :] |
| Apr 21 22:01:00 | 10m 00s | Stasche | Nice, weird game. Aiming was a bit hard and I didn't really understand why you have to put the mustache in your hand first (aside from the comedic effet), but I really had fun evading all these wimpies |
| Apr 21 22:04:00 | 3m 00s | Je Suis Charlie | Je Suis Charlie! |
| Apr 21 22:13:00 | 9m 00s | Trojan Horse Simulator: The Art of Subterfuge | Lovely idea. And fun to play.

Cool, that it is random generated , although sometimes I had areas that didn't seem beatable.

I know the delayed control of the horse through the greeks inside is the point, but, for me, it was very hard to react to incoming dangers. Maybe a camera that was further away would have helped |
| Apr 21 22:22:00 | 9m 00s | Crossy Hell | Nice!

Really liked the way you introduced new enemy types to the mix. Also, it took only seconds to grasp the concept. Good flow.

I don't know much about Crossy Roads, but I think you captured that art style very good.

(Btw: 125 points without spamming(only when I panicked for a moment :D)) |
| Apr 21 22:29:00 | 7m 00s | THE CLAW | Nice mechanic! Really interesting to handle. First for grabbing an enemy and second for shooting it behind enemies and than adjusting the altitude to hit them in their backs.

The difficulty escalated a bit too quickly for my taste, but I'm shitty at SHMUPS.

Btw: I can't be the only one, who said the title with the voice of the aliens in Toy Story :D |
| Apr 21 22:40:00 | 11m 00s | Bloomp Purple | The egg-laying, milk-bearing woolly sow of weapons!

Fun puzzles, although I think some items could have used a slower introduction. Using combinations of items in short succession was the point where the game really began to shine. |
| Apr 23 12:45:00 | 38h 05m | Surpent | Cool art-style, clever mechanic that is interesting to use (although I have a hard time to see the connection to the theme) and some nice levels, only the controls could be more responsive. |
| Apr 23 13:04:00 | 19m 00s | Character Assassination | Very funny twist on the theme. Really like the build-up of insult chains and his reaction when it all came together. Maybe you could have made it a bit clearer which words are combo finishers and which words add to the chain. |
| Apr 23 13:14:00 | 10m 00s | Bass.Drop(); | What CamRFWhite says. And it is a bit hard to connect the gameplay to the theme for me. But I really liked the audience and the music. |
| Apr 23 13:30:00 | 16m 00s | Killing Light | Really liked the tone and setting, being some kind of creature.
But the controls didn't work for me and I had to give up in the second level, because it became to frustrating (using Z to move forward, and q and d for sideways movement and then looking around with the mouse? Seems like it shouldn't be like this) |
| Apr 24 11:50:00 | 22h 20m | Fat guy with floating tyre | Weird. But I have a thing for this snotty art style.

As you said, there could have been more effort in the programming. I gave up after getting stuck for the fourth time. And an explanation of the controls in-game could have helped.

Hope more people got the reference to the Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon. Nice :D |
| Apr 24 11:56:00 | 6m 00s | Limbs | I think you did very good on the feedback part. I agree that more variety could have helped, it got boring a little too fast. |
| Apr 24 12:03:00 | 7m 00s | Soccer Punch | Haha, I used the soccer ball as a weapon for my game too.

It feels very great to dash around and hit the ball. Overall very good feedback. As others said a lose condition would have been great to add a bit of conflict.

And there is a dominant strategy, you should get rid of if you expand on this game. Spamming the ball down in the right corner and then spamming mouse-click.

Still, one of my favorites so far. |
| Apr 24 12:10:00 | 7m 00s | Dollheart | It works on Chrome, too.

Too bad, that you couldn't expand on the idea, but it is a big idea after all :D Cool engine though. |
| Apr 24 12:13:00 | 3m 00s | Love is a Weapon | Too ambiguous, defeated two robots but don't know how. Needs more explanation, though I like the basic idea. |
| Apr 24 12:18:00 | 5m 00s | Uncoinventional | Oh no, I used a pun to talk to the cute muscle girl. Bad way to start a conversation. Minimalistic, but humorous |
| Apr 24 17:21:00 | 5h 03m | Gun Gun Evolution | Good feedback, although it was maybe a bit too much. Enemies could have been more challenging, but I really liked the chaos that unfolded after I had several upgrades. |
| Apr 25 10:27:00 | 17h 06m | Cheeseburger (in Paradise) | Holy shit! |
| Apr 25 10:36:00 | 9m 00s | KNIGHT | Great idea. From my perspective it could be more dynamic and faster overall. Fighting against solo enemies wasn't too interesting, as soon as more came up, it was more exciting.
Kudos for your own art style :] |
| Apr 26 10:59:00 | 24h 23m | GraviGone | Nice mechanic. Felt that repeating parts of the puzzle was a bit punishing when you made a mistake, think you don't need those things to fill the playtime. Also, while aiming and walking with the same input is more accessible, it is also a bit annoying when you stand on a platform and fall down while aiming. I enjoyed it, though :] |
| Apr 28 16:09:00 | 53h 10m | Confess-O-Matic | loved the music and the use of the medieval pictures. combining pictures was a bit slow going at first, but then it somehow picked up pace. special idea, so not much room to complain here :D |
| Apr 30 09:42:00 | 41h 33m | Cupid's arrows | Love the idea (haha) and how you setup the puzzles. Needed a little bit to grasp the vision of the guards. Really would have liked to see more content :] |
| May 1 14:47:00 | 29h 05m | Empty Promises | Best setting I've seen so far :D It was a bit easy to get stuck on walls, I would have liked a more open environment and more of a challenge/a higher pace. But nonetheless, I had a litte smile on my face while playing. |
