Aug 26 18:19:00 CubePocalypse Looks and sounds very good, excellent work for 48 hours. I think the gameplay needs a little more work though. I couldn't figure out what the timer does, and being hit by a meteor seems random. Also, I found it rather hard to climb the hills.
Aug 26 18:32:00 13m 00s Hurry Up Fool I completed it. Nice game with solid platform mechanics and good graphics. I'd like to see more levels! I first thought you had to control both characters at once to complete a level within the time limit, but it was in every case possible to control the top character first, then the bottom one. How about creating more incentive to control both characters at once?
Aug 26 18:51:00 19m 00s Time War Good fun! The time limit is balanced so as to keep you on the edge of your seat. Only the powerup drops are a little too random, in some cases you don't get any powerup in the entire level.
Aug 26 19:06:00 15m 00s The Life Countdown Nice finished-looking game, only way too easy, at least in the first 10 levels. There is so much food that there is no point to the time limit, and do I really need 27 lives? At around level 10 the game started slowing down and the sounds started looping and glitching (not sure if it's a bug in the game), so I stopped playing. It would also be nice to have more graphical variety in the levels, even if just different colours.
Aug 26 19:14:00 8m 00s DemoPhobia I find the idea that you have to figure out which character you control interesting.
Aug 26 21:12:00 1h 58m Viral Attack Atmospheric and good-looking game, only the controls are frustrating. Sometimes nothing happens when I attack the red cell.
Aug 26 21:20:00 8m 00s Die very very fucking Hard Great graphics and overall presentation. Shooting is difficult though, I can't always seem to shoot in the direction I want.
Aug 26 21:32:00 12m 00s SUPER ULTRA REALISTIC BOMB DEFUSAL SIMULATOR: SEASON PASS GOTY DLC EDITION Interesting presentation. I'm surprised it's so effective.
Aug 26 22:05:00 33m 00s Graviteer Excellent work! Good old-fashioned arcade action, well polished and balanced. Minor gripe: the black on black in the web version makes it harder to see walls coming from the sides.
Aug 26 22:40:00 35m 00s The Value of Time Excellent idea, the replay mechanic. I got stuck at level 8 though.
Aug 27 16:08:00 17h 28m Seconds of Light Pretty solid dungeon crawler. Could be great with more content. In some cases, enemies get stuck in the narrow tunnels, and there seems to be no way to get past them.
Aug 27 20:36:00 4h 28m Divide and bounce Great idea! I am surprised it is possible to manoever multiple blobs with this control scheme. Unfortunately there is little incentive to keep multiple blobs alive. In fact, in order to get the lowest death rate, it's best to kill off each spawn as soon as it appears.
Aug 27 21:01:00 25m 00s Ten Seconds To Live You turned the theme into a very nice plot! Altogether very well presented. I'd prefer to have just the spacebar instead of spacebar and ctrl. Also I seem to lose keyboard focus sometimes, so I have to click on the scenery to be able to move the character again.
Aug 27 21:23:00 22m 00s Fast Food Gourmet Ninja Doesn't run on my win7 64bit machine. I get error 0xc000007b immediately.
Aug 27 21:27:00 4m 00s bombDabomb Link is broken. I managed to get a file ftp://ftp.untergrund.net/users/optimus/gamedev/ld27/bombDaBombFinal.zip, but it doesn't seem to contain a binary.
Aug 27 21:56:00 29m 00s There's A Hook The game is great until it turns upside down, after which some levels become too frustrating, and you have to wait for ages to turn back to normal.
Aug 28 20:23:00 22h 27m Droplet You made quite an atmospheric game within 48 hours. I did not find the levels too difficult. A bit more graphical variety would further increase its sightseeing appeal, even if just different background-wall tiles for each level. The collision needs to be tighter. The music became grating after awhile.
Aug 28 20:32:00 9m 00s 10 Second Sushi I particularly love the sound and music in this game. The animations are a little floaty.
