Great job on the movement. 3 skills are all useful.

jinda 2025-10-07 09:34

Well done with the work in a short period. Some bugs in the UI but I can figure out!

divarium 2025-10-07 09:41

Charming. I like how the animations are simple yet fluid. The interface is hiden in the browser version. I got the same problem for my game but i managed to re-upload in time. Nice job.

lyshaka 2025-10-07 09:41

I played the itch.io web version and there are a few problems, first you can't play in full screen and the app is too big so it's just cropped and half the screen is missing. Then I couldn't buy the third ability it just didn't work (or what I believe was the third ability, again the app as cropped I didn't have the full button) and also some part of the game has missing tiles and it's just pink textures everywhere. Other than that I enjoyed it the game has potential and every aspect was taken into account :)

This is a solid platformer with collection elements. Exploring the maps is fun and doesn't get boring. However, the 'E' key purchase function seems fully available from the start and doesn't unlock new gameplay later on. Hopefully, this feature gets expanded in the future.3.jpg

Dude, just crushed Starbearer and holy crap—this is a Ludum Dare game? No way. First off, the art style slaps. That dark, crumbling world with those glowing stars? Fits the “finding light in despair” vibe like a glove. Every frame looks so clean, you’d never tell it was a rush job. And the 2D platforming? Way smoother than I thought it’d be. Moving, jumping, dashing—all that stuff flows perfectly. Collecting stars feels super satisfying, no jank at all. But here’s the real kicker: the theme is on point. Being a “Collector” isn’t just grabbing items—each star feels like you’re breathing a little hope into this dying world. Even the writing hits different. To pull off visuals, gameplay, and emotion this tight in just 48 hours? These guys are legit talented!😎🥰🥳

k1ruko 2025-10-07 11:14

thanks for the advice, guys, really appriciated! The UI problem is fixed in the download vision, but we are still figuring out why it appears in WebGL mode.

yumo 2025-10-07 12:04

ueighti 2025-10-07 19:37

Good platformer!

mikita-gancharou 2025-10-07 19:43

Really solid entry! The art looks great and fits the mood perfectly. Controls feel smooth, and the skills add a nice bit of variety. Had some issues with the UI in the browser version, but it didn’t ruin the experience. Awesome work for a jam!

reivilibre 2025-10-07 19:46

Decent platformer with a well-designed map that provides a reasonable challenge :). Great art.

Found the jump sound effect a little repetitive; maybe could have been spruced up with a few more variants and maybe pitch changes, but that's a really minor point. Well done!

stolvann 2025-10-07 19:48

Super fun game as someone who loves platformers! It was the perfect level of difficulty where it felt challenging but not frustrating or impossible. I also love the art, chibis r super cute.

firebender 2025-10-07 20:09

I saved the city, woohoo! A simple idea well executed, well done  Screenshot 2025-10-07 220403.png

tardis2snej 2025-10-07 22:06

Great! Well done fitting a complete story in a small game. I enjoyed getting through the level, and the pressure to collect stars to avoid dark keeps things interesting. I liked how the dash feels in combination with other mechanics. Also, great art!

protohere 2025-10-08 01:01

Nice job! i like the skills and the game reminds me a lot of metroidvanias ive played

2025-10-08 05:12

The art style is absolutely stunning. The dark, crumbling world with glowing stars creates a powerful and beautiful "light in despair" atmosphere. Every frame is a treat to look at. Incredible work!

vadim-lyanka 2025-10-08 10:41

Nice artstyle, very good game

frogo2 2025-10-09 09:33

I like the idea of a short Metroidvania-inspired game with well-tuned controls and smooth character animations. A small drawback is that the game's flow is somewhat disorganized, as it is easy to acquire all the abilities.

2025-10-10 01:08

"FromSoftware doesn't just make games—they forge legends in the crucible of frustration.that’s so amazing!

2025-10-10 16:25

What a special game! Which owns not only a childish painting style, but also a positive theme!

kapricorn-media 2025-10-11 16:59

Great game, good job!! The beginning area was well-designed as it naturally made you buy the dash mechanic and understand how the game works. I was expecting more abilities and more puzzle-like situations later on in terms of picking abilities, but ofc there's only so little time to explore in an LDJam :) I really enjoyed the game and the art style and got to the end.

Some minor suggestions: the walls on the right could be higher contrast, I found myself running into a wall sometimes haha. Also I didn't quite understand the darkness and the slam-down mechanics, but maybe I missed something.

kaomii 2025-10-11 18:17

What a fun platformer! The art is so well done and I love exploring the map! The mechanic of having to get to a star before it gets dark was also very cool ^^ It was very satisfying collecting all the stars and getting to the end. The dash button location was a little unintuitive for me but other than that it was a very good game. Good job!

thadev 2025-10-11 20:25

Very cool idea!

If i had to give some feedback, I'd say the controls feel kinda slidy, like you slide around a lot when stopping or starting to walk, which might have been the expected result but it feels quite much, and i feel like the character is sometimes really big compared to the spaces available : if your smallest spaces are 2 tiles high, your character shouldn't fit exactly in there it should be 1.5 tiles high, that way you don't get stuck around corners here and there because the player is too big.

If not everything feels really well executed! The art is really cute and the story is nice! Wish there was some music but as first time time devs that is quite hard to achieve or time exhausting to find online. Good Job!

zillo 2025-10-12 10:28

Love this star-collecting parkour game! Simple 2D style, but totally addictive. Great time-killer!

custodi 2025-10-12 19:42

Сute game with beautiful hand-drawn graphics. Platform implementation has its issues, but they don't distract from the core gameplay.
