I love Roguelite maps. First battle I didnt drag any Meeps onto the board. Autodeath.

Good entry. It'd be nice if there was some type of indication that the start battle was pressed, thought the game froze at first. Well done though

Love the mix between FTL, Slay the Spire and that one game mode from League of Legends, really cool game!

francoisvn 2024-10-07 23:41

I tried the web build but I think it isn't working properly for me (Firefox). Felt like most of the UI didn't respond like I expected it would :/ Sorry I can't give more useful feedback :'(

@jadith Haha oupsi :) Thanks for playing! @paroxysmal Yes you are right, right now the only cue we have is the battle music starts. Thanks for playing :) @kallam Thanks, definitely drew inspiration for STS and league of legends TFT :) @francoisvn Hey sorry about that :(, we've just made a change which should fix those issues. We'd be be happy if you tried again

I had some issues with trying to get the HTML5 version to fit properly in browser. Also, I'm not sure how to strategize since I couldn't control the NPC movements. Maybe a turn-based approach? Overall, I like the concept.

Wow, I completed whole game. I don't know how i get hooked but the icons of trader and character is so cute

larryv 2024-10-09 14:43

@j-rara Sorry about that, the embedding should be fixed now, thanks for the feedback :) @megurt happy to hear that, thanks for playing :)

Wow, I see you have worked hard and put a lot of effort into the game! Very addictive gameplay

Insane amount of depth for a GameJam game! As someone who is a big fan of auto battlers and also Slay the Spire, this truly makes me happy.

Did not encounter any bugs, even with the complex systems. Art does its job and is rather cute. This is definitely my new favourite game this competition!

I'm a fan of your graphics. The creatures are incredibly cute. The music is very well-chosen—I played for quite some time, and it helped me relax. I also really like how you designed the level map. It's clear that you put a lot of effort into this game. Well done!

The art was pretty cute, and overall I like the system you had in place in terms of battle map/skill tree. Seeing the little meeps evolve with each golden mushroom was especially satisfying! I do feel that the respawn of all your meeps at full health after each battle removed a good bit of challenge that the game needed, though.

Love the art style and music for this game!! The map and music really sets the tone of a medieval meep quest haha

Really impressed with the gameplay you managed to have in 3 days. The roguelike style really gives this simple game a lot of replayability. Would love to play this game with a more fleshed out trait and battle mechanic system!

WOW, game concept is crazy for me, keep going my friend game looks kinda good!

Hail the Meep!

Couldn't give "Super Food" to my Meep. Didn't know why. Maybe it was fully fed? Clicked "Start Combat" and nothing happened. Clicked around, and something happened. Would be nice to have a little hint, that the fight has started and is going on. Also missed a way of checking my Meeps.

But lots of content for the short time 👍

Oh wow there's a lot of features packed in this entry! It's impressive you made a roguelike in 3 days. I had a hard time figuring out how to level up my meeps: it's not clear that the skill tree can only follow one path and it's not clear when a meep is max tier. The game could have used some more visual and audio feedbacks for that aspect. Once you understand how everything works it's a pleasant and fun game. Good job!
