| Dec 17 22:36:00 | Do Not Help The Princess | Nice little game. Seems a bit strangely balanced though. The fire thingy is crazy strong for most of the game, but the last hero I cannot seem to stop. I also had trouble when trying to "play again". Some of the heroes apparently were still counted as being there. But good job :) | |
| Dec 17 22:43:00 | 7m 00s | My First Ping Pong Massacre | As the other said, the particles and overall response to the shots are nice, but the games feels a bit arbitrary in how it awards points. Could be a little more explicit. But nice start! |
| Dec 17 22:45:00 | 2m 00s | Infidel | Unfortunately I cannot rate Unity3D web games (I'm on Linux :( ) I could run either a Linux standalone (if you're on Unity 4) or a Windows one. Would you consider exporting one of these ? |
| Dec 17 23:02:00 | 17m 00s | NONEX | The graphics are really great, the whole atmosphere of the game is really neat. The same basic technique seems to work for all levels though, so you probably could mix it up a bit. That said, nice use of that online music generator : fits the rest of the game. Hope you'll turn this into a fully-fledged game. |
| Dec 20 21:18:00 | 70h 16m | Horrible Horace | Pretty fun game. Absolutely loved the aesthetics, and the game feels pretty solid. No obvious bug or anything (except the restart thing). Very well done! |
| Dec 20 21:22:00 | 4m 00s | Evil Monkey | Sorry for not being able to test your game :( I'm under Linux so OSX only games I cannot run. Good luck though! |
| Dec 20 21:28:00 | 6m 00s | Paradise Island | Not very easy to control on an azerty keyboard where the numbers have to be accessed by pressing shift. However, the fast-paced nature of the gameplay made me try to master it for a good long while. Polished and with a refined control scheme, this could become something quite nice. Also, nice way of handling the restart :) |
| Dec 21 05:25:00 | 7h 57m | Click to Lock and Load | Nice one! Pretty hard (and the resolution is very small by default, scales nicely though), but quite fun. I think it's well suited to repeated replays since the difficulty is not too high, you just need to focus and get better. Well done! |
| Dec 21 05:27:00 | 2m 00s | Conquering Oneself | Too bad your game is Windows-only, it really looked like a great one but sadly, I'm on Linux and couldn't even make it run in Wine. Good luck though! |
| Dec 21 05:34:00 | 7m 00s | Noob Reaper | Sorry I can't test your game (I'm on Linux). Looks fun! |
| Dec 21 05:39:00 | 5m 00s | Space Liberators | Quite hard to play on an azery keyboard, and after a while I couldn't select my ships, so I lost. But cool concept, I like how it becomes more and more hectic. Good job! |
| Dec 21 05:47:00 | 8m 00s | Zombie Commander | Plays very well, looks great. Unfortunately as others said you use pre-made assets so I cannot rate you as a compo entry. Very sorry. You should expand on this game though, with different levels and whatnot, it could become quite something. |
| Dec 21 05:52:00 | 5m 00s | P.H.D of Evil | I tried running it in Wine, but between no sound and the unresponsive UI, I think it's doing something wrong. Too bad, since the game looked like a fresh idea! |
| Dec 21 06:09:00 | 17m 00s | Against All Good | Doesn't run on Linux either. I'm getting this : <br/> <br/>Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: game/AgainstAllGood : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0 <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClassCond(ClassLoader.java:631) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:615) <br/> at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:141) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(URLClassLoader.java:283) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$000(URLClassLoader.java:58) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:197) <br/> at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:190) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:306) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:247) <br/> at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method) <br/> at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:247) <br/> at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.jarinjarloader.JarRsrcLoader.main(JarRsrcLoader.java:56) |
