Cool take on the idle clicker genre. Doggos are cute and the music is nice to listen to while idling away and letting your pups run into each other. It would have been a nice bonus to be able to pet the dogs somehow, but at least I could play catch with all the good boïz and gürlz :dog:
@josep-valls Thanks for your feedback, we just added a small gameplay paragraph in the game description
@someone Thanks a lot for your thorough review! We'll add a Known Issues section in the description so that players know what to expect. Unfortunately I doubt we'll produce a post-jam version with the related fixes. We're glad you enjoyed the game nonetheless :)
Neat little game and already very polished! The light effects and the sound when shooting really give a good gunfeel. The art is awesome and the general vibe of the game is on point, with the with the little red eyes going at you and the forever coming thorns you do feel the pressure ramping up. And you even got a cool intro cutscene and all. Kudos!
Pretty cool experience! This could become a great game if you put in the work. Took me a couple of runs to get accustomed to the controls and the way the spider moves, it was hard to dodge the bullets at first but once you get the hang of it everything felt quite fluid. A simple design that is playful and with great potential, good work :)
Nice compo game! Played with a gamepad and it would have been nice to be able to attack with the triggers or the buttons behind in order to move the camera with a different finger at the same time. I thought the hitbox felt a bit weird and retry is crashing (at least for me on a win11) so I did not try too hard for a high score and kept on dying quite fast - for lack of skills more likely: I only found out about lures while reading the comments. Kudos for the voice lines! Edit: just realising that when you lose "return" might not be a "return in the dish" but a "return to desktop", hence not a crash?
Love the idea, the music, sounds and art! I tried paper for a jam once but had to take pictures of it 'cause I had no scanner. The result was greyish and meh, but here it looks real good and goes well with the sound FX (loved the engine <3) and the music. The paper being smashed for the damages is a nice touch. Though, as a Crash Team Racing guy I kept looking for drift and boosts... or at least a way to take sharper turns. It's quite hard even with the basic car. So I cheated and ran back and forth on the line :grimacing: Screenshot 2024-10-14 185020.png Pretty cool compo game overall :)
I liked the Ant-Zord idea, pretty cool to play with the abilities in the different states to turn the battle in your favor. I won the first try without really knowing what I was doing but I replayed to see what could be done and got rekt twice by the cat who's not so defensless while paralyzed and it also broke my paralyzing beam! Several possibilities I was not expecting that were nice surprises! Too bad it ends after the first fight, I could see myself grow my Zords and gain new skills from battle XP and such, but one can do so much in 48 hours. Also, kuddos for integrating some kind of story.
Such a unique game! It felt a bit random at first but once you embrace the idea, create some nonsense and get gwee-gwees to create more nonsense, you just want even more. I had much fun tending over my Gweeble garden. The art is lovely, the sound FX are awesome and so is the whole vibe. A real refreshing Jam! Screenshot 2024-10-14 201234.png (an attempted haiku)
