| Aug 27 11:11:00 | Boxy the Boxcat in Evolution Escapades | It took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit to figure out that running into toxic barrels is a GOOD thing. Before that, I figured I was just meant to be finding stuff.

A bit confusing and pretty easy to get lost, and that music track got REEEEEEALLY annoying after a while. Movement was a bit slow, too. Maybe put in a mini-map or a waypoint arrow thing or something.

Really liked it, though. Very charming. | |
| Aug 27 11:15:00 | 4m 00s | The Unbeatable Blob | I like how the feature list in your description is things that AREN'T in the game. I'm a bit confused as to what I'm meant to be doing, but I think I see the basic idea, which is interesting. |
| Aug 27 11:23:00 | 8m 00s | Bacon | "Clearly I've won, but you can't eat success". Now there's a philosophical line if I ever heard one. I like this, very simple and neat. A bit easy, but I can see how with more time, you could turn it into something awesome. |
| Aug 27 11:28:00 | 5m 00s | Cellception | Collecting the last few things was PAAAAAAAAAAAAINFULLY slow (I guess that's the point, though), but that ending screen was totally worth it. Now I feel good about myself. Good job! |
| Aug 27 11:33:00 | 5m 00s | GeometryEvo | I got a 'beautiful end'. Dunno if there's separate endings, but... that's what I got. The typos are really aggravating, but the implementation of the theme with separate types of gameplay is very nice. |
| Aug 27 11:47:00 | 14m 00s | Physicalution | Not really sure what I'm doing, but... it looks cool? |
| Aug 27 11:50:00 | 3m 00s | The evolution games / unnatural selection | Wow. I am absolutely awful at it, but I give you bonus points for letting me massacre kittens, after all the bloody talk of them because of that damned joke theme... |
| Aug 27 11:58:00 | 8m 00s | Unlikely Companion | Veeeeery cool. Small suggestion; can you make it so that if you hold down the mouse button, you shoot/attack continuously? All that clicking got a bit monotonous. |
| Aug 27 12:02:00 | 4m 00s | My Apartment | Aaaaaactually hilarious. Lost it at 'Windows needs to install updates'. Really very good indeed. Well done!

Also, leaving comments is hard. This is now a comment about leaving comments. |
| Aug 27 12:22:00 | 20m 00s | Digital Generation | Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh, the soldier/tank/alien level is bloody impossible. Bonus points for getting me to ragequit, I think. |
| Aug 27 12:29:00 | 7m 00s | Battle Evolved | That... is... AWESOME! Holy crap, I can see myself actually paying money for a longer version of this. Gamepad support would've been nice (I used Xpadder anyway, though). |
| Aug 27 12:31:00 | 2m 00s | Block Shoot | Really cool - Like a sort-of lo-fi Smash TV. |
| Aug 27 12:36:00 | 5m 00s | Revolvolution | It's cool, but I am REALLY bad at it. I keep getting killed by my own flamethrower. I've kept it downloaded, though, so I'll more than likely go back to it.

Question. Why did you choose to have that restrictive field of view? It seems sort-of pointlessly limiting?

I really like the carpet, by the way. |
| Aug 27 12:43:00 | 7m 00s | Hard Life 3X | REALLY clever, but very difficult. Could've done with some music. |
| Aug 27 13:28:00 | 45m 00s | Unnatural Selection | Unfortunately, don't have anyone to play it with, but I tried playing against myself and it seems really simple and clever. Kinda like rock-paper-scissors, with cavemen and guns. |
| Aug 27 14:03:00 | 35m 00s | Collect | ARRRRRRRRRRRGH. I wish you hadn't done that 'Flash game' thing of putting in REALLY grindy upgrades, especially when you then require actual skill to progress anyway. I got to my 59th iteration before I thought "Nope, I'm never going to do this". I was awful at trigonometry at school anyway.

It's really cool, but it gets really old, pretty quick. |
| Aug 27 14:36:00 | 33m 00s | Dusty Balls | I was doing quite well, and then I got to like, 9 at once, or something, and THEN my ball fell through the floor. It's REALLY cool, and I'd like to see you take it further after the competition. |
| Aug 27 19:21:00 | 4h 45m | The Sky in the Room | I must be too dense to understand this, because I spent pretty much the entire time wondering what was going on. Along the way, I'm pretty sure I leaked gooey brain matter out of my ears.

The pictures were pretty, though. |
| Aug 28 12:01:00 | 16h 40m | simUniverse | Today, I learned that at the dawn of time, not a lot happened. |
| Aug 28 12:08:00 | 7m 00s | Monkey Bowling | Very cute! I would've liked to have seen more done with the 'intermediate' evolutions, but I think that was probably just a time limit thing. Also, although there isn't particularly a penalty for dying (or even a way to die), it felt a bit cheap that there were certain parts you had to get through via trial-and-error, but nothing massively aggravating.

