I liked it! But really, I sucked at it. 99 was my best score... So yeah, great to know I now have a game to work on my lousy typing skills. :p But maybe it's also because I don't handle time pressure so well.. Felt like I couldn't even type the shortest words correctly --' But it's a great idea and ofc the old windows sounds were spot on. Not a big fan of the background music tho.. but that's just a detail. Great job!
Love the idea of a dwarf riding a unicorn, but there are some major turn offs... After playing for just 30sec, couldn't handle the soundeffect our protagonist made already. The 'boing' s fine, but the barfing..? Also, it would be nice to have a 'restart' option when you die and not having to go back to the menu and start a new game to continue playing. The 'storm' is also not that threathening either..
Good thing the humor kind of saves it. I'd be interested to see how it turns out, if you plan to rework on it
Absolutly loving the art & design of this game. It instantly drags you into this "Journey"-like world, but with a very unique style that made me enjoy this from beginning to end. (even tho I did die quite some times...^^') Keep up the amazing work!
I'm in love with the overall ambiance. The design, the music,... (I actually still have it playing in the background as I'm writing this..! Can't get enough of it.) Though as many already pointed out, it is quite frustrating to have such a hard time controlling due to this gravity effect.. Shame I couldn't get through the second round of asteroids. Also, I'd say that with this aesthetic, the 'hero to save mankind' factor feels a bit out of place... It'd be interesting to have something more to this main character, to go out of the box of the traditional shoot'em all. I'm sure it totally has what it takes. In any case, great work!
