LD55 — Summoning

Heart of the Cards by Profugo Barbatus 2024-04-22T02:45:19Z

I love the art style and the music! The game was intuitive and the controls are really smooth. I would've liked to have seen a little bit more depth to the gameplay, but I do understand the time constraint of the jam. Thanks for sharing!

Game of the Name by kaliuresis 2024-04-22T03:26:33Z

Very fun concept! It was fun trying to think of names that would synergize well with each other. My MVP ended up being my healer, Leif. I like how you can hover over elements of the UI to get an explanation of what they do. Obviously some music would have been nice, but otherwise great job and thanks for sharing!

Cat-o-Conjurer by Aivaxela 2024-04-23T03:13:40Z

The atmosphere is very well done here! The music, sound effects, and graphics tie together very well to give it a cute, fun vibe! I think you also nailed making it just challenging enough that it became very satisfying once I memorized which cat was on which number, and I could quickly switch between them depending on where the next rat was. Would love to see the game get a little harder the further you get, or some other way to add depth. Thanks for sharing!

Hell-Sent Messenger by Creeper Nade 2024-04-23T03:46:59Z

Interesting concept! I like the ouija board mechanic and would love to see it fleshed out even more. i.e. ghost can give you more hints through the ouija board instead of just giving a cardinal direction or telling you that you're "close". As others have said, there should be more feedback when you are close to a ghost. I did enjoy the graphics and overall atmosphere. Thanks for sharing!