Aug 29 20:25:00 23h 53m Ten Seconds of Thrust Great to see someone else make graphics with my sprite generator. Your game looks good and plays well, though it could use a little more challenge. It appears almost everything is procedurally generated, I like that.
Aug 29 20:37:00 12m 00s The Adventures of Lars Well presented, the minigames are a nice idea. The game just needs more levels and a couple less bugs :-)
Aug 29 20:59:00 22m 00s I only need ten more seconds I like the concept! Clever use of the theme.
Aug 29 21:17:00 18m 00s V229 Great graphical effects! The game looks and sounds good. But, what is the goal? I kept running around, only to find that everything seems to respawn.
Aug 29 21:42:00 25m 00s One Hundred in One The minigames are nice, it would be great to see more of them.
Sep 6 09:02:00 179h 20m Hurry UP! Great graphics and sound! The game plays well but is a bit limited. Why do the trees in the background move faster than the foreground, rather than slower? Visually it doesn't make sense to me.
Sep 6 10:20:00 1h 18m Wrath of God I'm looking for games with the theme "destroy everything in 10 seconds" (which was my interpretation of the LD theme), and this fits the bill perfectly.

As is, most things about the game are great, only it needs more balancing. It's too easy, the meteors are too powerful and the floods hardly seem to do anything. I like figuring out the different gestures, but preferably not within a 10 second time limit.

How about having only certain disasters available in each level, or having a limited number of each available? As is, I just go for the meteor because it's the easiest.
Sep 6 11:37:00 1h 17m Asteroids - Incoming 10 Seconds A nice little game. Sound is rather minimal. It should be easy to add a couple more sfxr sounds. I think that having more rapid firing bullets would increase the fun. When reloading after game over I had to wait for a long time for the resources to reload, for some reason.
Sep 6 22:40:00 11h 03m Guradamajack! Aha, another "kill everything in 10 seconds" game! Great game, full featured and polished. I got stuck at level 20 or so, I just don't seem to have enough bullets to kill all zombies.
Sep 8 12:24:00 37h 44m Time Slime Arena The game feels very complete. The items and the left-right click control scheme work well, although I did get a sore finger from too much clicking at some point. This would be even greater with multiple levels (say, you enter a new room after level 40).
Sep 14 22:58:00 154h 34m 10 second test I always love programming games, and using timing in this way is a novel idea. Very instructive for explaining a traditional microcode architecture. The biggest problem game-wise is that timing alone limits the kinds of challenges you can have. Adding sensors for example makes for more complex challenges. The game runs rather slow on my firefox, about 5fps, which is a bit annoying.
Sep 14 23:13:00 15m 00s Space Sweeper Those look like procedurally generated ships! Nice shooter, though it could do with more varied enemy behaviour.
Sep 16 17:21:00 42h 08m Reassessment Solid and finished looking game. Quite complex and interesting mechanics. I played it a number of times but couldn't quite get the hang of it though. But this could be great with some easier levels!
Sep 16 20:57:00 3h 36m Sixths Interesting art style and music. Very effective. Didn't understand why you have to wait 10 sec every 20 sec though. Also, it would be nice if you hide the mouse cursor.
Sep 16 21:26:00 29m 00s Hoard Frenzy This is a nice take on PvZ, something I haven't seen before here. Very enoyable. Imo there is one frustrating flaw, which is that it's so hard to see in which spot you have to place a gun in order to hit a zombie. But that should be quite easy to fix :-)
Sep 16 21:46:00 20m 00s This is Tio A good take on the theme. The game looks and plays well, only the collision seems a bit dodgy.
Sep 16 22:14:00 28m 00s Tower To The Sun The story that the game tells is interesting, and is a good take on the 10 seconds theme. I can even interpret the game's repetitiveness as part of the story (have patience), but I think a little more depth to the game could make the story more compelling.
