Aug 22 23:50:00 EvilMegaCorp First thing I did was jump through the wall to the left and into the fire and get stuck. But I guess I have only myself to blame. ;)
Aug 23 05:03:00 5h 13m Slimes! Crashes at startup for me! :(
Aug 23 22:24:00 17h 21m STOPCOCK Oh man, an installer? I loved the graphical style and the music, though it was pretty hard to read the text on a 30" monitor! Nice stuff...
Aug 23 22:29:00 5m 00s In Chains Nice little platformer. :) The event-based dodging was clever! I escaped only to find that the air before me had become an invisible solid.....
Aug 23 22:35:00 6m 00s Escape Imprisonment at the Satanic Mental Hospital Cute. I liked the music and sound effects and the amusingly unfinished player character graphics. :) I didn't seem to ever be able to punch nurses before they nursed me, but there was plenty of health around to make it to the exit pretty easily. And I escaped!
Aug 23 22:44:00 9m 00s Beak Free Nice idea! I made it to level 4 but the game was pretty hard, mostly because I felt like my control over the bird was pretty laggy but I was expected to make pretty tight movements. I probably would have been able to play longer if it hadn't been for the flapping sound effect, which was quite anxiety-inducing. Clever idea though!
Aug 27 17:32:00 90h 48m Run Escape This looks clever! It crashes for me on startup though. :(
Aug 27 18:09:00 37m 00s Meta Abstract Room Escape Wow, lovely. A clever concept and good puzzles. I liked the music and sound. The worst part was the scrolling graph; it didn't need to be that big in order to be playable, and it often scrolled away when I didn't want it to. It kind of reminds me of a game we made for the 2006 ICFP programming contest ("./adventure") which was an abstract adventure game based on ordered linear logic; you might find it interesting (section 3.9 of the paper at boundvariable.org).
Aug 27 18:17:00 8m 00s AWOL Really nice graphics and atmosphere! The first time I played I got upturned right away and it was very hard to recover from that. Second time I made it 3km. I would have liked it if there was some kind of end in sight other than losing all my health (a lot of injuries seemed random and hard to avoid), but a real polished game otherwise...
Aug 27 20:43:00 2h 26m The Man Who Sold The World A familiar game mechanic but nice graphical style and lovely music, especially in the Arcology!
Aug 27 21:43:00 1h 00m Esc I liked the graphics! Gameplay was almost humorously uni-dimensional, though... :)
Sep 10 15:59:00 330h 16m Block Faker * spoilers *

Again, more than meets the eye. :) I think I won, though it's hard to say for sure.

I like the idea here. Some of the straight-up sokoban is pretty good. Some of them have superfluous stuff (I suspect cooked). The game was good at teaching me that I could escape, by showing me increasingly perforated game edges. It was gratifying the first time I managed to do it, as I had been suspecting the possibility, but then I didn't know what I was supposed to do and I was eaten by my friends. Starting over from the beginning at this point was sort of annoying, since I had to play through like 7 levels again. Once you get to the warp zones, it's also annoying to have to start over, and a lot of those are just a matter of getting a lucky configuration. Just being able to restart from that level would have made it more fun.

I also tried playing through the game the "right" way, but I got two levels 10. The second time through I thought it was a bit too obvious that I should escape, which takes away some fun of figuring it out. What about just making the chance of a level being broken grow over time?

Anyway yeah, this game needs a high-score table and a "winners don't use drugs" emblem on startup.
Sep 10 16:06:00 7m 00s Go, Fish! My game was also about fish. :) I found it easy most of the time to sit at the right edge of the screen and pass the nets, but eventually there were a pile of nets on top of one another that might have been impossible. So I think that some constraints on the randomness might be necessary for fairness.

Good job for a first go! It's pretty complete!

Hi-score: 4652
Sep 10 16:16:00 10m 00s Red Rover Cute. :) The tracks that my rover left were a great touch, and made it much more pleasant to explore the world since I knew where I had been. Nice music too. I found the blue gem ending!
Sep 10 16:25:00 9m 00s Not Without my Zombie Graphics are pretty nice, though I think the "glow" effect on the player does not really resemble light (maybe try alpha blending darkness over everything BUT the gaussian around the character?). The physics were a bit wonky for a grid-based platformer; I often would find myself slowly skating on walls. When I got to the "big jump" part, I managed to make it out the top, then fall out of the game, and it froze! Did I win? :)
Sep 10 16:51:00 26m 00s Ceaseless Nice idea and execution! The mesmerizing animation is great. Very intuitive controls and gameplay. I feel like I could play easy mode forever if I can keep myself from being hypnotized (hi-score 317 or so). Hard mode is pretty hard; does the ball even move fast enough?
Sep 18 22:55:00 198h 04m epacse I liked this one a lot, though some of the levels were fairly fiddly. Very creative. I found the secret level with the help of the source (it's the coolest looking one), but eventually gave up.
Sep 20 05:32:00 30h 37m Cut Here Super!
Sep 20 23:52:00 18h 20m BATHOS Excellent work. I figured it out pretty fast, possibly because of the "don't read the comments!" meta-spoiler. I loved the graphics and atmosphere!
Sep 21 00:06:00 14m 00s Hollow This one is superb. The graphics are perfect and the gameplay is pretty tight. I found the leprechaun on the second playthrough, but I think it might have been a bug because it looked like I died?
