looks like someone forgot to fill the description

dysleixc 2024-10-07 16:35

Where's the game?

stormburpee 2024-10-07 16:38

Cover image looks cool! Can't wait to see the game though...

bertobui 2024-10-07 17:04

@dysleixc check back in a few hours!

bertobui 2024-10-07 19:08

@emelme done now!

Works on ich, but it doesn't work here. Quite an unusual game, great job buddy, too bad there are no sounds to be honest.

gaalsien 2024-10-07 19:49

Interesting principle of the game. Lack of sound breaks the immersion, sadly. But it was really interesting experience to play this game)

It's a fun game! The graphics are nice, and the UI is really polished. I think I might have hit a bug where my health bar disappeared and then I seemed to win everything, not sure if I was actually winning or if I was cheating :eyes:

I AM THE GRAND CHAMPION!!! I had a lot of fun playing this game, it rewards reaction time and the ability to predict the trajectory of you and your opponent. I can see so much potential with different maps and abilities, and multiplayer? Only thing it was missing was audio. Not sure if it was just broken for me or if there is no audio, but it would really make the game more satisfying and intense. Very well done though. Art was fire too.

@jonathan-vinesar You quite possibly were the first person to ever beat this game, congrats! Glad you enjoyed :)

mr-esport 2024-10-07 23:40

Pretty addicting, even after maxing out the shop I kept playing until Purple (couldn't beat it). ^^ I'm actually wondering how you achieved this Bowl-physics feeling so neatly. 10/10 would spin again !

Hey! Just played your game and wanted to share my thoughts. The artwork is absolutely stunning - those hand-drawn graphics are top-notch! I got really hooked on the gameplay. Loved how you put the key labels right on the icons, made it super easy to figure out the controls. The game's got a great balance to it. Oh, and that shopkeeper? Totally adorable! Those extra abilities you added, especially the two-clone thing, really spice things up and make it more fun.

One tiny thing - it took me a sec to get what was going on with the pit and why my path looked like that. Once I figured it out though, it was smooth sailing. By the way, I had to play on itch because the LDJAM version showed a black screen after the Unity logo. Just a heads up!

Overall, fantastic job!

By the way, i checked errors in console and found that ldjam embed game throw error "'serviceWorker' property from 'Navigator'". We fixed same issue with godot build, so I think you can try to change this block in index.html: ``` if ("serviceWorker" in navigator) { navigator.serviceWorker.register("ServiceWorker.js"); } ``` to ``` if (false) { navigator.serviceWorker.register("ServiceWorker.js"); } ```

and check if it fix the problem.

Oh this was tons of fun! The progression feels really impactful, nice balancing on that. I'm curious what logic you put in there to get the roly polys out of an avoidance pattern, because I definitely felt some subtle nudges bringing us towards each other. The parry mechanic was a really engaging part, really well done!

I have no constructive criticism on the gameplay, just adding audio as you know would have taken this up from fun to amazing.

sasha20 2024-10-13 21:29

The game is fun and engaging, with a great interpretation of the topic and beautiful design. God Job!

valmontechno 2024-10-19 14:50

Very nice gameplay and beautiful graphics. It's just a shame that there are no sounds. Very good game!

ps: I mapped a controller to the game controls for more comfort.

It's not totally clear what some of these upgrades do, though I do think I feel some effect. What's multiple levels of decoy? Do they hit harder?

No matter, this was some good cute fun! The concept is great and the progression works really well. I love your art for this, just wish there was any kind of audio at all to go with it.
