good job :-)

I can't even imagine the people who did that every day at work. Congratulations on your game.

Congrats on TeleFÓ! I loved the retro switchboard feel. The gold jacks, red cables, and the jack built right into the logo. The patience timers add great tension, and the illustrated manual makes it easy to learn. Wonderful work, congrats again!

Neat! I also can't imagine having to do this all day for work haha. The game was pretty slow to start, by the time I got to 10 money I felt like it'd be nice if it upped the pace slightly. Great job!

@ordineu Thanks! Definitely progressive speed wouldn't hurt. It is one of the first think to check if I continue developing a more complete version of the game.

Neat little entry! One of many that I saw took the "telephone operator" riff on the theme

Nice entry! Always wanted to create an old telephone station where you work as a telephone operator switching lines. Liked it

This is a simple but fun entry! I think the idea works super well with theme, and the music is a nice touch. The core gameplay loop here is really solid and is both a great foundation to build on and fun in its own right. I made it to 22 money having made only one mistake at the start (after failing my first playthrough pretty badly).

Besides increasing speed as the game goes on (others mentioned that already), I do wish less focus was put on the side of the screen. Having to look there continuously for the second party to connect the wire to feels annoying, taking me out of the game to look at a single number. Perhaps you could highlight the receiving party like you do the calling party? I do also wish there were some sound effects to alert me to things happening, both to immerse me in the game more and to alert me when something happens (mainly a call coming in or a call ending).

Hopefully you'll be able to make it into the compo next time, and thank you for making this game! 😄

@hammy275 Thanks for that detailed feedback. As you explain, having a more focused and appealing way of reading the destination would be great. Also, I had the plan to add dialogues and story, but it was just too much. Maybe after the jam!

Fun game! I had to re-read the instructions a few times and see it in action to understand how it plays, but once I got it it was enjoyable! Great take on the theme! It was fun and stressful when the lines overlap and trying to follow the line to the right destination to make sure I'm pulling out the correct cables. Great work!

This game was a lot of fun and taught me I'd be unemployed back when phones couldn't be automated :D

I loved the idea behind this and the chaos that comes from not planning things out properly.. you could absolultely extend this idea with overheard conversations and dialogue!

I liked the idea of a job simulator for old tech, really puts everything in a perspective. My first play through I got to ~11 and my second I was able to bank ~33 I think.

I encountered a couple of bugs while doing so, like a line calling when it was already connected and not finished, or a list of 0- on the left, which kept confusing me.

I haven't tried this approach, but what if you just turn every key switch at the start and turn them off only when you connect two lines? That might be a better strategy?

Here's my play through:

This stressed me out so much. I also thought about a telephone connector as an idea, but went with something else. Nice to see it.

Our games turned out pretty similar 😸 Great minds think alike!

I got a bit stuck when I saw "Line 0", but there is no 0 point... Снимок экрана 2026-10-26 222810.png

Nevertheless, other things work with no problem, the process is pretty meditative, I enjoyed it. Good entry!

Thanks to all who played! @apoly I would never imagine that someone would put the effort not only to play my game, but also to record it. Thank you!!! Regarding the key switches, in the current state there is no penalty for just turning them on at the start. The original idea with dialogue implemented was that you could choose to be a bad employee and listen the secrets the customers are talking about, but with the risk of getting caught. And yes, there are still some bugs. Thank you again!
