I hate Snakes! by mennchen22 2017-07-31T19:04:53Z
The animations were really nice, though the game was fairly confusing. I saw things like doors and levers that I thought I could interact with, but apparently couldn't.

I really liked the large variety of enemies in this game! The controls were really tight and the powerups were really satisfying to use! Awesome job!
This was really fun and fit the theme well of the jam very well! My only issues were with the AI of the co-workers getting easily stuck on things, and with needing to spam the E button when the coffee could just be picked up on collision to simplify the control scheme Since there was really no time I was near a coffee and didn't want to drink it. It would have also been cool to see some sort of mechanic where co-workers would run from you when your sanity starting draining, it might have added some duality to gameplay. Awesome job on this!
I loved this game, the management aspect was fun to play with and although it took me a little I was able to grasp it even through the info dump at the beginning of the game. What would be nice as a clarity improvement would be a way to see which resource a building produces, and which resources it takes. The main menu was unique and stylized which I loved, and the credits button got a genuine laugh out of me. Great job!
I loved this, the perspective changes were really cool to see. Nice, short and sweet. Great job on this!
I liked the visuals, the gameplay was just like chess as described. The lack of instruction was a tiny bit offputting, but being extremely like chess helped offset that. The little cinematics were super cute, and enjoyable. The random storm mechanic seems really underhanded and cheap especially at higher difficulties since there's no real way to play against it imo. The sound effects were SUPER loud compared to the music and made me turn down the volume as far down as I could get it. Great job on the game though, having all my penguins attack a single enemy and completely destroy them felt really satisfying!
I like the idea of this game, but I personally feel the execution was missed a little bit. There's no need to attack any of the asteroids and I still don't know if I'm supposed to or not. Also there are no controls listed on the page so having those next time would be great! I didn't encounter any enemy patrols as the description said I would, and just sorta coasted to the exit very easily in a few seconds. Challenges and obstacles that can't be easily avoided would make this game great!
The controls were extremely clunky, and the what seemed to be randomness of turret / energy placement combined with the quick draining of the battery meant there were some situations that seemed to be unwinnable. Also, I think making the bullets not home toward you, but instead home to where you were when they were fired so they can be dodged would make things a lot more manageable. The idea is really cool, it just needs some polish and tightening up. Great job and congrats on your first ludum dare!
I liked the visuals, although the UI wasn't scaling to the resolution, so I didn't even know how many enemies I killed. I don't see how this is a rogue-like, or how it follows the theme of running out of power. I just sorta shot arrows at bad guys until the game said I was done. It was super simple to kite the enemies around and kill them. Making the enemies more challenging would add a lot to the game! :D
The game is really fun if you limit yourself to four stones per turn. Awesome job!
I loved this game, the parody of lootcrates and EA alone was priceless. Amazing job!
