LD52 — Harvest (2)

Combine Harv-racer by procrasteroid 2023-01-11T16:21:37Z ♥ 1

Really fun game and I love the music! I just found it really hard to see what was in front of me early enough at high speeds, especially when going up/down. Maybe that's just the size of the itch.io embed though, as some parts of the UI are cut off as well

4 Souls 2 Reap by Kepsert 2023-01-11T14:19:48Z ♥ 1

Really cool game! I love the mechanics and how you have to combine them to get through the levels. However when playing on a controller I had the problem that I could only throw my scythe left or right and not up/down

Get All the Orbs by Suchista 2022-10-21T09:35:50Z ♥ 1

The game fells really nice to play, especially the shooting. Also absolutely love how the world curls up around the edges, really nice effect

Nice little overcooked-style game. Pretty impressive for a 72h game, pretty difficult though, especially when you fall into a downward spiral when you are too slow and your AI companions are consumed one by one (Which is a pretty funny way to do lives though).

Could have also used a bit more tutorial, especially on how to deliver the completed food to the customer. I figured out how to do it eventually, but only after trying to deliver it directly to him, which broke the game as I could not pick up anything after that

Time Surge 3: A Giant Leap Too Far by HitchH1k3r 2022-10-19T09:37:41Z ♥ 0

Very impressive for a 72 hour game with the amount of content it has and also how polished it feels. I did get stuck a bit during the tutorial, because I didn't think of trying to shoot diagonally and then later I got more stuck in the warp core room, but I did manage to solve it eventually. To me the 10 second mechanic felt like a frustrating addition, really liked the puzzles and teleport mechanic though.

As others have said before, I also think a bit of explanation would have been nice (controls, power-ups, how the quota works), but I did figure it out and had a lot of fun with the game. I played surprisingly many farming games in this jam (not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned) but this one managed to feel pretty different with the constant threat of the quota meaning you have to make sure not to overspend your money

Really well polished game. Didn't make it very far, as I am really bad at this kind of game, but love the whole art style and UI design. Only wished there was an option to see the solutions after losing, but still really great game

Took me a bit to realise that interacting with the same object multiple times can give different results, other than that had no problems finishing the game. I really loved the art style and atmosphere of the game and also the creative way you used the jams theme, making it the central mystery in the narrative and not just some gameplay element

I really liked the weird art style, I think it's very fitting for a dream-themed game. The combat system also has some really interesting ideas, sadly it feels a bit unfinished with the enemies not doing anything
