The open-space movement gave me Outer Wilds vibes. Well-executed! Simple games like this seem to be good fits for the Playdate, although you'd probably have to adapt it to the device.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD56 → Blu

Looks interesting, and skybox is very nice! Two thoughts that came through my mind: 1) feels a bit unclear what to do, I mean okay, there are tiny children following and a portal, but then I didn't know what was the real objective of the game, 2) it's actually a little hard to navigate a 3D space like this, as you have very little reference to realize your speed (only the portal). The game would maybe benefit from having iconic landmarks like planets just to give you some reference and percepetion of 3D space.
Game definitely has potential so good job here!
Waw nice game, I love the open space feeling, hard to understand what to do tho. Good job anyway!
Interesting concept, would've been cool to see it more fleshed out! I would enjoy being able to create discs of revolving bodies.
Collecting the moons is really satisfying, but they are very hard to see. Definitely on to something but needs more work!
I like the idea! I think it also could be an asteriod which can becomes a planet and a black hole.
I liked the planet character and was fun zipping around space trying to collect the tiny moons but I could barely see them and kept losing them.
Super cool! Love this game
I like the space background, the stuff flying around and the blocky, colorful characters. Looks interesting. Did not really understand the gameplay. But good job making it work!
Not much to do in terms of gameplay, but cool to see WebGPU being utilized. Worked nicely on Safari Technology Preview as well, although the FPS was capped at 60 unlike with Chrome were it locked to the monitors max refresh rate. Very nice music and atmosphere and a unique interpretation of the theme. Despite their name being Blu, the character design reminded me of the Red Guy from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared xd. Good work for a solo entry, especially for one built with technology outside of the usual Godot and Unity fare.
Thanks everyone :) It was a bit unfinished - you all nailed it with the gameplay issue... but I was 100% too tired to continue :/
