LD48 — Deeper and deeper

The style, and the audio fit the mood really well. The start, that learning curve is a bit rough, but after you know what to do, you can have a bit of fun with this experience.

Dimensions by Tarcisiotm 2021-04-27T20:30:42Z

Very nice idea with the dimension swapping. I can see it expanding into further additional dimensions, and have your position in 1 dimension affect your position in others.

The sound design was good, and fit with the movements and the overall feel of the game. You nail is the mood of a platformer.

With a little more time, it would be interesting to see where this idea can be taken to.

Pretty cool game for a jam. I wanted treasure... but treasure was the friends we made along the way... or the first energy core thingy, which I took with me on an adventure, since the first door doesn't close instantly and you can take that first core :P

Tower Tower Defence Defence by IAmWave 2021-04-27T21:32:52Z

This one is really good. I got to like 60k enemies vanquished, like wave 120 something, at that point it was a slide show XD, maybe if I downloaded it instead of playing online I could have gotten further...

On the good, you nail the theme, like I was like 7 layers deep in some turrets. The audio, I like how it does a change in pitch the deeper you go, makes the whole mood cohesive. Prety innovative too.

Web Of Lies by romes 2021-04-27T20:18:13Z

The game was cool. The best part about the game was the atmosphere. The character designs feel very noir and cohesive. The interpretation of the concept of going deeper was solid. I liked that you could get to the same node with different options, and it would lead to slightly different dialogue.

What has me a bit confuzzled is that I don't know if I reached the true end. Adding an end card overlay for when you reached the end of a branch would have gone a long way in helping the player. First time I played it, I found myself trying to press everything, because it wasn't obvious that I had reached an endpoint.

That said, all in all, good entry!
