Great graphics, the game is very polished. And the music and sound effects are great. It even has a leaderboard! Great job!

Very very nice jam game. Simple, well polished, everything works. You even made a menu to set up the audio levels! That's not the kind of thing we often see in a jam game! (i'm Zhao in the scores) Capture d’écran_2024-10-08_00-37-08.png
I'm not sure about the scoring system, it seems like the best way to have a good score is to wait for a level with a "good" start.
Congratulations to you all!
Never had an idea how long this game lasts, until I clicked "surrender" at some point and hey - I'm rank #1! Enjoyed the game, art style is great, gameplay also pretty simple but fun, the "goal" was just not really clear to me. I thought I have to play for as long as I can, but if I understand it correctly now, the goal is to finish a round with as many red cells as possible and that's your highscore.

I really love this game. It feels really polished and I like that there is so much risk/reward built into the main game mechanic. One thing that felt a little off to me was having to confirm your attack with the C button. I feel like that could be a more intuitive option. Still a really great entry, had a lot of fun playing it ^^
This game definitely has the best graphics and audio at this event! The attack system is a bit more complex than it needs to be (only use the mouse to launch the direct attack, don't use the C button to confirm). After all, nice game, very polished, great idea to use the theme. Great job!!
Fantastic amount of polish, very evident that you're experienced jammers. Art and music were top-notch. I played until 2nd on the leaderboards!immunedefenseforce.png
Really liked the look and sound of the game. I liked the attacks and risk of friendly fire, although I felt maybe the 'C' key would be better used to cancel attacks instead of confirming them. Implementing a leaderboard was cool too!
Simple but fun concept, although the controls killed a lot of the fun for me. I needed a moment to figure out how to control the attack, and even after that I was regularly releasing the mouse button shortly before actually pressing 'C'. Otherwise, a solid entry with the leaderboard also being a great feature.
The graphics and audio are amazing. Maybe the difficulty shoud increase level by level!
This is a pretty interesting game! It felt like I could be wreckless with it at first until I figured out how the leader board worked, then I was trying my best to destroy the evil bubble germs. Keeping the blast radius of the attacks from destroying the friendly cell was difficult, but it felt good when you were able to keep up with the numbers. Overall, a very simple concept that worked well with the theme!
Nicely playable! I love a bit of realtime planning aspect when deciding where to strike
Simple and fun concept! I agree with the others that the default should be drag and release to attack, and maybe "C" or right-button to cancel. In general, it's better to optimize for the action that is taken most frequently. But other than that, loved how straightforward it was.
Love the art style and sound effects, also the first time I've seen a leader board in a game jam
Nice concept and very nice graphics! I have a cold right now so it was extra satisfying. I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be getting more difficult or if it was basically the same every round. It felt pretty repetitive after a while, would be nice if there were options for powerups or more variety in bacteria behavior, or if the difficulty incremented. Great concept.
Love the fact you included a settings menu. Leaderboard is also a plus! The scanline effect going over the screen was a really nice touch. The gameplay loop was interesting, having to make a trade-off vs. going fast or meticulous, whatever saves the most cells.
The mechanism for attacking was a bit repetitive and straining on my wrist, I would have liked it if it was a drag and release kind of mechanis instead of having to hit C. I also think it would have been interesting with some differences every level.
Great work on this entry!
Great tutorial at the beginning allowing us to grasp the controls before the game starts! I didn't notice the difficulty progressing? I played about 6 rounds before closing out of the game. I enjoy the "under a microscope" style and well done tying in the theme.
Amazing ui, menu, screen distortion, and other effects packed in here. Very tidy little game. I wish there was another twist to the gameplay. Maybe if you only had so much energy/antiseptic or something the zap, so bigger/riskier circles had more of an exchange. As it was, I was just spamming to quickly use the smallest circle and zap them.
