I enjoyed a few fights and the menu aesthetic. The characters and fighting environments were rather random not really cohesive. But you def captured a bit of charm with some of the comments and fighting styles of some of the players :)

I had fun with this! It has a classic fighting-game feel, with a nice variety of character designs and great artwork. I would have appreciated a bit more guidance on the controls and mechanics at the start, though. I also wasn’t sure how it connects to the “Old Tech” theme—perhaps I missed something? I also played against someone called O.O, and we ended up tied 1–1!

This is the first time I’ve seen such a big team work together on a jam game—and when I saw it was a fighting game, wow, I can only imagine how much fun you all had making it! Amazing work, so stylish and so cool!
@lvdou2nd Hi! We're so glad you had fun playing our silly game! As for the old tech theme we decided to try to simulate that retro arcade machine feel and CRT TV theming, as well as battling through the ages through our various characters from different time periods! Definitely a bit unconventional haha.
We plan to update the game after rating closes so we'll add better indicators of mechanics soon! Thanks for playing :3
@jooooooise Truly our team size came from someone "going what if we made the biggest game jam team as possible" and really just spiraled out of control with friends of friends and so on! We just kept seeing people land in the Discord server and kept going "oh my god it grows." XD
I don't think any of us had ever worked on a team as big as this for a jam but we made it work! And it was super silly and fun to do. Thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Love the character designs, especially the plague doctor! Pulling fighters from completely different centuries gives you such a fun mix of people. The colourful sprites against that grey living room look great too.
Fun fighting game! Who ever thought of "the elephant in the room" as a fighter, you're my kind of silly. Address Me is such a funny special move XD Well done!

@Isaac-hisey Hi it's me >:), i think the kit was the most fun to design and the address me ability was so silly we were all laughing about it. Glad you enjoyed the game!
Fun game, cool character and move designs, plays really smooth. My only complaint is no gamepad support (that I noticed at least), I find fighters very hard to play by keyboard. Overall great work!

The concept of pitting fighters from radically different historical eras against each other is incredibly clever. It's a fun premise and it translates into a great sense of variety within the fighting experience.
It's a really cool fighting game, I got a bit hooked trying out all the characters. But I absolutely love two of them — Patience and 0d3tte, both in terms of design and skills. The music is awesome too, it really sets the tone for the game.
A classic fighting game, well made and pretty fun to play!
Cool game and cool idea. It plays really well and, I have to say, I LOVED the shatter transition when you first load in. I was absolutely awful at it (as I am with all fighters) but I am super impressed with the range of moves and the registration of hits. I would say, though, that I probably would have preferred fewer characters with more fleshed out animations - but that would detract from your general game concept, so it's fair enough. Great work! (Also, the songs absolutely bang!)

@broken-joysticks Glad you enjoyed the game! I made the music for Patience and Od3tte, so I'm so happy you liked playing them!

Cool character design! Classic fight game
Cool to have time to make a full online game in 72 hours, I was a tad lost on what some of the characters specials where doing but for this short a time real cool entry!

This game is wild in the best possible ways. I love it. I was wondering why it seemed kind of all over the place, but I saw the number of contributers and that put a lot of things in place 😆 The fighting is decent for a game jam. I don't expect like, crazy combos and setup and such, and what was there was fun enough for a game jam. The music is top tier. Easiest 5 in audio I've ever given to any game. @kash you wrote Od3tte's theme? What a freakin' banger! Only beaten by R̴̂̋̌͑o̷̩͐̕͘o̵͈͗́̏m̶̾͋̚͠'s theme, but honestly there's nothing you could have done against that. The character descriptions and move abilities were a really nice touch.
You managed to capture the spirit of a fighting game really well.
Overall, nice work! Especially having so many contributers. Tough to bring something cohesive together that quickly with that many people.
Also, I think there's a typo in your binary...

@t-c Thank you for playing our game and leaving such a nice in-depth comment! I also did Room's theme, and K3N's voice actor rapped on it, which was incredibly fun to record. We will look into the binary... Thanks for pointing that out.

@t-c lols I was one of the organizers for the project and going in I knew that I had to somehow modularize and seperate the assets all the ~11 artists were working on. Thanks for playing our game, our whole team was really proud of the end result and I hope you enjoyed it :)
@human-writes-code Thank you for playing! YESS the shatter transition is my favorite too!! I designed all the UI screens and desperately wanted to have a shatter effect like Persona 5 does LOL. So I'm happy you love it too, @yifanf did an awesome job coding it!
Our large character roster in part comes from our team size being so large we had mini teams of artists with similar art styles working on each character, we hope to add some more fleshed out animation post jam! Fun fact: we actually were supposed to only have six characters, but due to a communication mix-up one of our artists spawned in a new one so we ended up with seven LOL
An impressive amount of characters for only 3 days. I also like there's an online mode, though I was not able to make a match.
I like the concept of having fighters from different eras. Given more development time, it would make for nice theming on the various arenas.
During the fights, I would like to have had more visual clarity. I was often confused whether the effects I was seeing were caused by me or by the enemy. I also found it difficult to judge which of my moves were most effective and if there was any benefit to stringing moves together.
Perhaps some of that confusion could be solved by having a tutorial? Where the player is guided through the various moves of at least one character. This could give the player a baseline for understanding what they're seeing.
Trying to create a multi-character fighting game in only 3 days is mighty ambitious! I think you did a good job considering the time constraint.
