LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Save The Jazz by Tutti Ankka 2018-04-24T08:51:15Z

this was pretty fun, I liked the music too which helps a lot in a rhythm game!! Sometimes it wasn't clear when a guard was actually seeing you, so at times the light would be shining on you but you weren't caught and then at others it seemed like you were caught regardless. But that's only a minor thing. Great job!

Court Invaders by Robber 2018-04-24T08:35:49Z

I loved the graphics! I sucked at the game but that felt like my fault rather than the game's fault, which is a Very Good Thing. Very well done!

It's pretty difficult, but very well polished casual game!

Farm of Duty by Jima 2018-04-24T08:19:05Z

Well, it looks great and there's an impressive amount of polish! The picking up of produce and coins and things seems a bit finicky and the amount of farming needed to open fences was a bit much, but it certainly is a well executed marriage of two genres that really are a bit incompatible. Nice!

Gender Circles by EkkoEkko 2018-04-24T08:26:25Z

A neat lil game! I liked how intuitive it felt, although there didn't seem to be much progression to act as a hook. At times too it felt either unfair too easy. Still, a solid concept executed without fuss. Good job!

Crane Quandary by Strato 2018-04-24T09:51:13Z

Such a sweet little game! Very much enjoyed playing it, relaxing nostalgic feeling to it. Everything works really well together. Favourite game so far!

Happy Town by Alegz 2018-04-24T03:12:38Z

The visuals in this game are really cute! I love the lowpoly graphics and the color choices work excellently. I also love the way the cars expression changes when you bump into a wall. I can see some neat ideas starting to emerge for puzzles and the racing gameplay merged with them really well. This is a really good effort, especially for you first ludum dare!
