Games should be for the players not the game!

I loved the overall vibe and pacing of the game. Having the option to control the sound levels in the game without having to adjust my speakers manually was also a great little addition.

The game was fun and it plays well. If you've still got the time, I'd an option to skip the intro cinematic on subsequent playthroughs.

My one nitpick would be camera. With games like this, enemies that are directly above or below the player can "just appear out of nowhere". By having the camera track the player's cursor as well as the player location, it allows the player more control as to what they see and then these surprise enemies become a skill issue instead of a game feature.

Nicely done! :100:

why you opt out of audio this track is sick!

It doesn't mention that you have to press "x" to advance the text boxes there so I thought I was stuck for a good bit.

Good game. One drawback: the levels are too small, and often it feels impossible to dodge enemy shots. Still, I enjoyed it.

@xedur @anku Thank you for the feedback guys, some good points! With the number of times I debugged this, I’m surprised I didn’t add a skip dialog button.

@big-nose The soundtrack is not mine, only the SFX are, but thanks!

@tundra Sorry about that, space/enter can also be used.

like the sound and movement

Arrrr!

A cool "shoot 'n' map" game. I had fun, especially the spacewalk to get the heart. The game still has room for improvement.

Thank you, you did a great job!

Nice and fun. I liked the shapes of the space sections and the different ships. Combat was fast paced enough to be fun but gave you enough health to not get annihilated. Nice 5-10 minute experience.

Nicely done, had a lot of fun, especially once I've got my revenge (and some extra riches on the way). :D An issue I've had is that during one of the regular fights one guy somehow wandered into the outer space and we couldn't reach or damage each other through the walls, had to restart. Thankfully, it was only my second map node so it didn't ruin my impression whatsoever, still enjoyed all the shooting and revenging. :D

The pixel art is cute, and the whole experience is really smooth.

Very fun and cool graphics :D

Really cool game, very well made and polished. The gameplay is a classic take but yet really fun, the graphics and the audio fits perfectyly.

Good job !

Polished game: fun lore, nice graphics, killer music! I have to say, I’m not very good at these types of games, and I wish I could’ve jumped right back into the action after restarting. I definitely see potential for a mobile version!
