LD45 — Start with nothing

Slay the Dungeon by jharler 2019-10-14T15:04:56Z

Really funny characters, love looks and animations, haha. I think you should make everything faster, starting with move speed, it's really hard to wait while you're running across the room. Overall, much content in game, good job!

Hey everybody! Thank you all for playing and commenting. We didn't have enough time to playtest the game so yep... there were some inconvenient things like mouse sensitivity, but thank to you we noticed it and released a patch in which:

- Map generation (yes, it's random every game) was scaled down, so "the biomes" like forest should be more dense - Tweaked resources requirements for craft recipes - Lowered camera sensitivity

- Fixed mining process being interrupted - Fixed sprint (with Shift) matching walk speed, now it's a little bit faster - Fixed weird movement bugs like camera flipping - Fixed weird crafted structures placement - Fixed some recipes disappeared from craft menu

Game updated [on that same page](https://test.octothorp.team/ludumdare45/), you can adjust your ratings if needed <3

@brokenmirrormedia thank you! You can look at the moon, when it becomes full, the sound of a bell plays and this is when enemies go. You can know their spawn location by looking at the burning sparkles in the sky.

@philomory thank you too <3 Yeah, we agree that it could be a little confusing in the beginning, but it's a jam and we tried to focus on gameplay and feel more so there left no time to implement proper tutorial, huh. I think it's a good lesson and if we do another game, we should prioritize making it easy to start playing.

Thank you guys <3

HEARTSCAPE by ZakAmana 2019-10-14T16:01:43Z

This is an amazing game, people above have said much stuff so I can't really add anything. I believe there's a bug when using particularly arrow card, the others seem to work fine

I love the cozy feel of the game and the cool idea of building the level with looping on the edges. Good one!

Really nice little slasher game! Loved controls and overall feel. However I think bow is really OP, haha.

Nice one!

Art is pretty good, but I think some animation could make game feel a little more living

Good job!
