Apr 29 04:03:00 Canon It gets extremely hard, as soon as the second block appears! I'm not complaining! Good job!
Apr 29 04:23:00 20m 00s Keepy Uppy Doesn't seem to be loading for me so far
Apr 29 04:30:00 7m 00s Potatoroids This is the hero Ludum Dare deserves
Apr 29 05:25:00 55m 00s Jump 46!
Apr 29 05:31:00 6m 00s Amish Brothers Very charming. I like the real voice audio and homemade music. It sounds like someone's right outside of the game field playing while we play! Also, 5/5 for humor
Only drawback is no apparent challenge, but it's meditative!
Apr 29 05:36:00 5m 00s Hatchet Web version isn't working for me either - For some reason it downloads the html to my computer, and then when I open that, it tries to load the jar and fails with "Buffers have not been created"
Apr 29 05:38:00 2m 00s Running With Swords I love the spinning arms mechanic!
Apr 29 07:05:00 1h 27m mz Always a fan of destructible environments!
Apr 29 21:55:00 14h 50m Soldier of Yellowism Is there a "final ending" if you improve on your performances, or is it just for high score? Anyway, beat all 3 paintings, it was surprisingly fun / intense. It's like a big memory game of "just how far around this block have I drawn? You need quick reflexes to change your path and get moving once it turns yellow, so that you don't waste any time. I'm giving this full 5s across the board, I'd say it embodies one of the best representations of the theme I've seen so far, while being fun to play!
Apr 29 23:43:00 1h 48m Telekinetic Minimalist Cult 5: Packrat Nightmare That was great!! I loved the recorded singing and sounds, and the overall humor of it! Very innovative and on-topic!
Apr 29 23:53:00 10m 00s Moiety I won!
Apr 30 20:46:00 20h 53m The Despicable Caverns of Deadly Doom Great game with a classic feel! Level 3 is extremely unbalanced for difficulty, though! It took me 5+ tries, and even then I finished with maybe 1% fuel. Then the game resumes being considerably easier again!
Apr 30 21:45:00 59m 00s Neverending bricks Nice work! Takes a classic concept and gives it new rules. Also, very nice music!
May 1 22:09:00 24h 24m Metahotel How come they can't see each other? Just what kind of hotel is this?
Great job! Definitely 5/5 for innovation, as well as a few other categories!
May 1 22:18:00 9m 00s Explorar Surprisingly fun! Kept me going right to completion. And definitely makes good use of the theme!
May 3 05:14:00 30h 56m Conversion That was slightly creepier than I thought it would be! Very inventive take on the theme. Very high rankings, I give!
May 5 09:18:00 52h 04m Karate Alien Color Attack This is excellent! One of the highest ratings I've given so far. I really like how the pickups blend with the background color, and the variety of colors reminds me of old Commodore games. Good job!
May 5 09:26:00 8m 00s Three in One? 1 star for audio, 5 stars for everything else! Hilarious, awesome game! Great job!
May 13 07:36:00 190h 10m Escape from the Tower Very nice! I really like the "chips challenge"-like genre.
Our hero seems to have a "tripping and falling into doors with key in hand" problem! Adds a neat dynamic to picking your route around the room.
Good job!
May 13 07:45:00 9m 00s Balls Balls Balls I love the music and the mini-golf feel!
Very impressive work!
May 13 07:52:00 7m 00s Essense This is great! I love the music and visuals, and the adherence to the theme!
The "problems" are scary! It's very menacing hearing them approach.
May 20 21:12:00 181h 20m Too Many Items Genuinely made me laugh. I also liked the out-of-the-ordinary shooting mechanic. Is it shooting back through your own chest, though? It also fits the theme well and I enjoyed the music.
Good work!
May 20 21:32:00 20m 00s Get outta my way! Great game! I really wanted to beat the last level, but I eventually gave in after probably about 10 minutes. It seems like it possibly gets a bit more difficult once you wipe out the pedestrians, because there are less things for the enemies to crash into!
Great, imaginative game. Definitely something new. Great work!
May 20 21:36:00 4m 00s # So far "loveliness" is just hanging for me. I'll restart my browser and see if it clears up
May 20 22:26:00 50m 00s Rex Galaxy and the SpaceSkull I love the attention to classic games.
Was the destructible boss a Gorf reference?
Is Dickard an AVGN reference?
Good job!
Seemed like there might have been a bit of a bug with the powerups - My ship would randomly revert to a single ship and then be unable to become a double or triple ship again.
May 20 23:06:00 40m 00s Serendipity Spoiler alert?
I made it to a white screen where a tiny flickering (version of myself? moved slowly from left to right and left the screen.

Was that the end?
I didn't seem to be able to control anything from that point on (unless I lost my cursor offscreen somewhere
May 20 23:11:00 5m 00s SHOOT CAR, SHIT PANTS I like the breaking of the fourth wall, interactivity-wise.
Creates more laundry, but it's worth it.
May 20 23:27:00 16m 00s The Game Without Controls Oh my goodness, I actually did it.
Devious game mechanic!
I think I might have to carve off a point for minimalism for having one of the most roundabout methods of victory ever, but I might have to add it back on again for not technically existing "within the game"
Very nice work (and the graphics are beautifully done!
High scores ahead!
May 20 23:32:00 5m 00s Minimalist MAYHEM The game's page says "Ludum Dare 23" (this is Ludum Dare 26)
May 20 23:49:00 17m 00s The Minimalist I came back and rated this quite a bit more highly once I learned that there's a trick to the game. It's somewhat unclear that there's "more beneath the surface"
If you make a post-compo updated version, you should give a bit more of a hint that we're looking for a trick, maybe
That said, good work on making a game with a twist, and I enjoyed the level where you have to (Spoiler ahead) walk through the platform with your face embedded in it!
May 20 23:55:00 6m 00s stairs Very tricky! Becomes a lot easier with practice.
One big challenge to it is that it's a bit "laggy" feeling waiting for your other foot to land before you can raise your other food - Maybe in a future version you might want to consider making the raised foot lower faster if you hit the opposite foot?
5/5 for innovation, this is a very unusual game!
Great work!
May 21 00:00:00 5m 00s Super MiniMan Nice work! I love pixel-perfect levels like these. They feel very raw and precise.
I also like the minimalist approach to the drowning alert - It's like Sonic the Hedgehog meets 1980s computer sound card
May 21 00:10:00 10m 00s curves Nice, it's like Lunar Lander or Asteroids, but in a maze.
Very challenging/frustrating, but I think that's the point!
Easy to get impatient and try to go faster and more carelessly through on subsequent runs.
Good work!
May 21 00:31:00 21m 00s MULTIVAC Is the game unfinished? As the others on here have stated, I'm unable to get past the console dialog with the computer (and option 8 only goes to a blank screen after viewing)
May 21 00:39:00 8m 00s Seventh World Problems Very surreal, and lots of attention to detail. Graphics 5/5
Great atmosphere.
Gives me a feeling similar to "Babies dream of dead worlds"
Good work!
May 21 00:42:00 3m 00s Efficient Body I can't fairly give this a star rating, due to not owning a Kinect, but I want to say congratulations on working in an uncommon medium. I hope enough Kinect users give it a try to give you your due!
Cheers!
May 21 00:51:00 9m 00s Steve Can't Zen That was amazing. Time's running out and this might be the last game I have a chance to rate before the voting deadline, and it was a great one to end it on!
Very, very high marks.
Also, I've vastly overestimated the gestation period of deer.
Great work!
5/5 across the board!
