Nice game, and impressive that it's a real gameboy game!

Nice game, and impressive that it's a real gameboy game!
Absolutely loved it! The art is really cool and I loved the story! The card system in fights is simple but really smart and fun!
Awesome job! The game looked great, love the classic GB feel, it must play great on the console :) The part I really dug is the simple, but interesting overcharging mechanic which made attacking a fun gamble. My only piece of feedback is that all music and sound effects were great apart from the "outside" music, which seemed pretty monotonous in comparison to others. Thank you so much for the experience, I enjoyed it a lot!
I cannot believe this is a real gameboy game, I was so happy when this loaded up on my Analogue Pocket. I got really lucky and got a perfect attack on the boss at the end. Amazing pixel art, and the music was absolutely fire too. I would absolutely play more of this. Was this made with GB Studio?
retro feeling,nice Graphics
Really nice work! Loved that it was a small polished example and think it was an interesting take on the theme.
It is a very unusual and atmospheric game, the visual is quite interesting, it looks stylish and funny! Good luck with your project, I would have played it more than once!!!
Super impressive! Really enjoyed the game overall and the battle mechanic is pretty slick
i didn't know gb studio was a thing! this is so cool. great game, love the art style here.
Amazing job! My favorite game of the jam so far. Love the atmosphere, great work on the art, music, and story. The combat system is cool too, it's a super solid base for larger project!
This is incredible. I love the blackjack style battle system. So fun!
Tried it out on mGBA and its pretty cool. Definitely a clever approach to the theme using a familiar framework.
omg i love the retro vibes in this game, simply amazing, great job :)
That's a really cool combat mechanic, it was incredibly fun to play it! You're right to be proud you did a great job!
A Game Boy game means it's an automatic 5 for me.
impressive game ! I love the battle system ! Perfect pixel art, awesome storytelling, great mood ! Capture d’écran 2024-04-20 174810.png
Nice concept! Gave me Pokemon vibes. I really loved your pixel arts and its color schemes. Music is also amazing and fits really well. I wish to play it more in a near future!
Cool project! The art looks really nice, and what you were able to get done was impressive. I found the battle mechanics to be a bit lacking in depth, as I felt I wasn't really strategizing as much as I would like in a turn based combat system, but I think there are a lot of avenues you could take to expand upon what you have. Well done!
Really cool game! The concept with the cards is fun and clever. The nostalgic sounds and visuals work really well with this atmosphere ! Good job !
Fantastic entry! I really enjoyed the story and battle mechanics, plus the fast that it brings me back to the gameboy days is always nice to see :)
I love the combat mechanic ! It has room for variation and little twists but the core is already very pleasant to play with. I am hyped for the rest of the game now  Very well done !
love the atmosphere of this! very satisfying to get a perfect attack.
The music is great! Also was surprised with the amount of tracks the game has. Combat can be pretty deep if items and abilities are implemented (maybe something to peek at your next card in the deck, see enemy damage, double the value of the card you drew, etc). Overall, it looks, plays and sounds very stylish and coherent, congratulations on the great entry!
