LD46 — Keep it alive

Back Four Seconds by madalaski 2020-04-25T17:09:10Z

This is probably one of my personal favorites for this year's LDJam, I really enjoyed the time travel mechanics and the graphics style was simplistic yet pleasing to look at. The story was short but sweet and I really hope we can get more games in this style.

THE MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE OF MORTIMER J.W. by xk_the_name 2020-04-26T14:01:27Z

This was a really neat entry, the visuals are disturbingly charming and the audio really sets up the mood. There wasn't much to the plot but I guess it adds more to the whole "mystery" of the situation. I'd be happy to see such an interesting premise get expanded in the future.

Untitled Sport Game by fancypants 2020-04-25T12:59:31Z

It's a nice game, I like the visuals and the controls. My only issue is the AI can be too unfair sometimes when it decides to camp at the complete edge of the court so that the player's timer doesn't reset. Otherwise it was pretty good.

Untitled Sport Game by fancypants 2020-04-26T13:58:53Z

@fancypants The AI stays stuck to the middle of the court, or the bottom of it's court to be precise, so whenever I kick the ball it never reaches his court and goes back to mine, resulting in my timer not resetting. I still appreciate the effort put so that the game doesn't suffer from a lazy AI, so maybe if there could be a limit for how long the AI can stay at the bottom it would make the game fair

Once Upon a Night by Bdiebeak 2020-04-21T10:57:53Z

Really loved the simple but interesting concept. Felt like a genius every time I solved a puzzle lol, the graphics are really impressive too.

Parenting Crash Course by hollowspecter 2020-04-24T14:28:17Z

This is the most fun I've had goofing around with physics, one of my favorites for this jam

Someone called for an ambulance? by Bauke Regnerus 2020-04-21T10:55:30Z

Really liked this, the tricky gameplay, the cute art style and the small bits of humor add to this. Really hope to see more

Mr Ficus by KreGames 2020-04-21T11:03:42Z

Pretty good game, the concept is neat but I feel like the controls could be a bit more clear

The lich feast by geroblacksmith 2020-04-29T10:07:11Z

It's a nice little game, but I feel like the instructions could be more in-depth. The graphics were nice to look at and I like the music and the mechanics have plenty of potential. The only drawbacks are the lack of animations and transitions from one screen to another as well as SFX. The mechanics are interesting but they lack any sort of drawback or threat as well as the combat system being super simple to me. That being said I do understand it's due to lack of time, but if you do intend to continue this project with the suggestions I've listed I think it could be a great game. Good luck!

System Breach by matsuya 2020-04-22T15:00:54Z

@chromaphase Thank you! I'm taking your suggestions into account and there will be a HUD scale soon.

System Breach by matsuya 2020-04-23T16:48:23Z

Thank you @kosmik123 and @god-colo ! There will be a sensitivity slider in the next patch.

System Breach by matsuya 2020-04-24T10:37:30Z

Thank you @daniil-tcyvakin , we definitely intend to add more enemies and weapons and the level will be massively enhanced from what it is now, but since adding new features is not allowed in the jam at the moment we'll have to wait.

System Breach by matsuya 2020-04-25T16:32:58Z

@madalaski Thank you! I'd love to try your entry out as well, you can change the mouse sensitivity in the pause menu.

System Breach by matsuya 2020-04-26T13:02:01Z

@fancypants Thank you! The level was kind of rushed so we didnt have time to test how well would it work for other players, but we are taking everyone's suggestion into consideration and will make the default sensitivity much lower next patch. Fun fact, I usually play on really high sensitivity so it was an error on my behalf, but turns out there's this weird deal with Unity where the default sensitivity was a lot higher in the final build than it was in editor, we are looking into this though but until then you can change the sensitivity in the pause menu.

System Breach by matsuya 2020-04-27T20:54:26Z

@asfdfdfd @nvrskipgameday Thank you for the feedback, I'm really glad that you both were able to enjoy it! After the jam hopefully you'll be able to see more out of System Breach soon

System Breach by matsuya 2020-04-29T22:27:23Z

@imod Thank you! There will be more coming soon after the jam.

System Breach by matsuya 2020-05-10T13:24:26Z

@angusdick Thank you! Doom was defintely one of our inspirations for the game.

Redshift-Recursion by diinki 2020-04-25T16:31:57Z

While I feel like the player movement mechanics could use some work I really enjoyed what I was given with, the visuals look really nice and I'd definitely like to see more from the developer

Hacker Boy by Connor0Wolf 2020-04-25T11:49:21Z

As someone who made a game with a similar theme it would be interesting to see how this was and I really enjoyed this, the gameplay reminds me of Welcome to the Game, I enjoyed the bit crushed audio and the graphical style too. I'd love to see this get expanded in the future

The Lightwielder - Ludum Dare 46 by 1StepCloser 2020-04-22T14:56:55Z

The Artwork and Audio/Music take this game to a whole new level, even though I was confused and found it impossible to traverse at times due to my character getting stuck I found this to be enjoyable.

Genki by GOD COLO 2020-04-25T11:01:51Z

I really enjoyed this with it's simplistic concept and minimalist visuals, and for something made in 7 hours this was really polished and felt really good to play.
