Good entry. The game is solid as soon as I figured out what was going on. It's like a card battle system, very ambitious for a jam entry. A lot of work went into this. It's pretty fun! I like the crow.

good game i really enjoyed the card battle system and the pixel art was solid i wish it wasnt locked to a weird aspect ration but i enjoyed it!
This theme is amazing! Didn't think about throwing the tiny creatures when I was coming up with ideas. I like the system here, once i understood how things worked clicked and I started to have to think through each hand very carefully. I tried a few times, but couldn't beat the 15 heart level. I think the coins might be a bit under-rewarded. I felt I never had enough to buy anything.
I love this strategy game! ... If my little animal friends and I were careful, we'd be richer!
good "card" battle game. Very easy to understand
@ascenial I understand it's not the best for larger screens, I adjusted the aspect ratio to match my phone since I was looking for a game I could play while out walking. I'm really glad you enjoyed the card battle system and the art thanks for playing :)
@stalemeat Thanks so much:) I’m glad you enjoyed it and figured out the mechanics. I’ve been worried that people wouldn’t understand how the drugs work, so it’s great to hear it came through. My favorite is the rabbits, the extra draw can really help against bad luck, which I think fits super well :)
@tinykidtoo Thanks, I'm glad you liked the theme. Throwing tiny creatures did feel insane, but it was a fun idea :). It’s great to hear that the system started clicking for you, I’ve been worried people might not understand how the drugs work. I really appreciate the feedback on the coins! During testing, a cheaper shop made the crows way too powerful compared to the other animals. I’m thinking of possibly giving players coins when they win over an opponent, but it still needs testing. Thanks again for giving it a few tries :)
I really enjoyed your game. The dark humor got me :D But it's also tactical and the music sucks you into it. It would be nice if you could make it scalabel, because on my screen (Browser on Mac with 2k Screen) it was a bit hard to read.
I'm not saying that I necessarily condone drug use. What I am saying is that it seems to be a winning strategy in the context of throwing small critters, another act that I also do not condone!
There is a bug and that's the music stays on the boss theme after restarting, which I suppose is a good bug to have anyone notice!
@ruruie Wow you noticed the music change. None of my friends have so far :) But yeah I forgot to change it back after the player loses.
@tavox Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the humor and the game, The music definitely has a great vibe! Here’s the link to it, https://opengameart.org/content/glitchy-battle.
I’ll definitely look into making the game more readable on larger screens like yours. Thanks for the feedback!
If you don’t mind me asking, since I don’t have a Mac to test on. if you use the zoom option (press and hold the modifier key while scrolling with your mouse), does the game scale properly as well?
Really nice game. Had a lot of fun playing it.
Very nice game, but the powerscaling was a bit off
This is so far my favorite entry! The game is incredibly addicting in a good way, and I can see how you can build on the concept easily. For some reason, I was immediately reminded of super auto-pets, and I think the game would benefit from both a freezing option on the store and the option to sell some cards. Some highlights were the coin mechanic and the permanent improvement. I can see this game having a bright future ahead. Great job!

The boosting mechanic is really interesting and made for a fun deckbuilding gameloop. Very challenging at first till I started to see the way the boosts work. I like the theme and character designs. Well done! Fun game
Nice card game, easy to understand and play throwing them critters into your opponent is satisfying Great game, although the soundtrack is kind of too repetitive
@goodwincek Glad you enjoyed the game! Thank you for the recording—it was awesome to see your experience, and I could tell when the mechanics clicked for you.
@wyvex Glad you enjoyed the game :)
Sorry, if it’s addictive, it’s probably because of all the drugs in it :P
I’ve been thinking about your comparison to Super Auto-Pets, and I can see it. Buffing cards between rounds that carry over is most commonly seen in auto battlers. I also really like your idea of adding a freezing option to the shop, it would definitely help poor builds get some synergy cards.
Thanks again for the kind words and feedback!
I've hit Princess 11 Attack, does it keep scaling forever?
@ruruie 11 attack "level 7" great job! Yes it does keep scaling forever, Someone even hit level 11, my own record is 9.
Nice implementation of core deckbuilder mechanics. Seems fairly well-balanced. Some more variety would be nice, the effects are very basic, and nothing in the shop ever seemed particularly exciting except a couple of the buffs.
The character design is super cute, I love her.
From the outset, I love the art. There's a really nice selection of colors, and the princesses and animals are very cute.
I found the game to be easy to pick up and get into. Big kudos for having such a well thought design, plenty of depth to be varied, but not overwhelming. I didn't feel like any encounter on my play through was impossible, despite the steady increase of difficulty. Had a good time with Royal Critter Tossing.
I feel like it's impossible to get pass farther levels without a bunch of fox's and turtles.
@runningopenloop I've made good progress with most builds. One strategy that works well for me is to avoid dealing damage in the early rounds and wait for the pill. This approach allows you to be quite strong by the time you reach level 5, though it does come with the trade-off of having lower lives.