Very cool! |
| Aug 28 12:11:00 | 3m 00s | Biotic | I held the mouse button down until the game crashed. Kinda like an interactive screensaver, and a bit like Electroplankton. Pretty cool. |
| Aug 28 13:12:00 | 1h 01m | Acquire Tophat | Good effort. The jumping is kinda iffy, the collision detection's a bit off, BUT! You DO have parallax scrolling and I'm a sucker for that, so well done! |
| Aug 28 13:23:00 | 11m 00s | Save The Memepool | Really cool, if a bit short (assuming the game ends in that room with everything behind a BEAUTIFUL RED VELVET ROPE). I could see this being a fuller game, well done. |
| Aug 28 13:29:00 | 6m 00s | Life of a Worm | Pretty cool. Kinda lo-fi, DOS-style. The collision detection's a bit iffy, and some background music would've been nice, but other than that, yeah. |
| Aug 28 13:38:00 | 9m 00s | My Pairs and Me | One of my dudes decided to build a windmill, and the rest went swimming for about ten minutes. I'm not sure what I'm MEANT to be doing, but that was cool. |
| Aug 28 13:50:00 | 12m 00s | The Life Tale | Dunno whether this is intentional, but I couldn't move at the start, so I couldn't actually DO anything to level up and just kept dying, which felt a bit naff. Cool idea, though. |
| Aug 28 13:53:00 | 3m 00s | Alien Rockpool | The music certainly gave it a level of drama! Very cool. |
| Aug 28 13:59:00 | 6m 00s | Badass | Everybody go home, Sos just won the internet forever.

Also, thought for you: Everybody in this world BUT for 'Badass' is apparently a hipster, which makes them... the mainstream? And thus no longer hipsters? 'Badass', being the only one of his kind, is therefore the MOST hipster, and should surely beat himself up?

...I'm thinking too far into this, aren't I? |
| Aug 28 14:14:00 | 15m 00s | Cubevo | Cool, but really unforgiving. |
| Aug 28 14:18:00 | 4m 00s | Deal with It | Ahh yes, the ever-popular 'masochistic platformer'. Made one of these myself. Good stuff! The music's a bit repetitive, though. |
| Aug 28 14:24:00 | 6m 00s | LimiT | It looks really pretty! Well done on your art. Some really weird symbolic storytelling going on, too. Needed sound, though. |
| Aug 28 14:28:00 | 4m 00s | Strike of Rage ! | HOLY BALLS THIS IS AMAZING. |
| Aug 28 20:11:00 | 5h 43m | Turtle and Wombat | THE GAME IS IMPOSSIBLE.

That is all. |
| Aug 30 12:09:00 | 39h 58m | Kill It | That was... a bit sad, actually. For such a simple game, I didn't realise you could make something quite so poignant. Well done! |
| Aug 30 12:13:00 | 4m 00s | MatterSplatter | I found that I got the best results from just kinda sitting in a corner and hammering the 'Z' button, and then the mid-level, erm, 'boss' thing required me to... sit there and hammer the 'Z' button. So it gave my finger a good work-out! Loved the music, too.

But why was there poop? |
| Aug 30 12:26:00 | 13m 00s | ExoSlime | You get a plus point for 'evolving from our own waste' at the end. Really well-paced game, but the music got a bit repetetive.

I particularly liked how I seemed to be smacking things in the face with a shovel. |
| Aug 30 12:39:00 | 13m 00s | Eden | Yeah, I got to the end and thought "Man, you can tell this guy ran out of time", which was really kinda sad because what you'd got going was REALLY bloody good. I, too, struggle with the isometric controls, but that's not really your fault - It's just me being a derp.

