Really cool entry! I played through it and had a great time. Here is a quick breakdown of my thoughts: β’ Gameplay & Design: The core mechanics feel solid and intuitive right from the start. The gameplay loop is engaging, and the controls feel responsive and fair. β’ Visuals & Art Style: The visual direction fits the overall mood really well. Everything looks cohesive, and the presentation makes it very clean to follow what's happening on screen. β’ Audio: The sound effects and audio design add a lot of punch to the experience and help build the atmosphere. β’ Theme Interpretation: You did a fantastic job incorporating the jam's theme into the core loop in a creative and clever way! Constructive Polish Idea: If you decide to update or expand this after the jam, adding a few extra feedback cues (like juice/particles or subtle screen shake) or expanding on a few mechanics could make it feel even more polished! Overall, awesome job for a jam project! Left you a high score/rating. Keep up the great work! π

Really funny idea with the phone! The hitbox felt a bit unfair sometimes, but other than that a really charming bullet hell. Nice one!

Cool game, damn the purple squiggly purple line pattern is hard X) The other bullet patterns were cool, and felt good to weave through The character hitbox is not very clear, but that was ok. +1 for controller support !

@darwyn glad you liked it! For the hitbox maybe we should have kept it squared, but noted!
@crak I agree, it took me by surprise more than one time π you can press left shift to see the hitbox but yeah it's small. Thanks for your feedbacks!

Solid jam experience! The mechanics are simple, intuitive, and fun to mess around with. Great execution for 72 hours! Left my ratings. Would appreciate your feedback on our game too if you have time!

That was fun, unfortunatly all I succeded in was training the AI even more, hope some of you was more successfull!
The music and the character art is very nice, and the jokes gave me a good chuckle/nostalgia.

@nursultan Thanks! I'll be sure to look at it (I'm quite busy, i'll check during the weekend!)
@freamdev it's easier to train the AI than destroy it, very realistic game. Thanks for playing π

Honestly, the game is really fun, but unfortunately I wasn't able to finish itβthe hitboxes are really tricky. I did experience two minor crashes in the web version, but nothing too serious. Great job on this project!

A fun little bullet hell! I enjoyed it. The little wobbling of "firework" projectiles is devious, couldn't figure out a strategy or a safespot for them π But there were enough bombs to power through anyway.
I think it would be a little bit easier to read where your character/hitbox is if they were more contrasted with the background, but being easy to read is not what bullet hells are usually about ahaha. And that could affect the Matrix-esque aesthetic, so it is all good.

Very nice entry ! I'm not good at all with bullet hell but the progression curve is pretty good and I had a great time playing it !

YES! A game about Nokia 3310, I was waiting for this one. And it's schmup boss fight <3
On a game itself, bullets should always be on top, they go behind the play and some item on ground, leading to difficult navigation. Imo, player hitbox should be visible at all time, a small bright dot or something. Even with this hitboxes seemed tricky
hit.PNG
The image is one frame befor getting hit, I wasn't moving. You can see it will become tricky navigating small intervals between bullets.
Apart from that, again, vibe, schmup and nokia3310, I like this <3
OKe honestly goateed after 8 tries i managed to get it down to 10% xD the waves completely crushed me before i realized that you can use the nokia as a bomb and shield hahahaa. Love it, its the perfect mix of struggle and fun! Well done :DDD

@overlix yes, it would has benefitted from a bit more tweaks! Thanks for playing
@dazylude yeah I tried different colors for the hitbox but in the end I wanted to use one that was used from the color palette for that exact reason ^^' Glad you enjoyed it
@kraghan there're not the easiest kind xD Glad you still had fun!
@tatawanda thanks for your feedbacks and for playing π
@dekisenpaitm it's written at the bottom of the screen but it's discrete π thanks for playing!

Awesome game! Only complaint I have is that at the moment there seem to be invisible walls preventing you from going into the top/bottom areas of the screen, which made for some frustrating moments when I forgot about them and tried dodging that way XD Other than that though, tons of fun! Great Job!
This is so freaking funny! Who would've thought that an old Nokia 3310 would become humanitys last hope against AI.

@bit0 yeah, we were unsure about them but didn't wanted the player to overlap the UI ^^' glad you still had fun!
@alexandru-barbanoua who would have thought?
