Apr 30 05:41:00 Fortuitous Graphics are good. Controls feel a bit clunky at first, though if you get the hang of it, the air time is pretty darn cool. Gameplay is cool, but it can be hit or miss --- three of us played the game, and it took awhile to get used to the controls. One of us kinda gave up early on because of the jumping mechanic. Music is just right.
Overall, a good game. :D
Apr 30 13:15:00 7h 34m Beyond Minimalism Amazing game! You're right, the theme and graphical style of your game is really much like ours, albeit you did much, much better in terms of graphics and music. XD

The added humor and surprises were great! And I love the ending, man -- it caught me off guard!

The sight of nature is indeed wonderful to behold. Great game! :)
Apr 30 13:20:00 5m 00s Square Wars Add in more UI, guides, and a smashing soundtrack, and this game is gonna be real good! Excited to see future versions of this game! Keep it up :)
Apr 30 13:52:00 32m 00s Inverted The concept is good, execution can do a bit more work, especially on the consistency of the lava and water bits (got a bit confused there D:). The invert was cool, the music reacting to it was cool too, and the pacing of the levels (like how later levels built on the previous ones, albeit with the invert skill) was cool. :D

As with the others, it felt a bit too easy. I think that's because it's too short. :'D But still, great game! :)
Apr 30 15:16:00 1h 24m Keep up the rhythm Very simple -- cathartic even -- and fun. Very fun. :D The beat is simple, yet addicting. I played waaay longer than I expected haha XD

More UI (but not too much) would be a plus, such as displaying the time remaining. :)
May 1 02:06:00 10h 50m Minimalism : Find the red Cube I enjoyed playing the game. It was hard at first though but you manage to see the path if that "side" of the light isn't cut off. I sometimes get lost in the middle tho lol. Try to add more elements the next time you continue this! I also enjoyed the music. Great game man
May 1 02:28:00 22m 00s Bird's Eyes LOL at the thumbnail first of all. simple game but the music made me play further. same with other comments weird music but still good :D i also liked how you make that creature flap 3 times to play :D
May 1 02:40:00 12m 00s Bladeless First thing i noticed was the art! cool art and very smooth movements for the characters in the game. i had a hard time timing the buttons tho but still good enough! i'll continue on playing this. Great game!
May 1 02:47:00 7m 00s One Blocky Room art is great (given this minimalist theme). music sounded creepy to me lol but it's good! enjoyed the puzzle man you should make more. Great game!
May 1 02:56:00 9m 00s Gallery Great game! i like the puzzles and the feel of the game. also the variations of the levels is very clever! very interesting to play! awesome game man!
May 1 03:09:00 13m 00s LOOP cool thing you did there where the elements react to the player especially the leaves when you pass through them! i enjoyed the music too! game play is fine for me but im most curious on the story. i'm still not finished but i will soon enough :D Great game!
May 1 03:17:00 8m 00s Continuus i got one part of the game as of now lol. there's something in the game that makes me want to understand the game more. i like the music it's very relaxing to hear. Great game!
May 1 03:37:00 20m 00s Super Rope Dungeon only had a problem when you stop upon casting the rope lol :D:D:D but still i loved how game was made also the lighting is pretty neat. music is also cool adding to the feel. Great game!
May 1 04:08:00 31m 00s Minimalist MAYHEM Awesome game!!! I liked everything here man. The starting music was very catchy too. I think the spraypaint was op tho :D and bazooka is up (underpowered? :D) lol. Very addictive game. Best i played so far. Awesomely great game!!!
May 1 04:16:00 8m 00s Lethal Blow very smooth and cute art! :D also liked the music. mechanics simple enough that it makes me want to play more and the game is hard enough that it makes me want to play more. in short it wants to make me play more :D add more mechanics too btw! Great game!
May 1 08:19:00 4h 03m Babel I had issues running the game (Win7 32 bit, JRE 7 Update 21), but after running a few times, it worked. :'D I realized what I was doing, though -- it seems clicking on the screen makes the game unresponsive. I ran the game several times, and each time, the game hanged when you click on it, no matter which click you used (right click, left click, middle click). I hope this helps in your debugging. :)

As with the others, wonderful choice of colors! For me, it had a sort of empty, creepy feel to it, as well as implying a desert-like theme.

I understood the turn-based style of movement, but I would have loved it if there was less wait time when you held down a movement button, and if you made the repetition less quick. I was either pressing on the arrows repeatedly, tiring myself out, or I was holding down the arrow keys, only to suddenly let go because I was turning too fast or going forward way too fast.

