Its like a "frozen synapse" meets tower defence, Interesting concept
Only level 1 & 2 show up for me, both a bit broken atm but I like the setting! and the rock throwing is cool too!
Seems interesting, not sure what puzzles/gameplay there is beyond the initial idea.
Very cool! got really entrenched in this one
I like the concept and it was engaging to try and get better, that said my 20fps on a (i7 and 1080) made the controls feel really bad, something which is essential to this type of game. Should really have been a priority for this.
@steph88 , Where should I sub to in order to look out for this video?
@MaximumIllusion Thanks! and yeah the positioning was a bit haphazardly done.
The shakiness is something inherent to recording a VR camera, though we're usually unaware of it, our heads are constantly making these micromovements, which get cancelled out by our eyes and brain. One way around this is to have a second camera that follows an average/smoothed position of the player camera, and then record that view. Didn't want to spend time on it for this Jam. Will definitely do so in future though.
@xanderhd Glad you had fun, one thing I messed up on making clear was the fact that arrows just appear in your hands once every ten seconds, though I can see why my hand gesture in the video would make you think it was being grabbed out of the air. A reload bar where the arrow is would've solved this
10/10 Would Starve again b/c I was worried about dying of thirst!
Really liked the spin on this genre with the timed bars.
Minor downside is that I'm not sure how it fits the theme however, do I eventually stumble across ancient alien technology?
Enjoyed it tho
Fairly simple and a bit easy, but this kind of game can be hard to balance, especially within 72hrs
Very cool visuals. Couldn't get past the xylophone bit though, but thats cuz I'm stupid
Hey, that's pretty good.
