t’s quite hard to get right, but I really like the idea of tuning parameters to match based on the wave signature. The visuals are great, though the game ended up being a bit too challenging for me.

awdsasdaw 2026-04-21 22:11

@saloid for me too

Be a bit more lenient on the signal check. I was so close, yet so far. Apart from that, the small experiment setting is clearly in my tastes.

yopox 2026-04-21 22:33

you can use the pause button to check your wave against the sample :pause_button:

@saloid @awdsasdaw @tatawanda I made the [signal check](https://git.yopox.fr/yopox/ld59/commit/4d61d943f97c4456f605f19581244e17681911f3) more lenient :)

Very cool twist with the F signals! Have to say that the signal checks still seem quite strict to me, but it works by pausing the signal :smile: One thing that is missing for me is some kind of feedback when you can the solution. Maybe some short sound would be helpful there because I was sometimes wondering if the solution is correct and suddenly was in the menu a few seconds later. But the level selection menu is quite cool!

Excellently done wave balancing game. As someone who has tried to do this kind of minigame earlier, its very impressive how intuitive you have made the mechanic. I never felt like i was lost and all the levels had different kind of solution. Graphics are also excellent and the F-channel narrative kept me hooked until the end.

Really great game and very fitting for the theme. The mechanic was really good and intuitive. Sadly I couldn´t figure out the F-signal thing, but loved it.

@geeni thank you so much!!! this means the world to me :)

@solestebano in the last task you can guess the alternative solution :eyes:

solution spoiler: !> A, B, E maxed for 15 seconds

Very difficult to understand at first, especially because the level select looks exactly the same as the level. Once I figured out what I was supposed to be doing it was quite fun and interesting to piece together! Solid puzzle game, just needs some sound and instructions!

Very stylish, lots of fun, and in the end, more difficult than I thought! I really enjoyed the gameplay where one has to find the right sources of signal and set the potentiometers for each to match a waveform in the sample. Really cool old-school graphics looking a lot like one of those old pieces of music software. And speaking of sound, this game might deserve some audio. That might make the gameplay even more intuitive and it might be cool to hear how the audio reacts to the settings of the signal sources in levels.

Fun entry! Finding the signals was fun, and the little clues sprinkled around for the special ending added some good intrigue. I think I got stuck at the main menu somehow when I first started, but restarting fixed it. I definitely think some audio feedback would have taken this over the top, but you still did a good job of conveying the feel of the game despite the lack of audio. Nice work!

Thanks everyone :)

I usually join the Ludum Dare in a team with at least one of my composer friends. I was alone this time unfortunately, but I found the motivation to join because the Ludum Dare is ending soon :crying_cat_face:
