Nice work! Really fun

What a creative idea! Solving the patterns was actualyl really fun, and I feel like I know how a loom works now (or at least a little better). Unfortunately, by the time I had solved the green and white combo, I had made so many failed iterations that I had to call it there. With some UX improvements like swapping out thread better and I'd genuinely play this! Amazing job!

I like the color scheme and the clean feel of the graphics. The task at hand was kinda hard to wrap my head around but eventually I was able to figure out how to get the first white pattern. I could see this being a very successful cozy game!

This is a super cool take on the theme - I would have loved more in-game guidance to get used to the controls, but it was really interesting to learn about simple loom patterns!

Quite impressed with this! I'll fully admit to making it to the 6th pattern, looking at it a bit and going "yea, no..." so don't know what's past that. That aside, its quite fun, and as a general fan of preindustrial manufacturing, this hit exactly in my own interests, so was glad to see it represented! Visually I think its exactly what it needs to be, so well done!

I'm sorry I can't figure out how to play this game. I've read all the instructions, and your spoiler tags. I pick up the white spool, sit down at the loom, and then there's no way to sow it. I can move the brown slides back and forth, I can go to the settings, and I can click the loop at the top to leave the loom. That's it. I've clicked every pixel on my screen, I can't start the sowing. I'll wait to see if I get a reply to this and try again.

Screenshot_20261022_181853.png As an aspiring tailor, that was a lot of fun. This needs to be added to dressmaker (and a future suit maker game). Thanks for the game!

Really cool concept, I don't think I've seen one like this before! I kept making mistakes with the second pattern, it was a bit hard for me to visualize what's going to come out when I hit spacebar in different arrangements. It might help if you could zoom into the pattern to figure out where the spools should go. I think you have a really good understanding of a complex machine and you've encapsulated it nicely here! The sound effects and music go a long way, too! 2026-10-22 18_18_48-The Weaver by Astoeth — Mozilla Firefox.png

Great idea! Operating the loom with the calm music in the background has an almost meditative character.

Really fun relaxing game! I love the relaxing music and SFX. It was intuitive enough to figure out pretty quickly. I will say, I think that the game would benefit if you made it easier to see the weave pattern you are trying to replication-like some sort of zoom in function, because I had a hard time seeing it. Otherwise, this was a fantastic and unique game I would genuinely play with a bit more polish.

@cheeks Hello ! I think what you didn't see is that there are 4 different points of interaction around the loom before using it (when you see the full room). When interacting with it with your little interaction dot at the bottom, you will start using it, but the strings should be put on it before that by using the top interaction point for setting the vertical strings and the left one for the horizontal ones (try to move around it, it will select the closer one from your character, they will only appear if you have some string in hand to put on). The last one on the right is where the finished fabric will appear Hope that'll help ! Thanks for trying anyway !

@trusty Congrats ! 😃 Happy to see someone reached the end of it ! @profugo-barbatus wasn't that far though 😄

@nursultan @taximan981 @tenthousandfireants @vandervas-generator @blanky-and-rocket @klengh @kash Thanks all for playing and for your comments ! I wish i would have had a bit more time to improve the usability (like, yes, zooming on the pattern could have helped a lot). First time i did a jam solo, i had initially the intent to do it as a compo but even with an extra day i was a bit short on time to have everything working as i wanted 😅

Thanks for submitting to the stream! Here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2910887963

A bit more polish and more levels could make this game go a long way I think, it's a great concept and I'd love to see it expanded upon. Good stuff!

ohh I really liked this once I figured out how to set up the loom. I didn't quite understand the written directions on the page and didn't realize that there was an interaction spot behind/on top of the loom to set up the vertical strings (ty for the comment explaining that!), but once I got that, I really enjoyed figuring out the patterns. Once the first pattern was done and I had to set up for the second, I (foolishly) thought I could just replace the vertical thread with new colors and it seemed to do some random pattern, I loaded it up with a bunch of new thread but it didn't quite cover the whole thing so I had to undo it all. I was going to leave that as feedback but once I got to the later patterns I realized why you had it set it up that way lol.

A bit of confusing UI aside, I did really really enjoy this. Figuring out the patterns was genuinely fun, and there is a degree of coziness of counting the stitches (idk if correct word) to see if I got it right. Really nicely done!