The battle system was okay, and I eventually understood how it works (thanks through the description above too :) ), though it would have been better if the game showed which attack the enemy chose.

The sound on the battles seemed to have bugged on me, though -- it seemed the sound effects were cut just as they started playing. I'm not sure if this was intended, but I found it strange, especially because the first time the sound effects played, it sounded longer and more complete. O_O

And my playthrough seemed weird -- after dying once, I replayed the game, killed one enemy, and got 600 atk and def. Is it part of the randomness? :O (I still died on a battle though LOL)

Still, looking forward on what you'd be doing with this. Cheers! :D

--kazukishida
May 1 08:46:00 27m 00s Nothing Left The game screams good use of minimalism.

I loved the game, its simple, yet refined, graphical style, and the procedural enemies. As with the others, the random generation makes for some interesting patterns and gameplay.

I would have loved it better if you could control the player using the keyboard, though. I couldn't do the maneuvers I wanted to execute due to the (over?) sensitivity of the mouse. D:
I guess I'm just more used to controlling players in bullet-hell-esque games with the keyboard, though, so take this with a grain of salt.

Also, I tried running the Windows 32-bit version of the game, but nothing happened when I ran it. :O javaw.exe runs, but nothing seems to happen after about 30 seconds. I'm on Win7 32bit with JRE 7 Update 21.
May 1 08:47:00 1m 00s Skware I can't play the game. :( It seems it's for 64 bit systems only? I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit. D:
May 1 11:01:00 2h 14m The Minimalizer Oh god that was hard. DX The controls felt too fast/responsive, and man it's just hard. XD

It seems the turrets spawn in random locations? Because hot damn two of them spawned near an exit and it was near damn impossible to get through T_T

(EDIT: it seemed I was going the wrong way the whole time WTF XD)

But the good art, the wonderful music, and the absolutely hilarious dialogue make up for the difficulty. It was short, but sweet. I think I'd play this if you refine it and keep up the gold humor. And the music, keep that up! Add some sfx and you've got it :)

Also, I should mention that when you hold the jump key on a ladder, you become the Spiderman and climb like no one has ever climbed before. But given the humor in the game, I won't be surprised if did that on purpose.
May 1 11:13:00 12m 00s The Sentient Cube Great game! Controls were a bit difficult once you got really big, but the art and music were great! The Credits stage was a nice touch too. :)
May 1 11:25:00 12m 00s Refraction I can't run it on my system D: It reports that the LD26NewGame application stopped working, and it reports an APPCRASH. D:

I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit.
May 1 11:38:00 13m 00s Prototype This very strangely moved me much more than I expected. Then I realized that could very much be the essence of minimalism.

I gave you full points on mood and theme. And audio. Wonderful.
May 1 12:36:00 58m 00s Mondrian Click Very simple concept, clean and beautiful execution. I played much longer than I thought I would. The music and sfx were fitting as well. Great game! :D
May 1 12:44:00 8m 00s Auraline I can only imagine what a hair-raising, surreal experience this might be with the Oculus Rift. And yet without one, it's already amazingly immersive. I don't think I'd like to see dark red lines anytime soon. x_x

Amazing game! :D
May 1 13:15:00 31m 00s MinimalFive Maybe it's just me, but I found the mini-games difficult. XD It was immersive and challenging, nonetheless.

And the self awareness of the whole game made for some very nice humor. XD
May 18 12:53:00 407h 38m And Then There Was Silence Graphics were perfect. :D I really had a hard time with the absurdly high jump though. D: I would play it with much more enthusiasm if that were fixed! :D
May 18 12:59:00 6m 00s Be Still The mechanic is so simple, the results very cathartic. Amazing experience.
May 18 14:10:00 1h 11m A Square In A Room Loved it man, it felt like a 2D Devil's Tuning Fork with the awesome visuals (and yet still remains simple and pleasing). The audio was a nice touch as well. I got a bit too frustrated at times with the pixel-accurate collision, though. D: (but that's not really your fault, it's mine haha)

Great game! :D
May 18 14:31:00 21m 00s Expander Deceptively simple, yet lots of fun! I didn't expect the gameplay to be addicting. The color based on whether the block was up or down was a really nice touch as well. The expansion and contraction concept is good, but the incentive of a higher multiplier (from what I understood) for expanding isn't too visual -- perhaps change the way it works?

Nonetheless, this got me hooked! Add in some more catchy music, and possibly an online leaderboard, and you've got quite a game. :D
May 25 14:17:00 167h 46m QbQbQb We were too late in rating, but this was superbly amazing. Especially the music man. Damn.