I really liked this. Please, continue to make it into something further. |
| Aug 30 12:48:00 | 9m 00s | Aqualution | An INCREDIBLY pretty game, with a bit of 'Ecco the Dolphin' about it (or at least, I thought so). Stopping the levelling at 3 seemed a bit silly, though. I sort-of ran out of things to DO after a while, but it was enough to just kinda drift around and listen to the music. |
| Aug 30 12:57:00 | 9m 00s | The Voynich Experiment | It won't load for me, just gets stuck on 'loading libraries', which is really sad because, from the looks of things, it's amazing. |
| Aug 30 13:01:00 | 4m 00s | Ulovetion | Really cool. Only problem is there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the way things evolved, so I was just randomly pushing them into the borders and getting very confused when some of them disappeared, and others split into two. |
| Aug 30 13:04:00 | 3m 00s | Who cares evolution? | Bahaha, that was awesome. FEAR THE ALMIGHTY WRATH OF MY GODLY FLIP-FLOP. |
| Aug 30 13:10:00 | 6m 00s | Watercolor Wheel Evolution | This is adorable. You know things are bad when a three-year-old draws better game graphics than you do... I really enjoyed this! Thank her (and yourself) for me. |
| Aug 30 13:15:00 | 5m 00s | Bit-Craft Evolution | Holy crap, that got really intense really fast. I found myself clicking off the screen a lot, but that's probably my own derpiness. |
| Aug 30 13:20:00 | 5m 00s | Biods | I think I'm just REALLY bad at it - I couldn't get past level 1, even after trying several times. Hum. |
| Aug 30 13:21:00 | 1m 00s | rEVOLution | Every time I went to run it, I got 'unexpected error while running the game'. :( |
| Aug 30 13:30:00 | 9m 00s | Yellow Dog | The whole time I was playing, I kept thinking "PLEASE DON'T LET IT DIE AT THE END". Thankfully, it didn't, but then I had to eventually close the game and that made me sad...

This is really, really good. |
| Aug 30 13:34:00 | 4m 00s | Genes Chase | Ahh! I closed the game and the music kept going! Game's pretty cool but, as someone else mentioned, that 2nd level is SO empty. It got really confusing, scrolling around on a static blue background - It was like I wasn't going anywhere.

Everything else is awesome, though |
| Aug 30 13:39:00 | 5m 00s | SHOE | It's very, very pretty, but also very, very hard. Had it had some music, you'd probably have that 'Mood' category all wrapped up. |
| Aug 30 14:03:00 | 24m 00s | Plan M | That. Was. AMAZING. I can't believe you made that in 72 hours. |
| Aug 30 15:31:00 | 1h 28m | The Phoenix Rising | That was really, honestly, incredibly clever. Like a sort-of 2D Heavy Rain. Good job! |
| Aug 30 16:01:00 | 30m 00s | IO VUOLE ZEN | Really clever. I first took the 'modern' route (after doing the previous levels, I figured I could handle it), but then a game-breaking bug meant I had to restart, so I took the 'ancient' route. Really like what you did there. |
| Aug 30 16:16:00 | 15m 00s | Inu No Ongaeshi | That was really pretty. Quite well-written, good graphics but as someone previously commented, I'd have liked more choice. There are some things I actually felt myself getting angry about, when they happened (particularly the ending - I got ending #1). Please consider going further with this, and writing in more choice. |
| Aug 30 16:20:00 | 4m 00s | Dissolution | Obviously very short, but really well-made. Gonna go play the Jam entry now, see how things progress! |
| Aug 30 16:24:00 | 4m 00s | You ARE the RAIN | Well, that was... odd. I think I just released the Ultimate Evil by getting all emo over an egg. Cool. |
| Aug 30 16:35:00 | 11m 00s | 1000 Evolving Kittens | Well, that was certainly a thing. I think the word 'Click' at the start was the only part I really understood.

Fun to watch, though. |
| Aug 30 16:45:00 | 10m 00s | A Game With A Castle | Would've been cool if there was a SLIGHT gameplay-related change each time. Not even something you'd immediately notice, like... moving the enemies two pixels to the left, or something. |
| Aug 30 16:49:00 | 4m 00s | A Matter of L and D | That was fun! Like a particularly good screensaver. Although, THOSE BASTARDS KILLED FRANK. |
| Aug 30 17:00:00 | 11m 00s | A Quirk Of Humanity | Really cool! I, too, have often wondered why nobody's made a game consisting entirely of boss battles from the 2D Legend of Zelda games. So I'm glad you did! |
| Aug 30 17:04:00 | 4m 00s | Abstract Legends | Really cool idea. Broken as hell, but a cool idea. |
| Aug 30 17:06:00 | 2m 00s | 1 Million B.C. | Simple idea, but very challenging. |
| Aug 30 17:10:00 | 4m 00s | AdapTanks | Pretty cool. You say the evolution happens according to how you play? How do you increase range? I kept killing things while at the absolute maximum range of my bullets, but range never went up. |
| Sep 16 11:16:00 | 402h 06m | Breuoakt | Oh now that's clever. I really like the way the blocks pop back in. I consider myself pretty good at Breakout, but I could only score 66 points at my highest. Must try harder... |
| Sep 16 11:20:00 | 4m 00s | Future Pixels | I think maaaaybe you made the levels too long. But! I liked the music and the mechanics were well-implemented. I've got a soft spot for twin-stick shooters. Oh, and the loading screen was great. |
| Sep 16 11:27:00 | 7m 00s | _Evolve | Apparently, it's not compatible with the version of Windows that I'm running (7, 32-bit) |
