I Love how the game look

fredrik-andersson 2025-04-08 17:43

Writing here, so I can remember it when I have access to my VR station :D

botch-frivarg 2025-04-08 17:57

Impressive bit of work for a game jam VR game!

bolenochek 2025-04-08 18:31

When I log into the game, for some reason I can't perform any actions ((

christian-zommerfelds 2025-04-08 18:34

Does this game support non-VR? I couldn't get to run it on my normal Windows machine (I couldn't move or click on anything). Maybe write it explicitly?

shadowbrain 2025-04-08 21:28

This game is VR only (as it says in the title) sorry!

Nice, I like it

So good visual! Im sure if you will make a none VR build your game will be more popular. Amazing job!:)

Very nice visuals. The dynamic water spurts were a neat effect, though it seemed odd they just stopped in mid air. The robot arm took a while to figure out and the water level rises way faster than I can plug all the holes. I had trouble flipping the switches in the first room, and the robot arm grab button. I feel those would work better if you could affect them by just touching them rather than having to grip. Nailing a metal plate to a leaking glass window while underwater seems like a bad idea.

The final stage was a bit disappointing, just do all the things once with no consequences. It would have been nice if there was a continuous narrative where you have to rush around and fix stuff while reaching some kind of goal.

Yeah sorry I ran out of time to finish up the water effects so they remained fairly basic! Same with the final stage...

I would have loved to play this, but every time I start the game, I fall through the floor! :( Using a Quest 3 headset through Steam Link. Tried standing in different corners of my play space, and even on top of a chair to elevate myself above the ground plane, but sadly no dice.

shadowbrain 2025-04-13 14:04

That is odd! I can't recreate that, maybe try the native build and install the APK? The game is virtually identical, should be solid enough.

Nice game! Good graphics. Was fun to play it. Wish to have even more puzzles! I was amazed to find a VR game on this jam! super cool :)

I wasn't able to get past the robot arm room, is there something I'm missing? I tried putting the green thing into the red thing, and to the side of it, but it just gets dropped. I was enjoying it until then, I hope to try it again later.

Very neat to do a vr game for ludum dare, one of these days I hope to do the same.

EDIT: I realized pretty quickly on a second playthrough that I need to remove the red pipe. Duh. Great game!

Hey there! I really wanted to play this as I used to work in VR a few years back and am still passionate about it. I am on a RiftS and when I boot, I have no way to move out of the initial room. I can jump and the right hand controller is visible, but aside from that, I can't move! Any ideas? Will definitely give it another go if you have a workaround. Great entry anyways for trying VR! :)

EDIT: I think it is my setup... left controller not recognised! Apologies! Will give it another go later :)

designernap 2025-04-24 18:46

I did it! Great work :) humor was ace, awesome mood and lovely effects. Great work!

shadowbrain 2025-04-24 19:27

Thanks for sticking with it! Glad you were able to get it working :)

wiredoverload 2025-04-25 19:34

This was a good looking VR game! Things were great until I got to the robotic arm, after which I spent 15 minutes getting the green pipe into the outline multiple ways without it counting, at which point I gave up. I did enjoy what I was able to access though.

shadowbrain 2025-04-25 22:29

Ah the outline is not an outline! It's a broken fuse! Sorry, I really rushed the art on that bit because of time constraints...