| Dec 21 06:22:00 | 13m 00s | Skinner Box Simulator 2012 | Great idea, but quite hard to grasp. Good job though! |
| Dec 21 06:29:00 | 7m 00s | A Chistmas Rebel | Nice one! I couldn't change weapons though (on an azerty keyboard, you have to press shift to get to the numbers keys). It would have been nice to let people use the arrow keys to navigate, as WASD becomes the equivalent of ZQSD on my keyboard. Well done, though! |
| Dec 21 06:32:00 | 3m 00s | BendoReflector X-25 | Tried to play it several times now, and apparently no one connects. Too bad, it looked cool! Good luck! |
| Dec 22 18:49:00 | 36h 17m | Ninox the Nightbringer | Nice one! Python dev here, so I had pygame installed. Tried to make an executable for you, but I also failed, sorry :( Anyway, great game, simple mechanic, but the levels are well designed. The music was a tad too loud, but the idea is very sound, and the presentation di it justice. Hope you elaborate on this game! |
| Dec 22 19:11:00 | 22m 00s | THE CONDEMNED | Awesome. Played it twice to completion, and have quite a few remarks. <br/> <br/>- When you restart, you already have the flashlight in your inventory. Nothing serious, but still. <br/>- While the controls were a bit unusual but usable, I think they could have been improved a lot with only a couple of tweaks. First, when rotating and/or moving to a new node, the view should reset directly to looking right in front of the character, like it does when you don't press anything for a few seconds. Then, you could have used the arrow keys for rotation, but look around with the mouse. Not in a FPS way, but rather by making the character turn when the pointer came close to the edge of the screen. <br/>- The sewer area was REALLY dark, even with the flashlight on. <br/>- Great atmosphere, the descriptions were well written, and I loved being able to use more than one sense to get a better idea of the room I was in. The audio is also spot-on. <br/>- The intro did its job *really* well. One of the high points of the game. <br/> <br/>All in all, congratulations on making an awesome (if short) adventure game! |
| Dec 22 19:30:00 | 19m 00s | EndNet - A Prisoner's Dilemma | Unfortunately, no one was around when I tried, but I love the idea. Will try to connect again, but you deserve good scores on the relevant categories. Good job! |
| Dec 22 19:32:00 | 2m 00s | Evil Keeper | Sorry, cannot play XNA games on Linux (using Wine). Maybe my Wine knowledge is just not up to snuff, but this wouldn't run for me. Sorry :( |
| Dec 22 19:37:00 | 5m 00s | Villain??? | Very nicely done. Didn't encounter any bug, the music was great, and the game beautiful, if short and easy. As others said, it would have been great to have the "corruption" mechanic actually do something inside the game. Here it was a neat effet, but nothing else. Happy new year to you too, though! |
| Dec 22 19:41:00 | 4m 00s | Asteroids Backwards | Great concept, really a shame that you could not finish it. It would not need much to become really fun. The music was great however. Keep at it! |
| Dec 22 20:14:00 | 33m 00s | Decommissioner | This was awesome. Cannot say much without spoiling, but it was a really great game. Congratulations! |
| Dec 22 21:21:00 | 1h 07m | Terminal Killer | The flashing lights were a bit much, and I never passed the second stage (the K kept disappearing for some reason). Very good idea though, and good execution! The drawings introducing our hacker were funny :) |
| Dec 23 11:17:00 | 13h 56m | Nemesis | Neat game! Pretty bugless, if a bit unforgiving regarding lava. The epic fight requirement for ending the level was a nice touch too. Well done! |
| Dec 29 19:47:00 | 152h 30m | Grim's Christmas List | Nice little platformer. Too bad there wasn't any music in the levels, because the sounds got a bit annoying after a while. You also seem pretty much invulnerable if you press c all the time. But the style was pretty cool. Good job! |
| Dec 29 19:50:00 | 3m 00s | Pinball Bounder! | Good concept, but the movement speed seemed a bit extreme to me :) With a bit more polish, it could become quite enjoyable. Congrats. |
| Dec 29 19:58:00 | 8m 00s | Dr. Spackolo | Haha that was awesome. Very nice writing, and had fun reading all the combinations. :) Very very good job. |
