| May 1 03:27:00 | Naked Shades | Super interesting project! Surprisingly fun, but really the fact that you created this twine extension in the timeframe of the jam alone is impressive. I hope it catches on! | |
| May 1 07:08:00 | 3h 41m | The Only Rocketeer | Neat game. Interesting concept, and I liked the narrative. The puzzles miiiight have been a little too smart for me, but that's not a bad thing. As others have mentioned, some other gameplay concepts introduced alongside the puzzles might liven things up if you decide to take this project forward from here. |
| May 1 07:18:00 | 10m 00s | Run | I felt like the grabby terrain was the true enemy at times, but the game maintained tension and losing items throughout rather than gaining made for an interesting play experience. Might have been nice to have a level with all items before you start discarding stuff. Also very nice tiles! |
| May 1 07:59:00 | 41m 00s | Colossal Clean-Up | Absolutely wowed. Graphics and music both lent to a very charming atmosphere. Only gripe is getting stuck bumping into stuff on the stairs. |
| May 1 08:21:00 | 22m 00s | Bezier Challenge | Fantastic concept, and very nicely executed. I love the visual feel of the whole experience. |
| May 1 08:35:00 | 14m 00s | Dark Black | Has to be my favorite potato reference so far! Really nice backgrounds too! |
| May 1 08:53:00 | 18m 00s | Gods Will Be Watching | Outstanding game. The graphics somehow felt original but sent me on a total nostalgia trip. The gameplay is kindof like that too, reminds me of Oregon Trail combined with Space Quest and Walden. |
| May 1 09:26:00 | 33m 00s | Fragments of Him | This game made tears in my eyes. My only critique is that while the general tone of the voiceover was quite good, especially considering the constraints of the Dare, it lacked gravity in some pivotal moments. Nonetheless, the writing came through brilliantly in the design and mechanics, like interactive poetry. Not to mention this was one of the best uses of theme I've seen. So yeah, all of that. |
| May 1 09:33:00 | 7m 00s | make a binky | Too funny, and surprisingly entertaining, actually. Excellent use of theme ;) |
| May 1 09:49:00 | 16m 00s | Million Dollar Manbaby | Game mechanic is super original and awesome, and keeps the game interesting even though the combat can get a bit repetitive. Art is fantastic, especially considering the time limitations. Very polished entry! |
| May 2 01:01:00 | 15h 12m | Staring Contest | Fantastic use of theme! Only suggestion is to maybe use video if you go for a larger release? |
| May 2 02:36:00 | 1h 35m | CREPITUS | Like a slowed down super crate box. The enemy health could get annoying, but also made me tense as the game went on. Reloading added to that tension for sure! |
| May 2 03:15:00 | 39m 00s | The Painter's Cat | Wow. Just outstanding. Excellent take on the theme, my favorite "Mondrian" so far, by far. Top marks in every category, it all fit perfect |
| May 2 05:04:00 | 1h 49m | Ping | Fantastic game! Really enjoyed the authenticity of the retro feel. Definitely feels different from just using atari 2600 samples and old graphics, and, given the theme, I thought presentation was damn near perfect on all fronts. |
| May 2 05:09:00 | 5m 00s | Nest | Potato Birds! Also neat game, makes me feel dumb and useless though. I wish there was was a little more empowering game about my babies starving. |
| May 2 05:23:00 | 14m 00s | </3 | I was surprised by how much I got into this, honestly. I think the steep difficulty at the beginning actually helped the game: it was kinda scary trying to hunt out the first few victims, but extremely gratifying seeing more and more of your former tormentors fleeing in tears. Is this a game or a psychological diagnostic? |
| May 2 05:26:00 | 3m 00s | Hyperborea: The Secret of the North | Is there a 32Bit windows version? |
| May 2 05:35:00 | 9m 00s | Ai'n Av Diortem | Cool project! The platforming controls could use a little tightening up but it definitely has the feel of a great game in the making! I really hope it doesn't lose its sense of humor in the finishing process, I'd love to see this character's reaction to losing all his stuffs :) |
| May 2 08:07:00 | 2h 32m | Darwinian Monsters | Very cool idea! I love the puzzles, though I feel they might be a bit too clever for me :P |
| May 2 08:59:00 | 52m 00s | How Can You Even Tell If I'm Just Fucking With You At This Point | I think you are. Also, did you excerpt that readme out of House of Leaves? |
| May 2 09:04:00 | 5m 00s | Lumber Rumble | Nice game! I agree scaling difficulty would be a worthwhile addition, but overall it's very cool! I love the way the gameover and menu are integrated right into the scene so smoothly! |
| May 2 19:08:00 | 10h 04m | Worm War | Really great concept for a game mechanic, reminds me a bit of Farbs' Captain Forever. Hope to see this more fully developed someday! |
| May 3 04:56:00 | 9h 48m | Minimala Jones & The Raiders Of The Lost Art | I really like the perspective/angle thing you did with this, seems like it would be good for creating suspense. If you expanded it a bit this game could be really cool! |
| May 3 07:05:00 | 2h 09m | Equilibria | Clever game concept! Could see a lot of possibilities for this! |
| May 3 20:40:00 | 13h 35m | Minimalistic Dota Clone (+ Osmos) | Wow! Very cool that you were able to put together multiplayer so fast! |
| May 3 20:50:00 | 10m 00s | LESS [Last Exit Scary Square] | I hope you go further with this! The vision occlusion in the hallway and the simple interface helped create a lot of tension! |
| May 4 06:17:00 | 9h 27m | BareBones | Great writing. Sometimes repeats phrases too close together, common rush stuff, but the ideas were well explored and vocabulary was well put to use. |
| May 7 19:38:00 | 85h 21m | Ego Tripper | Loved the little one-up comments! Simple and well executed, perfect for the theme! |
| May 7 19:45:00 | 7m 00s | Minimalistic PotatoPeople | Interesting idea. The user interface gets a bit painful is all. |
| May 7 22:05:00 | 2h 20m | Minimal Moves | Gorgeous graphics and concept! I would love to play this on my iPad! |
| May 12 00:02:00 | 97h 57m | LD26-2D-Freelancer | Can't wait to see what you make with this! Seems like a strong start! |
| May 12 00:05:00 | 3m 00s | Pick-M | If developed further, and maybe taking some ideas like Blenno's into account, I could see this being a very fun little web game :) great first entry |
| May 12 04:43:00 | 4h 38m | ^2 | Perfect fit for the theme! I really like the way you animated the square for added visual interest |
| May 12 05:52:00 | 1h 09m | Undersea - The Excellent Expedition | Fun game, only real problem being the aforementioned bug. I hope you plan on finishing it :) |
| May 20 17:19:00 | 203h 27m | Canon | Wow, this is pretty fantastic. I feel like playing it a lot could actually help with rhythm/coordination for playing actual instruments :) |
