It's a really interesting concept. Too bad there are not many ideas for the moment. I would love to play a full lenght strategy game with this concept

What a lovely game. They look nice enough to care and some fun ideas. I wish there were more ideas, but you're planning on implementing that so who knows?
I feel like with some more variety this could become an actual game instead of a not game. Or perhaps you would call it a sandbox.

Well, I could imagine a Lemmings-style sandbox game here, or so ... nice job!
Great concept, and I like the pixel art. :) It almost reminds me of an evolution-themed game (thinking of the last LD theme), and I wonder if it could be interesting if you could encourage repetition of the ideas you like (artificial selection!) instead of just waiting to respond to the ones that randomly pop up. Some interesting food for thought here...
