Dudes Vs All Kinds of Stuff by gassasin 2017-12-10T03:42:07Z ♥ 1

You really nailed the Contra run'n'gun aesthetics. I had a little trouble with the controls, though; I wasn't sure what button to press after I opened the upgrade menu. Essence looks a little too much like bullets; maybe it would be better to make it look like something that players want to collect, like hearts or coins?

Siege Clicker by kscarlett 2017-12-06T02:37:29Z ♥ 0

Nice graphics! Even though a huge horde gathered almost instantly at my gates and started making an infernal noise, I still managed to get my sense of pride and accomplishment -- dozens of it, in fact. You may not have delivered all that you set out to do, but the game still offered a nice, short clicker experience.

Beautiful! I almost feel bad putting traps in the path of those cute ghosts. I have to agree the difficulty curve could be revamped and the towers rebalanced, but I really liked your original spin on a popular genre.

Nice pun. :) Good idea with the weapons and the risk/reward balance. The kazoo worked surprisingly well to give the whole game a very comic feel.

Pride and Accomplishment by Herrybiscuit 2017-12-05T22:25:08Z ♥ 2

Pretty fun, and completely topical! You did great with the graphics and composed a chiptune that went pretty well with them. It took me three tries to get the hang of the gameplay itself and get to the "end". I suppose not being able to see the whole field was part of the challenge, but I wish you had included sound effects to help on keeping track of what was going on on the other side. I also wish the dev could do something when the door and tower are fully healed, like work to get more money. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!

What a nice little package of fun, great progression, well done!

I have the feeling that, with a few more hours and a couple more mechanics to create interesting decisions, this could turn from a clicker with a (very nice!) retro Civ theme into an interesting puzzle or score attack game.
