The music is an absolute vibe!

I LOVE to explore the space! I love its sounds and music too! Nice game overall!

Very cool, space exploration jrpg. Some damaging skills, and energy costs display on the skills would be nice

Really great mood!

I feel like the accuracy of both the player and enemies is too low to do much strategizing. All I can do is mash attack and hope for the best.

I played for about 5 minutes, got a bit lost, and the game had constant combat to the point of getting boring. I thought the music was good but repetitive. The graphics were so-so.

Lovely game! The first levels are hard, it's easier to just spam flee instead of fighting. The accuracy for sure is a bit low but once you get some levels it feels great! Congrats

this is ridiculous

ok, I take it back. This is MORE ridiculous...

Not fun at first, as you can't reach anything without dying. Then fun starts when you realize you can repair at the start, and grind to level up. But then fun ends when you realize how much you'll have to grind to pass harder mobs.

TLDR: fun, but very unbalanced

fullmetal-automaton 2026-04-24 19:58

@metalim haha thank you, yeah, turns out balancing is pretty time consuming. Also just caught a bug: ``` var hit_chance = 100 if (from.accuracy() - from.evasion()) > 0 else 50 var hit = true if randi_range(0, 100) < hit_chance else false ``` That really should be to.evasion(), but even then, the lowest hit chance should be 50%, maybe its best to tweak that to 80% or so just for the jam

Cool vibe and music. Also liked the intro. Exploration is mostly fine, but the constant turn-based combat encounters are annoying.

The most constructive feedback I can give: If you're doing a bugfix, you might as well fix all the typos: moral, disasterous, recieved, feul, persued... Really takes me out of it when it's right in the opening text...

The battles don't feel all that strategic, or maybe I'm missing where I can see my HP and XP.

What an interesting idea: a spaceship JRPG. I'm not a big fan of spaceship games, but I am a fan of a good JRPG. I enjoyed your game. I was a bit cowardly avoiding the battles with pirates and robots in ties, but the important thing is that I managed to complete the mission.

Simple graphics and easy gameplay. I was enjoying the "overworld" music (bass and drums), but then suddenly it disappeared. I was left hanging (pun intended!). I liked the battles even though I didn't use most of the items I got. A habit of old-timers playing JRPGs, saving items for the final stages and never using them.

Congratulations!

@euler-moises Wow! awesome, thank you so much. I was curious if anyone would genuinely finish the game when rating. And apparently I severely need to put strings through a spell/grammar checker before putting them into the game.

I think the concept of a spaceship JRPG is actually pretty sick. The art and UI definitely have that OG JRPG vibe. However, I cannot move 2 freakin' pixels without entering combat. Against the same 2 enemy types. It gets old quick, especially when the spaceship seems like it should be able to fly freely around. Some random encounters are fine, but right now, they are way too frequent and become extra frustrating. Could definitely expand the idea out further into a full spaceship JRPG though, the idea of random encounters in deep space just makes too much sense. Nice work for a solo dev!
