I really liked how you incorporated the idea into the game, the overall mood is awesome. I was a bit lost when it came to find the distressed ships and ran out of ammo too fast so i got caught by the monsters in no time :P. Awesome work!

This is really fun, I like the radar idea and the backing track is perfect.

i liked the implementation of the sonar used. The rescue timer was a tad too quick once you got the first one so i was panicking finding the next group as i got collision stuck along the wall. well done!!!

I really like the vibes and the idea. I couldn't get very far though, I ended up constantly running out of ammo and never being able to find where the shipwrecks were. With a bit more ammo and more indication of where to go, I think this would be a quite enjoyable little game. The atmosphere reminded me a bit of some kind of a retro version of Dregde

I both love and hate the movement, it makes for a good challenge when navigating and puts a lot of value on you being able to use the sonar effectively. I didn't feel like I could get anywhere without already knowing where ships were that I needed to rescue because the enemies would eventually rid you off ammo. But overall I like it! THe music is fitting.

Like the atmosphere! But seems game miss global goal, like some visible progress. Also, sonars feels good)

Interesting game mechanic, I really like the idea as well as the sonar system, it's very creative! And I think it can be further improved. However, in other side, the large-scale level design combined with the short time limit might prevents players from locating the source of the distress signal within the allotted time. Meanwhile, frequent encounters with monsters mean that players' ammo is never replenished in time, leading to a vicious cycle.

Love the radar ping effect - great foundation here

The radar was so cool. It was kind of difficult to search for small ships in such a big dark map. Overall, nice entry.

overall a really cool game and i like the visual of the sonar pulse. i feel like there could be a longer delay for the sonar pulse before it disappears or having a mini map on the corner for indication of the other boats so players wouldn't get lost like me hahaha

Music nice, ping was a cool idea. Controls were clunky for me. Got few rescues, but the octopuses killed me ;D Well i used my bullets on shit, maybe it was my problem xD overall a decent game

Pretty cool idea. I would add damage for when you collide with the terrain. Also, you should select the option on itch.io to click to play on fullscreen, bigger screen would make it more fun

I'm with the people who struggled to progress through this game-- mainly the controls and memorizing what the sonar pings revealed of the map. I'm still loving the mood and execution though, especially after the visuals drew me in. The one input I'd like to add is that it's easy for players to accidentally lose one of their cannons at the start of the game when they're clicking through the dialogue :P

Awesome work to everyone on the team ^^

Nice game! I really liked the implementation of sonar. I'm kinda obsessed on the sonar based mechanics after the problems we had with ours :D

magnesiumninja 2025-04-08 22:32

The sonar pings are a cool touch! I would have liked if they temporarily highlighted objects of importance -- it was difficult processing which things were noteworthy through a very thin slice. Still, a very thoughtful execution of the theme.

Amazing effect on sonar pings! I liked the music and the atmosphere, especially in the dark areas with enemies nearby. One minor point: I felt rushed because the rescue time continued to count during dialogues, but it didn't impact the experience. Overall, a nice execution of the theme. Well done!
