Oh my god what an incredible game. So simple and yet so incredibly fun, I got to about 50% collection completion before I decided to hop off and glaze this game. Loved it loved it loved. I hope you're going to continue working on this after the jam to add more to the game.

Very well made! It's shame that you've opted out of Audio because I really appreciated the sound design.

My only gripe is that the first time you interact the vents it's hard to understand that you *can* interact with them and that that there's anything behind them in the first place. My first time seeing the lights and the arrows telling me to come towards the wall I thought it was just a safe spot that I could stand in so that the swarm wouldn't reach me, not that I could interact with it and climb inside. It made me float around cluelessly for a few cycles wondering where the corridor I had missed was. Maybe being able to see into the vent from the connecting room would help make it more clear?

Seconding all of what @rolly said lol.

The game is fun, it's not anything complex and it doesn't have to be. I like it...But, this does also become completely mindless when you realize that purchasing every card in the shop every round will always increase earnings go up faster than the quota you need to reach. I think if you wanted to make the game engage the player, have the quota keep rising rapidly like it does in the beginning of the game. Make it increase insanely quickly, but make a reroll mechanic where you can reroll the shop by spending the cash you have over. That or make my insanely large sum of money I have sitting around after buying everything in the shop serve the games mechanics in some other way.

GHARK - Soul Collector by yaz_protzz 2025-10-06T12:55:28Z

It's a visually very nice looking game, but I don't think it's my cup of tea.

Excluding tiny nitpicks the gripes I had with the game was that I also encountered the bug where one of my cards switched mid combat, but the main thing that really irked me is that a lot of the cards with a lot of dialogue have their effect descriptions cut off by the bottom of the screen, meaning if I forgot what the card does I can't read its description again.

But this was still really cool, it's incredible how quickly you managed to get a quality game submitted :)

Awesome style, short and sweet!

I should warn you though that the first time I played the game there was an error that caused the WEBGL build to completely shut down and forced a restart :sob:

Down In The Dumps by Sonja Seppa 2025-10-05T23:13:12Z

First of all this is some absolutely fantastic visuals. All of the random NPCs are so unique, and their dialogue is absolutely filled with life. That little animal crossing esque speech really makes me want to hear everything they have to say. I love all of these little critters so much! AND OH MY GOD THE GAME OVER SCREEN NO THEY'RE CRYING :sob:

The dumpsters themselves are also very well made, the garbage is that awesome blend of repulsive and cute somehow? I really like the way the 2.5d style pops when you're inside one of them. Scurrying behind big juice boxes really puts the size of the player into the perspective. The gameplay loop is very enjoyable, making active decisions on what I want to pick up while dodging cockroaches is really engaging. But I feel like a lot of this game is dragged down by bugs (the most common one I found was just not being able to go into any of the dumpsters, though I had one where I was softlocked from ever dumpster diving because entering a dumpster would just spawn me at the spawn point in the starting area) and cluelessness as to what my exact goals and objectives are from the start.

This is really cool, but I really hope you have the time to fix the bugs and just generally polish the game before the deadline.
