Great game and great atmosphere !

You made me hate myself for what I did, but you kept me playing, very well done !

The first time I saw the Harvest button on the family was a gut punch, but I love that you made it so the best way to save money is to get rid of the kids early. You monsters.

Goob job on the graphics, that character model is really cute.

The time limit felt a bit harsh, I ran out of time just in front of the portal a few times. (I was in normal).

I feel like the progression would be more satisfying if we could buy upgrades to carry more gems (maybe at a higher price ?).

The music is really nice, really puts you in that eerie atmosphere.

Great game !

Good gameplay idea, and bonus points for it being a nice spin on the classic asteroid formula.

Controls are a bit difficult to handle though, making it a bit harder than it should be.

The tone, humor and theming are on point.

I like how some levels are frantic fun with everything going on at once, and others are more puzzly.

Loved it !

Weird to think that we aren't the only ones who did a game with a combine harvester filling its fuel gauge by killing people :D

I loved the incoherent ramblings of the characters. It feels weird to have such a build up for the bosses, only for them to die in 1 hit, but I guess that's part of the absurdity !

The comics were really well done, I'd like to see what you could do with a bit more time.

It's a really well designed game. Each enemy mechanic is creative an interesting, they complement each other well, AND each one is a useful power up when you harvest. I feel like that's a powerful game design basis for a bigger game.

The one frustration I had was that I frequently killed enemies when I wanted to leave them low so I could harvest them. I thought that maybe the killing blow to an enemy could instead leave it at 1hp, and the next shot would kill it. But that would maybe slow down the gameplay too much. Anyway, it's probably just a skill issue :sweat_smile: .

Super cute game !

Great level design and the character and world have a lot of personality.

I was afraid at the start that it would get repetitive because I thought you would have to get to the same places every day. But after a few days the game really opens up and it's really cool to see familiar places in a completely different light once you mobility increases.

The fruits refusing to snap to you is a bit frustrating, but apart from that it's an awesome game !

I kept dying to the first "thing" because I didn't realize that you could sprint. A reminder about the shift key would be useful at that point.

@mhorth the steering was something we wanted to improve but didn't have the time. For most of us it's our very first game, so we spent a lot of time on just making it work. I would have loved to have a full day for tweaks and balancing, maybe next time ! Luckily, as you said the steering ended up adding some difficulty which the game would have lacked otherwise. Thanks for the kind words :)

@hayricakir haha yes, when we saw your game, all of us were like "omg this is what we wanted to do at the start" ! We even wanted to add an upgrade system between runs, but that had to be cut.
