Pretty fun. Not sure if it was a bug or not, but holding down space while holding left / right let me basically jump forever. It was useful and I was able to get through the screens pretty quickly. Color palette was nice but I think you could have used more shapeshifting, and maybe some sort of animation? Overall, I liked the ending.
Wow. THat was quite awesome. I kind of got the rules after a few goes, but not once was I able to actually get to a point where I finished the puzzle. The idea / mechanic were simply top notch. Looked pretty good, too! I also think it could use a tutorial of some sort, and though I appreciate the random nature of the blocks, maybe have levels that must be figured out rather than random blocks? It'd be nice to know if something was possible rather than just switching blocks randomly.
One thing that I wanted to add but couldn't due to time was a 3rd component, like a shield or a turret or something, that you could grab with the claw and upgrade. I do want more uses for the Claw, but none of my ideas really fit with the ShapeShift theme. I think maybe using it to grab asteroids to smack enemies or stealing components off of multiple component shipts, etc.
Hey - If you could along with your comment post your top score, that would be awesome! Just curious to see how people do :)
Davalcordub - It should be possible to move and shoot at the same time. Can you please elaborate on the problem you're seeing? Also, shifting into other ship types can help increase your health, making it a bit easier to survive. Cheers!
Pretty good overal.. It was hard! but I was able to make some good progress. Love the switching, the music and the sound effects were spot on. Good job!
I loved the graphics and sound. Didn't really know what to do! I had people follow me, and I tried to run away from the monster. However, i occasionally just lost and not really sure why. Looks really good though!
Pretty good but I had no idea what I was doing for a while. Even once I was able to transform, everything felt very slow. I think a bit better of a pace would have livened this up!
Simple, but fun! I managed something like 6700, not bad!
Pretty good concept! I think it needs some general polish. A menu, reminder of controls, a way to quit. Also, it was quite challenging. I think thats good, but there should have been a bit more balance or a progression as it gets harder. I liked the timeline switching, but I wish there was more to it. Different enemies per genre or something. Controls could have been a bit better but being able to remap them was certainly useful.
Looks pretty solid. Nice gameplay, and I appreciate the tutorial. Solid.
It certainly runs. However, it started really easily since I moved all 3 of my ships into the same spot then moved left / right. Looked ok!
Great music and visuals! I think the first few levels were a bit long as some of the other people said, but getting through them to the later ones was worth it. Pretty good entry!
Pretty fun as it stands! Had a few issues wit physics like a steak that went wild, but overall pretty good use of them. I love the setting and the music fit perfectly! Also, the heat coming off the grill was awesome.
